Why do unions exist again?

why do unions exist again?

To supplement the 3 way corporations and the state are having with workers.

idk some commie bullshit

Collective bargaining.

Because you need bs middle management type jobs ever since women entered the labor force.

>tfw I marked a bowl of soup as tea

free market, anti-union people are useful idiots of the crony capitalist.

without the collective bargaining power, satan, the workers will be nothing more than slaves

Theoretically, collective bargaining.
However, ever since Unions became their own separately-run entity, not run by current workers of that industry, it became just another level of middle-management in the corporate power structure.
Some unions are okay run, like the food-workers' unions but others are garbage like the Teachers' union (specifically the Chicago one is really abhorrent)

Private unions exist to protect the rights of workers and make sure they can bargain for what they feel are fair wages, benefist, etc. for the work they do.
Public unions are garbage which reward people who work in already overly-safe and overly-compensated jobs and are a cancer which need to be purged.

Is that a joke? Just a few workers quitting for higher wages can crush a company.

Because labor is "special"

Is there a reason they shouldn't exist? Do you want to go back to the times of "Illegal Combination" and other stupid laws that would get you thrown in prison for even talking to your coworkers in any kind of cooperative manner?

Unions are natural in a free market, the only thing preventing their existence in all workplaces is the state.

Their existence is for good reason, it just makes it annoyingly hard for me to fire shitty employees with them always stepping in though

>Then
Unions existed to give workers some backbone against greedy corporations
>Now
Unions exist to protect the union. They are now the evil they sought to defend against.

So, when you're you want to renegotiate your compensation, you have to search for a man to do it for you?
Go to bed Nancy.

Problems with all "rights" movements is tyhe same - they dont have a finite goal, and thus will try to get more rights forever until society ostracises them into oblivion

>What is the labor market?

To create lazy commies faggots that actually they actually haven't work in life

Because the union bosses like making 500,000 doing less than the actual workers that pay dues

>Public unions are garbage which reward people who work in already overly-safe and overly-compensated jobs and are a cancer which need to be purged.

This. They need to be gassed. They're literally subhumans.

>the workers will be nothing more than slaves
Until they go to a competing company offering them more for their labor lmao
