The polls were wrong. They don't just look at the aggregate popular vote, they look at it in each state. The polls showed Hillary winning the Michigan popular vote and she didn't. It also seems to be the case that there were actually more votes than voters in Wayne County (Where Hillary won significantly).

If polls can't be wrong then they can't be right. The point of a poll is to try and predict the outcome of an election. If a poll is inaccurate to the actual results of an election then it's fair to call it "wrong." Not a single poll showed Trump leading in Wisconsin.
