Sup Forums is still very much pro civil liberty and limited government in the sense that most of Sup Forums just wants to be left alone.
The problem is that liberalism/minarchism is an ideal state and if Sup Forums were to adopt that stance it would simply be taxed for the unproductive, have its social rights stripped to give some sort of false social protection, and then lose again in twenty years when their countries are filled with minorities that will vote socialist anyway.
