Jobs.
This whole board is made of salty motherfuckers who don't have jobs. Yall wouldn't be fucking talking about not getting pussy if you didn't live with your fucking parents.

what do you want from me

im a full time student, i can either work part time at some shitty hospitality place and spend all that money on renting some shithole out like i did after highschool

or i can stay a fulltime student, stay at home (because my parents actually love me) and save all my money

Stop telling them "it gets better"

...

I have a job and don't live with my parents, still don't get pussy.

Kill boomers, get the rent down.

>tfw your parents trick you into coming out of the basement and ambush you

Firstly, people are living with their parents because owning a home in a debt driven economy is difficult.

Secondly, the epidemic of NEETs needs the fact that millennials are more likely to have a tertiary degree than other generations into account. Then, the question must be asked why they're employed. Did they choose a degree that didn't teach marketable skills, or are they STEM graduates and the wrong race or gender to fit with gen X's ridiculous """positive""" action idea that instead crashed standards and peaked youth unemployment levels to great depression levels.

fix my credit and let me buy a house. problem solved.

How about you stop thinking that it's strange for families to live together?

It's only in the last decade or so that families here in rural wales picked up on this "The kids are teenagers now so fuck you get out of my house" thing you all seem to have going on and don't pretend like it's always been that way with you either.

It's just the housing market jews getting more money from you, think about it, what's better than four people living in one house?

Four people living in four houses, paying the bills four times!

Modern world is destroying the neets not the other way around. We don't care about your shitty world. If you want our help with your shittiness you cannot have it on your terms because your terms are wrong. We do not answer to you and if you expect us to then you need to understand that your expectation is why we stand apart from you. When the world respects us enough to give us what we need to be happy we will respect the world. If you're gonna tell me that's not gonna happened then you are creating the reason for my avoidance. Enough said.

Create jobs.
Build affordable housing.

Yeah because what we really need to do is buy overpriced housing propped up by foreign investment.

Make a 1 bedroom house not cost 6 figures outside of bumblefuck nowhere.

I am 23 and I still live with my parents.

more

Fucking odd poster.

I've been living with my parents for the last 6 years after graduating with a worthless degree in psychology. Not making it up. No job. Nothing. The reason I'm going on year 7 is because it's easy. If my parents kicked me out, then who knows what would happen? I'd get a job? Maybe. But they're too nice, so I'm not getting kicked out. Also there's anxiety and depression bullshit holding me back. I'm a walking meme target. Go ahead take your shots.

>tfw neet masterrace

I'm not living with my parents and I'm married. All muslims need to die, all niggers need to die.

How about you grow up the fuck up and deal with it?

>psychology
lol

This, confirmed by doubles.

>says the man demanding people move out of their parents houses

Because the cost of living and housing isn't what it used to be and it's impossible to survive with 90% of jobs.
I work full time and still live with my parents because I'm not fucking stupid.

>anxiety and depression
The fact you live at home and have nothing in your life to be proud of sure is helping.

A lot of people are "depressed" and you can make bucks off them. There's lots of money to be had, just figure something out man.

I believe most of them want to move out, but at the same time dont want to become debt slave of mr. Shekelstein or rent slave of mr. Noseberg. Fix your prices for the living space, faggots.

>90% of jobs

The median income in America is around $50,000.

That's more than enough to live on your own.

>This whole board is made of salty motherfuckers who don't have jobs.
No, it's full of children who aren't old enough to work.

Depends on the city you live in but in hellholes most of your paycheck goes to rent if you want to move out.

Lol bitch as an adult the way I'm dealing with it is hurting you and you tell me to deal with it? I will and I hope you have to work harder because you couldn't respect the truth enough to treat me how I should be treated.

Speak for yourself, I write my age with a 3 in front.

>I've been living with my parents for the last 6 years after graduating with a worthless degree in psychology.

Only old people with lots of life experience should be getting degrees in psychology. Sorry you wasted your time and life didn't prepare you but you're an adult and it's all on you. Maybe go back and try again, you should have a lot of prerequisites cleared so it will only take you a couple years to get something useful.
I feel you bro I got an in demand STEM degree and it's balls hard finding a job even for that - hang in there.
In these past 7 years you could've gotten some IT certs or learned a few software development languages and filled up a portfolio both of which could've led to steady paying jobs.

You have only your self to blame.

Remove women's rights, make it illegal to outsource labor, revoke ALL rights to the SJWlikes.

Whats the cutoff age for neets? What about those living at home but in college or working full time?

So 3?

>work most of the week
>make just enough to pay for rent
>congratulations, you are living to pay your landlord

Yippy yahoo, I can't wait to move out!

Kys you sociopathic fuck

I live with my dad because he's an old man and I'm going to inherit the house anyway.

Seems like a stupid move to pay rent for a couple of years when I could save that money for home renovations when the deed comes into my name.

I have a well paying job and a gf btw

>The median income in America is around $50,000.

median household income =/= median income.

You literally rambled about nothing except how "the world" is treating you. You are not special. You are not guaranteed to be happy. No one gives a fuck about your feelings, only that you are a constant disappointment to your parents. How about you deal with it like everyone else, go work, and make something of yourself except a useless lump of shit slowly decaying in a basement somewhere?

If you're a student then you're not a fucking neet.

A lot of them aren't NEETs, the economy is so shit now even working millennials have no choice but to live at home because even their parents need help.

Fun Fact: I cant speak for other countries but here in the US there is this amazingly dumb thing where a majority of college grads all want to live in major cities. Since they don't understand supply and demand they dont realize that if everyone tries to live in the same place that will cause prices and cost of living to skyrocket.

Meanwhile, in other parts of the country there are houses selling for $150K which is quite affordable.

Also the fact that young people arent getting married doesn't help either. Cause instead of having 1 family of 2, with shared expenses and a combined income we have 1 person trying to live on their own with a single income.

(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_B._Calhoun#Mouse_experiments)

In July 1968 four pairs of mice were introduced into the habitat. There was no shortage of food or water or nesting material. There were no predators.

The last surviving birth was on day 600, bringing the total population to a mere 2200 mice... This period between day 315 and day 600 saw a breakdown in social structure and in normal social behavior. Among the aberrations in behavior were the following: expulsion of young before weaning was complete, wounding of young, increase in homosexual behavior, inability of dominant males to maintain the defense of their territory and females, aggressive behavior of females, passivity of non-dominant males with increased attacks on each other which were not defended against. After day 600, the social breakdown continued and the population declined toward extinction. Their male counterparts withdrew completely, never engaging in courtship or fighting. They ate, drank, slept, and groomed themselves – all solitary pursuits. Sleek, healthy coats and an absence of scars characterized these males. They were dubbed "the beautiful ones." Breeding never resumed and behavior patterns were permanently changed.

...when all available space is taken and all social roles filled, competition and the stresses experienced by the individuals will result in a total breakdown in complex social behaviors, ultimately resulting in the demise of the population.

Calhoun saw the fate of the population of mice as a metaphor for the potential fate of man. He characterized the social breakdown as a "second death,” with reference to the “second death” mentioned in the Biblical book of Revelation 2:11. His study has been cited by writers such as Bill Perkins as a warning of the dangers of the living in an "increasingly crowded and impersonal world."

>Breeding never resumed

If you're in college or working, you're not a NEET.

Welcome to the real world. Either you're living to pay your landlord, living to pay your mortgage, or living to be a leech of your parents.

I live in the middle of nowhere and my friends who've moved out talk about working 2-3 jobs and barely getting by with rent and bills and have 0 free time to themselves, with some of them working jobs AND going to school. One of my coworkers also worked at a Hotel AND did Uber on the side and talked about how he had no social life whatsoever. They're literally killing themselves to make ends meet. How can these baby boomers, who were born in the economic height of America, honestly be surprised young people are staying at home? My mom was a single mother who worked a single shitty factory job and was able to buy a car, a house, and feed 2 kids. Times aren't what they were.

you think everyone is making 50,000.

...

If no one is buying property will prices decrease until people start buying again?

...

This

Or I can be like my degenerate highschool friends who dropped out of college to be waitors and retail cucks.

Sure they all are making bank and have apartments but they gave up on education meanwhile I graduated with an AA debt free and will graduate with a bachelor's in 2 years. Fuck off I'm only 21 for Christ sake

What if I live with my parents and have a job? These aren't mutually exclusive

...

Yeah but people here tell me I am a bad person if I am living at home at all, even during college or shortly after when I have a job and help to pay rent/utilities.

Sup Forums has an odd obsession with making sure the little guy is squeezed of everything he could possibly contribute. Whether that be men in regards to women. The poor and young in regards to their elders. It all ends up being SACRIFICE FOR THE GOOD OF... society I guess? What do you get in return? Nothing, it's called a sacrifice for a reason. You don't like that? Grow up! Man up!

Sup Forums is like a fucking nagging housewife who needs to shut the fuck up and learn to give out once and a while.

I'm 33 and live with my gf's parents and pay $700 monthly for a room.

Rent is nearly a grand for a one bedroom. I've been homeless before, so I can't complain about my dwelling.

-Build more houses
-Remove useless majors from Uni curriculums
-Enstate numerus fixus procedures for all majors
-Obligate employers to train on the job, ensuring upward mobility
-Stop immigration
-Assess base competencies of people on welfare, put them to work, pay them for said work, offer them job at said work
-Encourage entrepeneurship

I could go on for days like this. The solution isn't hard. It's just not what leftists want. They thought they could create their socialist utopia in the post-war boom, and now that it has run out of steam, they're enforcing it with a desperate iron fist.

In this regard, it's best to be an unironical Nazi. Because Nazi Germany pulled itself out of a worse slump in five years. The EU has been in crisis for twice as long. I used to buy into the commie slander that all SA men were unemployed losers, but since I have increased my historical awareness, I know WHY they were unemployed losers. Because the socialist cunts ran their country into the ground, and all it took was one goddamn failed painter to set it right again. Those SA men just needed something to be proud of, something to fight for. A community. Which is exactly what socialists always try to deny their enemies.

Yes, it's called a bubble popping. Prices will go down to nothing, then raise quickly over a short period of time (this is called correction). After that, prices will reach the actual value of the house, not the inflated values that are currently used.

For starters, bring the manufacturing jobs back.

Sweet, can't wait for these old fucks to die, there's going to be a shit ton of empty houses.

>Welcome to the real world. Either you're living to pay your landlord, living to pay your mortgage, or living to be a leech of your parents.

How dare you enjoy a better position in life than us! SUFFER LIKE WE DO FOR NO GAIN! CRABS IN A BUCKET! REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Get a fucking grip, you're basically telling people who have a choice between something good and bad to choose the bad because you didn't have the choice. You have severe autism and are a bitter loser.

the economy is shit and you want to blame the kids? fuck off.

>I'm not going to participate in society until they give me everything I want on a silver platter!
>Everything has to be done on MY TERMS!
>I won't respect anyone until they respect me!

White male entitlement: The Post.

Maybe people would respect you if you weren't a whiny, worthless piece of shit. Have you ever considered that?

Americans have this weird thing where it's socially unacceptable to stay at home past the very second you're allowed to be on your own. Of course this idea was implanted by the jews. In Europe, it's typically not like that. In some places (I think it's the case in Greece), even the opposite is expected (that you always live with your parents, with the house being expanded as the family grows).

I do have a job.
But I live with my mother, because there's enough room here and it's cheaper this way.
I've stockpiled about $15k so far this way.
I already have a plot of land I own where I plan to build a home for myself.
I would have done it much earlier, but today you need to spend ~25 years in education to be able to achieve anything. And that's ~25 years when you're hardly earning anything. So that causes delays in moving out.
Fuck, I would need 5x more savings to be able to buy an 2 room apartment in my city. And at least 10x more to be able to build a cheap small house. There is no way to get anywhere these days without saving a massive amount of money and then taking a huge loan that you're gonna be paying off for 30 or so years.
That's retarded.
A home shouldn't be this expensive.

So yeah. I could move out today, and rent a small apartment elsewhere. But even a cheap one with much worse living standard than my family home would mean that I'd have to be saving money 2 or 3 times longer to be able to move in to a home I own for good. And that's with taking on a huge ass debt to make it work anyway.

>Encourage entrepeneurship

I can tell you, entrepeneurship is difficult as fuck when you're below 30. Nobody takes you serious.

But what we really need is real jobs that don't require 15+ decades of experience. Not callcenter jobs. Not salesjobs that don't even pay unless you sell an x amount of subscriptions to senior citizens who can't say no. Real jobs.

>he thinks he's in a better position of life than me
I probably make twice as much as you after paying the bills, m8.

All I'm saying is, if you're 25 or older and you're not making at least $40k a year, you fucked up somewhere.

...

Don't forget that richfags outsiders (especially the chinese, and oil princes), love to buy properties in america. This also drives prices up.

See
Your vindictive entitlement is even worse than my evil white maleness. Not everyone needs to suffer like you do. Yeah, it's not fair; deal with it fucking commie.

Theres nothing good about being a leech even if its enjoyable to you. It'll haunt you later down the line with your lack of real world experience in communication, renting/bills, etc. People say their parents love them for coddling them into their 20s, but all they are doing is hurting them. You suffer early on because it builds character, and then after you gain the experience it becomes easier and you make more. Employers care far more today about experience than grades, so the whole concept of 'full time student' is silly now because its unnecessary compared to just studying a little and working on the side.

>I'm a walking meme target
i don't see no net

>How do we stop the epidemic of NEETs destroying the western world?

Fix the economy? The majority of people are living with their parents out of necessity.

>tfw only gross $25k annually working at Walmart for the past decade.

Supposedly thats how it would work but I think land owners are content to sit on the property being empty for a long time so their investment isn't wasted. If they have money to own property then they can live with nobody buying for a long time and with mass immigration there will be no end to the demand since everybody needs a home to live in.

You are however welcome to move to bumfuck nowhere and live there.

Catching that bubble once it pops every other decade is probably the way to go.

I suppose most of them are single? It's really hard for me to afford to live alone too but I manage. However my apartment is shitty, the heat falls down every now and then, mold on walls and if the neighbors below take a shower I have no warm water. If I doubled what I can put in rent, I'd have something way nicer.

>when the neighbors kids don't leave you the fuck alone

This

It's hard to get houses when governments keep moving immigrants into them.

Maybe make it so I don't have to break my fucking neck to pay for a house?

I could afford to live by myself, but why would I? I love my family, don't want to be lonely, and contribute hundreds of dollars on top of rent

So how do you mommy boys get laid?

When you bring the girl to your home, do you have to explain to her that you still live with your parents?

>median
>in a country where the top 1% are worth more than the bottom 90

well she usually lives with hers too.

>I don't understand the difference between average and median

This is why you still live with mommy

That's the whole point of using median instead of mean. Median accounts for that.

Yeah, and most don't care because they're also still living with their parents

Hey congrats dude, if it's worth the stress.

>Employers care far more today about experience than grades

Ah yes, so the difference between being a fry cook and a premium fry cook?

All entry level jobs are dead ends that really only tell any other employer that you can show up to work.

So no, you don't really get a big boost from starting out earlier when your future prospects were already dismal to begin with.

A dead end is a dead end no matter who early you start smooshing your face into the bricks.

Families living together is beneficial for the family unit's health.

My grandparents let my parents stay with them during the economic suppression in the 80's. Over the course of 20 years my parents and grandparents shared the expenses needed to upkeep a large home with more than 2 kids living in it. I never had babysitters that weren't my grandparents, who were very eager to teach me all they could while my parents worked. When my grandparents were old and retired my parents took the bulk of providing, basically flipflopping the economic dynamic of the household that my grandparents originally possessed. It made weathering the economic crash of the late 2000s manageable; we did manage to keep our home among a wash of failed mortgages around our neighborhood. Everyone had their own car that was paid for, fridge was always full of food, too.

I don't understand the meme about moving out except to strike some independence; to me it just seems like and excuse to break up a strong family unit under the guise of modern progressiveness.

You could build an apartment in my town that costs less than fucking $800 a month without utilities

>Doesn't drive his pickup truck to Makeout Point up in the hills.

Kids these days.

>have certs that are going on four years old now
>still have crippling anxiety and can't drive even though I live in a rural area

I've seen someone sell super tiny homes for 25k. Basically everything you need and looks like a garden shed
>inb4 cuck shed
I've been chucked by boomers and a 300% rise in population worldwide since the 50ies, disappearing manufacturing job so fuck yeah, cuckshed. At least it looks comfy.

is he wearing a pedobear shirt?

These are the types of people who want to get out of their parent's home ASAP and then stick them into a retirement home at first opportunity

I have a job, my own place and I still shitpost. What do?

Nah that bullshit, but neets believe it. Neets are unemployed because they assumed that getting the diploma meant they could stroll into the nearest establishment relevant to the field and get a job right out of college without realizing how important connections and experience is. They probably didn't take the time to meet people, connect to professors and employers during job fairs. They probably thought if they just make good grades it'll get them anywhere. In reality getting good grades in college outside of a few specific majors is incredibly easy, which is why employers don't give a shit if you made a 4.0 and Steve made a 3.0 because Steve actually worked part time at a similar job or internship and he gets hired. No job requires a 4.0 student because anything you need to know you'll learn immediately on site anyway.

This goes onto my second issue with jobs. People have impossibly high standards today coming out of college. They refuse to take jobs that are 'below' them or unrelated to their field. They refuse to apply for positions outside of their town, or god forbid out of state with phone interviews. If you want a job its out there, but you have to be willing to dedicate to it.
