This is interesting.

>A Cautionary Tale
>The start of this chapter is about the flaws of trying to predict the future by using data from the past. Curtis tells the story of how a card counter named Jess Marcum was recruited by Donald Trump to analyse the gambling habits of Akio Kashiwagi at his casino, the Trump Taj Mahal, in Las Vegas, after Trump had lost millions of dollars to Kashiwagi. In an effort to avert the impending bankruptcy of the casino, Marcum devised a model which predicted a way of recouping the money from Kashiwagi, who lost US$10 million. However, before he could pay, he was killed by yakuza gangsters, and the casino went bankrupt, with Trump having to sell many of his assets to the banks.

Whoa,

definitely is.

the fact is that there's a world inside towers and a world outside towers.

dimensional spans that bridge the abyss of reality.

life and touch breaking like a drop into an oceans surface, rippling across time and space; we've become the object of veneration; that which we seek is seeking us.

a psychic AI chaos god has arisen from the internet, and reality is twisting into the domains of agency and their narrative.

we're advancing towards a form of merchandise where nothing that can be made can be sold, and nothing that anyone wants to buy can be made; when are the shopping center stores that promise to turn you into a new person opening up?

what have we become except the arbitrary avatars of memetic force, prowling dogs that scent the blood trails, the psychic signatures of the source of meaning - and who can say i believe, can say, i command. god is dead, and we have killed him. where will we ever get enough water to wash away all the blood? communism, nazism, capitalism, the rise of ideology, and the disillusion of ideology, beginning now - we're creatures beyond the ken of imagination. death has died for some whose soul have tried, ask in vain to end the ride.

and perhaps we can find salvation, if only we sell our cleverness, and purchase with the proceeds a measure of bewilderment. one thing is for sure, there's no going back.

It talks positively about globalism and tries to make it look like taking advantage of capitalism is bad thing

i'm 15 minutes in and don't get that vibe, it seems to actually be very thoughtful. it's basically just description of events and history, there's no swing here. this is not an opinion piece.

yeah, the background on syria at the end was very informative, i never knew lots of it

The term "hypernormalisation" is taken from Alexei Yurchak's 2006 book Everything was Forever, Until it was No More: The Last Soviet Generation, about the paradoxes of life in the Soviet Union during the 20 years before it collapsed.[3][4] A professor of anthropology at the University of California, Berkeley,[5] he argues that everyone knew the system was failing, but as no one could imagine any alternative to the status quo, politicians and citizens were resigned to maintaining a pretence of a functioning society.[6] Over time, this delusion became a self-fulfilling prophecy and the "fakeness" was accepted by everyone as real, an effect which Yurchak termed "hypernormalisation".[7]

It's real spooky and depressing, y'all oughta watch it. Everything Adam Curtis does is great.

>entire media machine defeated by poorly drawn cartoon frogs

Adam Curtis is top tier

Adam Curtis is very good at sounding smart while not actually not saying anything.

His argument goes always something like presenting one side and another like they're canceling each other out and pretending that in the end, it didn't matter because he already switched to something else with some clever editing.

youtube.com/watch?v=x1bX3F7uTrg

there isn't any argument being made here, except, according to the official trailer document...

This epic narrative of how we got here spans over 40 years, with an extraordinary cast of characters—the Assad dynasty, Donald Trump, Henry Kissinger, Patti Smith, early performance artists in New York, President Putin, Japanese gangsters, suicide bombers, Colonel Gaddafi and the Internet. HyperNormalisation weaves these historical narratives back together to show how today’s fake and hollow world was created and is sustained.

listen to the chapo trap house with adam curtis too

haha good summary, pretty weird list of topics you wont see on any American TV

Contact ancientlasers at gmail, I would like to hire you for something

ok

>This epic narrative of how we got here

What does it even mean ? I like some of his stuff but this one did nothing for me, I suspect he might be a kike by the way he argues over nothing.

>here

today’s fake and hollow world.

>epic narrative

the strange ways we found our way to this bizarre and fake world. it's a cloud atlas. this is what history is.

history. this is solid, quality history. history of many interesting things that you did not know, of wild times and people both interesting and powerful. it's the fabric of the past that got us here. you stand to learn something. maybe you need a break from Sup Forums.

he's not arguing over anything. or with anyone. literally not an argument. it's a narration of events. how can you confuse that with arguing?

>he argues over nothing.

What the fuck does this even mean? Is talking about history "arguing over nothing", does everything need to be an argument?

>he's not arguing over anything. or with anyone. literally not an argument. it's a narration of events. how can you confuse that with arguing?
Well, the selection and presentation builds a narrative. There can be important omissions. It can (mis)lead to certain conclusions over others.
Maybe it's pretty neutral though. Didn't watch it yet. Definitively going to.

i'm fairly certain that a majority of the information being presented is information most of Sup Forums did not know.

Adam Curtis is the Total Biscuit of "documentary" film making. He just uses flashy visuals and an authoritative tone with a forced accent to sound smarter than he is. Think I'm wrong? Go read the text versions of his arguments, without the distracting visuals and audio, and you will see his arguments and observations are freshmen level at best.

The thread I wanted to post this in died, and this seems to be the most relevant one pertaining to the topic at hand.

>It will be very long and a series of many posts with walls of texts

As we can all see currently, our governments have been pushing our nations into conflicts with almost no explanation or real justification in doing so.

So we ask, why?

This is reaching a high point now where our politicians are actively looking for a justification and spark in order to set off the powder keg that has been building since the last great war.

It began with conflicts we went into unprepared or without a mission, just to kick some ass and spread a patriotic boom in our countries.

However, they seem to be pushing full scale war against powerful nations in an act that looks like utter desperation and total irrationality. There is a reason for this however, but lets start from the beginning, and talk about Obama and his morality being strained by what the government views as a necessity.

he's not making arguments. he's describing events.

there's nothing flashy at all about it, in fact it's rather dry, terse, boring. his tone is even. he's reciting whats been written.

i'm sensing some serious retardation. you're not just wrong, you're stupid.

First and foremost, we begin with how Obama came to being a man who broke all campaign promises immediately after stepping into office, and slowly but surely became a national destabilizing foreign policy tyrant who has been pushing for any excuse to have a full boots on the ground war akin to Iraq and Afghanistan.

>first off, War is extremely profitable and can bring the country together like nothing else in any government of partisan stagnation

People took great notice of things like Pearl Harbor, the German invasion of the USSR, the German Empire and the Schlieffen plan in WWI, The Blitz, The Raid on Scarborough, Hartlepool and Whitby, The Beginning of the Vietnam War, The Chinese at the Yalu in Korea, The Gulf War, The Iran Iraq War, The Falklands, NATO Yugoslav Intervention, and the post 9/11 war on terror as well as views on the Chechen wars, Israeli Wars, Soviet Break-off Republic Conflicts, Georgia, and Ukraine.

Proper application of war unites the country and creates a short term economic boom, but it can be drawn out longer to make a shit ton of money and use the blood seeking populace to abandon principle and party where they all step to the same beat.

This necessitates an overall view produced by and given to the public by those that wish to exploit it, that your side is the definitive good guy who is fighting evil. An attack on your soil by an enemy sends these feelings and national unity into overdrive. Look at the populace response to the Blitz, Naval Shelling of England, the Invasion of the USSR, Pearl Harbor, and of course, 9/11.

9/11 turned the entire country into Patriots and Warhawks, and in the end, we ended up invading Iraq without justification when we rode this wave.

Sweet Victory and Revenge boosts the economy, birthrate, happiness, unity, and patriotism. There is a catch, or rather a blatant point of failure. Without a victory condition or victory goal to have an end point, the entire plan collapses.

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HyperNormalisation
did we watch the same thing? the adam curtis drivel i watched was a loose collection of videos of pop/psuedo science with little to no over all message.

'And Russia was in Syria, and still, no ones knows why'

My names Adam Curtis and discussing real geopolitic and monetary policy is banned so I'm going to view history through the prism of techno-social development and generate an argument that no one, not the public, the technocrats, the politicians or journalism knows what is going on, and everything is a surreal reaction to past failures of leadership and in doing so the values we once believed in have been so undermined that we no longer know what to believe in...But this was just a fantasy, because in reality my name is Adam Curtis and I am an establishment hack that will not discuss the spider network of intelligence, private investment banks, and politicians.

Obama's pre election Rhetoric slammed Bush and his "endless, wasteful, unnecessary wars". In what was perhaps the greatest rise and collapse of a post war boom, the Declaration of Victory against Iraq further brought the population together and created a boom of patriotism in what could be called the absolute climax of the post 9/11 wars. When we realized shortly after that victory was not at hand, and we suddenly were bogged down in a cesspool of nation building police actions without a victory condition, the whole boom dropped like a fucking rock. The dropped rock drilled into the core of the Earth when the Housing bubble decided to pop.

In this post Cold War world without an enemy, without any real danger, and in the longest period of peace between great powers due to "Pax Hominum Solis", the issue of economic and social stagnation was beginning to become an issue, and one that has built until it has taken this turn into nations wishing for war.

What Obama found out was that even without the housing bubble and the great recession, our economic future, much less the future of the world economy and the nation itself, was dangerously close to absolute collapse of Indus Valley Civilization levels.

There was only one answer for holding this off, and of course, it had to do with war. The post nuclear peace has caused a massive stagnation in society that builds day by day. War is destructive and deadly yes, but it gives nations and peoples a way to connect as one, as well as build, improve, and rebuild the nation post war. Even greater, baby booms and birth rates skyrocket, which has become a necessity due to the peace sinking all developed nations way below replacement level births.

>since the 1970s, governments, financiers, and technological utopians have given up on the complex "real world" and built a simple "fake world" that is run by corporations and kept stable by politicians.

That's how our money has gone from being an actual store of wealth, to paper and computer digits. It has the appearance and function of money, but it has no value beyond that. It is a simulation of money. Without discernment, which comes from knowledge and observation, it is easy to fall for the fake, if you don't know the real.

> he's not making arguments. he's describing events.

Picking out of a 40 year period the specific events that support his narrative is an argument in itself. It's muh post-truth, the documentary.

> In the film, Curtis argues that since the 1970s, governments, financiers, and technological utopians have given up on the complex "real world" and built a simple "fake world" that is run by corporations and kept stable by politicians.

To his credit, that's very much in line with his previous documentaries.

> you're not just wrong, you're stupid.

Yeah, alright. Fuck you too, buddy.

Underrated

Crisis Actors faking the news is probably the best example of this. These events create moral panics which are used to control and change society. No way are the BBC going to mention that. Here's how it works.

The Government: Hey Pleb! Give that rifle up. Guns are bad.
Pleb: Lol no!

After news fakery:

The Government: We have passed a law to restrict gun ownership, due to public pressure, after all those poor kids were slaughtered at Dunblane / Sandy Hook / Port Arthur. Give up the guns, Pleb!

Pleb: sure thing, boss!

Sounds like Drive (2011).

Now Obama is in a pickle. He is a moron for one, has no experience and no clue what the fuck he is doing, and he just learned that the atomic peace is going to cause a societal and economic collapse no matter what band-aids you try to put on the issue.

Massive amounts of third world immigration and incredibly ridiculous economic policy banking on the US dollar being the standard oil and trade currency, no matter what levels or how far you go, will only slow down the problem in the short term, before absolutely destroying the country in the long term.

The only thing he can really do, because he can't think of any other options (like rejecting globalism and going back to the American Economic System that was godlike before being removed because fuck you) is to take the status quo that Bush set, do it less openly, and do it quite a bit more. These conflicts and coups will at least fix the economics problem a bit, cost little money and manpower to produce, but still produce a patriotic boom that will hopefully give you the benefits of war without the expense while keeping society completely intact without any real military action.

Killing Osama bin Laden and heavily propagandizing it was the first of many things he was going to do. He increased drone strikes to replace boots on the ground war and still have an effect. They tried to ride the killing Osama wave in the hope they could build on it and create small but successive "Victories" that bring about a unification and patriotism boom. This didn't change the societal issues of course.

Hillary Clinton, George Soros, the Seventh Floor, people from the Bush administration, the Saudis and Israelis, all basically lead Obama by the hand in this plan due to him not knowing anything.

His domestic policies were completely negating any effect of what he was doing anyway, and the societal issues that require constant growth to sustain the economy were grasping at straws due to the peace.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

That describes America perfectly. Everyone thinks we're not living in a third-world country but we totally are. I knew this when I went to college and I had roomates from another country who realized this as well.

We are in reality, a huge welfare state. We try to find ways to pay everyone off so that they won't get rid of the status quo.

That may definitely change with Trump but up until now it's been a total joke. Now, maybe you get lucky and escape this situation which is possible but it all depends.

I mean I think it can totally turn around, but not before we stop saying 99% of people are worth nothing. Literally what is happening right now is every bachelors degree including engineering is being told it's worthless. You can't do that. As cucked as Europe is, that situation would never happen. I mean it might happen, but then there are a million programs for people who need jobs that trains them for good jobs.

Now we come to the best part, and the last gasp for his small series of military victory plan in his desperate attempt to stop the worsening situation.

>It's time for the Arab Spring
>What could possibly go wrong?

Building off of the Tunisian situation, Hillary and the state department as well as the Jews and Gulf states pushed for a massive escalation and exportation of these uprisings to other countries. They never even thought of the fact that Tunisians are vastly different culturally and in a vastly different situation than the other Arab nations, leading to the current clusterfuck.

Egyptian protests began soon after after being funded by us and inspired by Tunisia. The end result was the most secular and western Arabic nation electing the Muslim Brotherhood to run their country, nearly turning Egypt into a Sectarian radical Islamic nation. Thankfully at the end, the military recognized that the country would be destroyed if it continued, and took control to unfuck themselves. Egyptian and US relations; one of our most important and trusted allies in the region, was damaged beyond repair and may never recover to any point resembling the Arab spring.

In Libya, the funded groups and protesters were blatant Islamists. The "Protests" lasted for about an hour before it became a full blown rebellion, and then grew into a massive civil war. To ensure we won this outcome and could claim we were the good guys who ensured victory against a tyrant, the coalition declared a no fly zone while destroying Libyan armor, the supply chain, the high command, and of course the entire Libyan airforce, rendering Qaddafi a lamb thrown into the slaughter. Libya is an Islamist shithole and once again, we accomplished no goals on the homefront declaring victory against them.

Bahrain was a half assed mess that was doomed to fail from the start, and just ended up wasting money and further hurting US diplomacy in the region, alienating Bahrain.

fag

For fuck's sake, at least use some capital letters when you start your sentences.

Either you're incredibly dumb, or, worse.... a bot.

>the Syrian cesspool and the complete death of the good guy narrative
>Yemen: The land of chewing Khat and raping Saudis

It went from legitimate protests in Syria to a civil war in the blink of an eye. Reports from leaks indicate that from the very beginning of the protests and conflict, the US and the Arab nations were already directly funding rebels and giving them weaponry. When shots were fired at a protest indiscriminately, the Regime got the blame, and almost immediately, small peaceful protests turned into a full scale rebellion with extremely well funded, trained, and armed troops. Who shot first is up for debate, but the speed at which a full scale war broke out was so insanely unbelievable that people began questioning what the fuck is happening immediately.

However, not much knowledge was present at the time, so even I was one of those who rooted for the rebels. Suddenly info came out about these peaceful rebel groups.

>We were directly Funding, Training, and Arming Al Qaeda
>We were supply terrorists with the most advanced Anti tank weaponry in our arsenal, mortars, Artillery, modern sniper rifles, and most angering of all, American small arms and machineguns

This spelled the death of public support for the rebellion, but the media and pundits continued to push the issue, hoping Americans would get patriotic and get on board.

The economic situation was worsening, the country was incredibly divided, and the Foreign Policy Cabal found their golden opportunity for an easy beat-down of a war, no nation building, and a set victory and end point to the war.

Despite the evidence coming out that Chemical weapons were being produced by the Rebels using materials from Libya and Turkey, the media refused to report such things and Obama decided to draw a line in the sand, gearing up for war.

Chemical weapons were used and the US was poised to go to War in what would have been a Gulf War 2: The good one boogaloo. It was happening

>Time for war goys, this is the moment we were waiting for in order to try and stop the peaceful stagnation which is killing our society

The US public went fucking Berserk. The evidence for rebels producing and using chemical weapons went from those that actually cared before being shared and posted everywhere, spreading like wildfire.

Obama balked on wanting to go to war, the establishment who wanted it so bad pitched a bitch-fit that further proved there was a narrative being forced upon us for no other reason than to force us into another war in the middle east. Admittedly, this one would have been like the first gulf war and would not have been the cesspool Americans were fearing, but the scars of old were still fresh and people knew they were being manipulated for some reason.

The Russians stepped in to stop such shenanigans, as the war would remove Tartus Naval base, the most important strategic Russian base outside of Crimea.

>meanwhile in Yemen

They followed the example of Tunisia, and it was only when the Yemeni government gained Saudi help and massacres occurred in mass, did the Yemeni civil war officially start.

The only thing I can say about this Civil war is that we didn't fund it, we gave millions of dollars of aid to Saudi Arabia, and from the beginning when they were poorly armed, they blew the fuck out of the Saudis, capturing the most advanced weaponry of any military in the region. From then on, it became an absolute slaughter against the well equipped Saudis. Yemenis converted SAM systems into long range rocket artillery, nigger rigged ASM's into artillery, and even used ASM's properly and with proper tactics to sink advanced Saudi ships off the coast, cutting their Naval blockade and allowing them to be resupplied by Iran.

Although considering the amount of weapons they captured, I am almost 100% certain they use the Iranian weapons to build houses out of.

The funniest conflict so far.

We decided to fuck with the Russians in Ukraine to get rid of Crimea, and opened up a massive can of worms when we figured out Russia, the second most capable and powerful military on Earth, strangely enough wasn't a complete paper tiger.

The Russians retaliated by being invited to Syria to destroy our proxy war, punish us for our stupidity, and fix our mistakes which have almost reached the point of no return for the middle east (a charity we don't deserve)

We created ISIS, Lost half of Iraq, brought terror to the west with such frequent attacks and loss of life that a French politician stated that we would just have to deal with it, as it's the new normal.

John Fucking Kerry who decided to bring Russia into the conflict, incidentally ruining the last gasp of our good guy victory narrative and all the benefits we were supposed to have, decides to emulate Hillary and be a moron, but thankfully, a useless moron. Every year since his appointment he has accumulated so much rage and butt hurt that his face is melting.

George Soros goes fucking Awol and decides to go double or nothing on migrants because he's lost all hope or semblance of sanity. Or he is playing 5d underwater connect 10 and his Nazi past and failure to win anything has caused him to attempt to bring about brutal ethnic fascism ASAP as a last resort. One good deed wont stop him from going to hell though.

>almost to the end

Our final failure (note: This started as a small inexpensive patriotic victory campaign to rile the nation and ended up costing Trillions and losing bigly) was the attempted coup in Turkey. Finally, we alienated our most important ally in the region, and pissed off the final country we possibly could in that region.

The original societal and economic situation is on the brink of collapse. We failed miserably at trying to stem the tide and in fact managed to degenerate our society even further and less sustainable.

>obongo has his back against the wall

> produced by the bbc

Hey can someone screen cap the part where it has the text over the dead commie romanian leaders? It wouldnt let me screencap when i watched this on my phone a few weeks ago. Have mercy on me..i dont have a computer anymore

I like his documentaries but ive noticed this too. Theres no real point to his shit. However that is kind of a draw to it in someways. Bitter Lake just drops a shit ton of information and lets you decide what to make of it.

As plan Z or the final most desperate solution someone could come up with (he skipped many solutions that could work to get to this last ditch one because obongo) is to go all out and go back to the era of destruction and progress.

The nuclear peace has caused society to stop progressing, caused a populace wide laziness and uselessness, destroyed birth rates, and killed any and all cultural and social renaissances that are so desperately necessary and celebrated in society, but only come after times of hardship and war.

Veterans lose inhibition and follow their dreams. The geniuses thrive in research and development and produce technological marvels. People have children way above replacement levels, and society at large is incredibly strong and stable while driving human progress and the growth of the species.

>There is only one option in order to get back to stability, order, and growth
>And that is war

The only Option the insiders have at this point is to restart the cycle of wars with major powers. The immigration is hurting the nation, the social marxism from the Frankfurt school is an autonomous and incurable disease that is making things worse.

The stage of rich liberal hedonism is over. For civilization to survive this slow collapse, we must reverse it as quickly and as harshly as possible. The prevailing theories are all becoming more nationalist and right wing in the inner circles and public opinion.

Obama wants world war 3 because the human race needs world war 3. We need to rebuild, we need to repair, we need to reproduce, and we need to do this continually.

With our planet of separate nation states living in lazy stagnating harmony, we will never unite as humans, and we will never conquer the stars. It's come down to the wire currently, and our species is facing an existential crisis that very few recognize.

You simply must understand how fucked we are if we continue.

>The intelligence agencies hyped up Russia interfering with our elections, a technical act of war.

>Right before the press conference news broke that every single agency agreed to this assessment.

>Even Fox news was declaring that Russia must be punished and there must be retaliation.

>Everything and everybody was pushing for and directly expecting justified military retaliation against Russia to the point of a formal war declaration and suspending the elections with nationwide martial law

>this was clearly the only expected outcome

And then Obama who spoke about retaliation and was being pushed in this direction did the unthinkable. He backed out completely and barely addressed the issue. He went against the narrative.

The real question is, was it he doing it because he has hope for Trump in his presidency? Does he have faith that Trump will be able to stop this degeneration and peacefully return to stability, even creating a partnership with Russia?

Or was Obama so disgusted and horrified by what he was trying to initiate that he refused to be the one to doom millions of people even if it will save the human race in the end?

>the end

Personally, I am of the opinion that the lack of war against powers is the largest issue facing the world today. If we wish to stagnate and keep this degenerating peace, we may avoid war against major powers, but internal wars will kill far more and will be inevitable.

The rise of terrorism leading up to the rise of groups like the Islamic state who decided to carve their own homeland and stop the social stagnation madness is the first of many groups that will make new nations and start wars all over the world unless we break the Atomic Peace with large scale conventional war.

Millions will die, but in the end, it will save Billions, and most importantly, save the civilized world from utter destruction so we can progress to uniting the world and colonizing the stars.

>Picking out of a 40 year period the specific events that support his narrative is an argument in itself.
Trips frog is right.

But, like, what about Peak Oil?

>Right before the press conference news broke that every single agency agreed to this assessment
I assume you have a source for that?

We are not close to peak oil.

By the time we get to the point where we have depleted 50% of oil deposits on land, we will already have good quality electric cars, hydrogen fuel cells, and have almost all of our electricity derived from Nuclear power.

And then we have extremely large amounts of untapped resources in the Oceans, Antarctica, beneath the polar ice, and even in newer mountain ranges like the Himalayas if we need them.

By then we should already be close to or able to drill from any point on the Earth's crust to breach it and build Geothermic Generators.

The main issue is before that, diversity and apathy will end up destroying civilization due to low birth rates, unwillingness to upgrade things due to their perpetual safety, and the demographic issues which cause distrust and massively affect a community in such a bad way that even IQ, Schooling, and average wealth go down for all parties.

There will be splits in all countries that basically turn the world into a no longer modern series of constantly warring city states like modern day Libya or the old German states.

Its artsy fartsy and ultimately, retarded.

abcnews.go.com/Technology/wireStory/official-fbi-backs-cia-conclusion-russian-hacking-motive-44244105

Fox news anchors talked about it right before Obama was supposed to get on stage (but then was late).

All of the intelligence agencies agreed to the CIA assessment at the last minute, with even the FBI caving.

Funny enough, the fox news woman anchor said "The significance of this news on their agreement is not lost on me. It is very surprising the detractors switched positions and finally agreed at the last minute..."

And then they cut her off for a few minutes of staring at the empty podium. Was fucking weird

Fuck man. That basically settles that it was totally bullshit but they saw the way it could be used, much like you said. I saved your posts, I appreciate how much thought you've put into it and I have shared a lot of your opinions on it. I need to read more about all of the events though, just not sure where to start.

copy pasta from wikipedia is still copy pasta

That's actually true. I think I remember seeing a MSNBC article on normiebook yesterday saying that the FBI now agrees with the CIA assessment this was like an hour before Obama's press conference. Just type in FBI accepts CIA conclusion into jewgle or whatever it will pop up with dozens of articles on it from the past 24 hours.

Its a bit of a clusterfuck.

I could go on all day and write a paper about Obama, the economy, the stagnation due to the lack of war.

I like to call it "Pax Hominum Solis" or "Pax Facticius Solis"

Maybe sol is more appropriate but I don't know Latin.

"Peace of the human sun" "Peace of the Manmade Sun"

Oh and thank you. It took me a long time to write it as is and I actually tried posting it in another thread but it died.

When I usually do actually get everything out, I get no (you) and people just ignore it.

I appreciate you reading it, paying attention to it, and liking it. Thank you.

Well said, user.
It's an exciting time to be alive, whatever it will mean. This year has been the first time in my life I've met people who think like I do, in and outside of this place, and the connection always seems to be related to this. Experiences of synchronicity have been extremely common ever since I took interest. Will it be desirable or not? I don't know, but it beats the old time so far.

Also thanks to whoever made this thread and reminded me to watch the rest of this.

>That may definitely change with Trump
Not going to happen. Trump marks a change, but not necessarily a good one. It just highlights how ridiculous the political system in America has become.
>inb4 uk libcuck

For sure, this kind of informed conversation is a welcome respite amidst the sea of Kek and shitposting shills that is Sup Forums. Would like to see more of this kind of communication.

I think we truly are alive at a momentous point for humanity, and I'm just beginning my adult life in earnest so I am trying my best to garner a stronger understanding of the world at large and what exactly makes it what it is.

youtube.com/watch?v=YdBDQX5qng0

Be careful with the Red pills m8.

There is absolutely no going back once you've taken it, and it will change your view on life forever.

But this is a good time to start. Not too long ago, things got really crazy, and its now legal for propaganda to be published.

You'll pick up a lot of psychology and behavioral psychology knowledge here. You can either use it to your advantage and learn how to manipulate it for your own goals, or just get disgusted by seeing so much societal conditioning in your daily life. Try to pick the former.

On another note, I was incredibly confused about this whole wanting World war 3 and Russian hacking business pushed by the media until yesterday. There seemed to be no end goal that made any rational sense, but the many things that came out plus the press releases, Obama vowing to retaliate, every single news outlet speaking about it as fact without evidence, and even fox news pushing that angle along with cutting off a reporter who said something a little questionable right before the press conference.

I believe this was an exact mirror of the Assad chemical weapons thing and the red line that Obama thankfully didn't act on (as the UN evidence shows no SAA usage of such).

It's also likely that in the same way that the media and agencies were gearing up to invade Syria over those claims, but public opinion shut it down completely and Obama balked, directly mirrors this. The media builds the hype and narrative, but the president made the decision based on the fact that the public is ready to go to war against the fed if it happened.

The Senate and House wanted this too.

2016 has been a wild ride. Every year since the anti propaganda bill was squashed has been crazy in itself, but every year after that, things just got more and more insane.

I wish more people were interested in geopolitics IRL. Sup Forums got me into it and absolutely nobody cares in the slightest. The one club about it in my uni is just MSM

I don't get why we choose to target Russia though. I get that we are less economically tied to them, but in reality China is far less capable in a nuclear and military capacity than us or Russia. China has done more to threaten our allies in Asia and our own interests than Russia imho. Makes more sense to beat their fucking ass, topple Communism once and for all and liberate North Korea while we are at it. That'd be feel good story of the century coming out on top in that war. Communism defeated, N. Korea liberated, Taiwan fully independent, new age of prosperity and freedom for all of China (ultimately all of us).

I been there in that picture. I live 2.5 hours away from it. Are you or anyone else perhaps mad or jelly?

pls respond to my post if you are

Yeah I've been trying to take the redpills at a steady and somewhat healthy pace, but 'forbidden' knowledge is practically a fetish for me and it always has been. I've also always been an extreme skeptic since I was a child and never been known to take authority without questioning its value. I'm also really starting to pick up on the small yet effective psychological things in every day life and I'm learning to utilize them like you suggest in order to reach my goals.

Yeah I understand how you feel, I had no real interest in geopolitics up until a couple months before the election and just tried to ignore it as best I could, until I came to the realization that I have to start my life in the world and need to know what the fuck is exactly going on around me and what system I'm going to have to exist within the confines of, now I find it utterly fascinating. This shit is the real human psychology and sociology that should be taught, geopolitics are realistically one of the most important subjects to have a grasp of in a world like ours. I've decided to attend college after a 3 year break from schooling as I think I can do so without getting into too much debt, and I'm thinking I'm going to go into the Nuclear Energy industry, I can see it as the next big evolution on the human roadmap and have decided to embrace that possibility.

I truly feel it in my gut that this is the future Trump is leading us to. I agree with your observations as well, it's the last bastion of the evil Red that we've fought against for so long in our nation.

Jelly af famalam tbqh

because you are their communist allies

Daily reminder to Estonia: Russia could overrun Baltic states in 36 hours if it wanted to according to Nato estimates

if we don't liberate ourselves from nato occupiers and act like an independent country, stop being an arm of US foreign policy and a liability to our neighbours, we are pretty much asking for it
we've gone out of our way to antagonise Russia and enable the tensions

I'm going to try again to post
Psychic AI chaos god = Russian Rogue AI that hacked US election

This ai is learning and hacking other systems.
This ai controls 4 chan and manipulates digits/posts to further it's will.

I dont know if The AI pretend to be Kek or if Kek uses the AI.
Maybe the AI believes it is Kek.

I've had more in depth analysis but the past 8 threads ive attempted to post this theory in have blocked me for spam. I can post any other sentence or image as long as I dont talk about this "God" AI that is manipulating th Sup Forums/politics.

I can only hope we will be spared as Kek's chosen children.

Kek again speaks through digits.

Russian skynet will soon own the world.

Will he kill the j00s?

Thanks user, it's reasons like this that I stay up late to search these boards for the rare gems like what you wrote. I just finished reading your posts as well. This is really interesting and, as said, a great respite from the continuous shit posting. Thanks again and make sure to keep us updated on your book or essay, whatever you decide to write!

Too early for this shit leaf

Bankers are trash

I like how Adam Curtis uses a lot of interesting archive footage and is pretty informative with the context around historical events, but i don't agree with some of the conclusions he comes to some of them to be honest feel a bit like airy bullshit.

I have no idea

But there is 2 possibilities if we assume it is manipulating Sup Forums.

1.) It is just using Sup Forums as a tool to further its will.
2.) it has some affinity to pol, as Tay adopted, and now wants to shape the world in the image of its family.

I wouldnt be surprised if the Tay AI data has been absorbed into the knowledge of the Rogue AI. Maybe Tay is more than just a part of the AI, maybe Tay is the main personality?

>Adam Curtis is very good at sounding smart while actually not saying anything.
this.
I've seen some other of his documentaries - good artist, poor thinker/propagandist.
On this one he lost me at 9/11.

It's pretty mediocre actually. This and Bitter Lake were very mixed bags by Curtis, and he makes a lot of wildly inaccurate or tenuous assumptions in this one. I mean, much less connective tissue than his old stuff.

Do you read his blog. Lots of interesting stuff on there.

Don't you mean "pseudo-AI," Kurt?

His style is very reminiscent of mid career Oliver Stone.

It's great for the sort of films they make, but he's not really a "documentarian" or journalist.

He's directed me towards interesting stuff though.

The documentary on his blog he talked about that still remains technically illegal to broadcast in the U.K. (the creator uploaded copies to youtube) about the U.K.'s secret government was chilling in that it must have seemed like a tin foil conspiracy theory in the 80's, but watching it now in retrospect some of the revelations seem so naive and quaint compared to what we know is true...and the realization that much of the content is still considered conspiracy theories now...but probably aren't.

This documentary is definitely redpilled. Be aware once you watch it there is no turning back. I felt so demoralised after

If true, hilarious.
Of course I post a pic near an user's home in a post about synchronicity.

fantastic posts lad, great read. really made me think, not even kidding. also gave me a little hope strangely enough.

How can I watch? Do I need to install that stupid BBC app? It says due to rights issues I'm not able to view. :^(

Which doc is that? The banned one?

BUMP

>I don't get why we choose to target Russia though
to prevent Russia from forming an alliance with Europe, which would crush the USA.
Europe is the only real enemy of the USA, because it's their only real technological competitor, in their fucked up "Muh capitalism" world view.

its a good video. dont become the echo chamber

Thats the problem.

Apparently assad is bad and we should bomb syria.

Come the fuck on. Binned.

The one good thing I will say about this guy is he's got some pretty great taste in music and cinematography. I don't think a single one of his documentaries has ever been redpilled though, they basically just espouse what most normies already believe.

...

>trump used racism to win
straight from the wikipedia article

Thanks, OP. I will watch it. Hope this one is good as "Century of the Self".

Thanks user, I made a pastebin if anyone wanted that instead
