Wow.

>Not being able to afford it

>make a machine purposely break down

Do you have proof of this?

>competitor produces superior product
>you're now going to the food shelter to feed your family

>what is planned obsolescence

>be communist
>machine breaks down not because it was designed to but because it's a piece of shit.
>contract state trained repairman
>breaks down again next day

Such is life

>someone would care enough to make sure this wouldn't happen in a communist system

What is Apple, Incorporated, Alex?

you clearly have never handled a soviet camera. Those things have no bells and whistles, but they're built like fucking tanks.

under capitalism this wouldnt happen because people would just buy things that didnt break intentionally instead of being forced to buy the same thing no matter what (communism, and your logic)

commies btfo try harder

> competitor produces a more expensive alternative to yours with a longer lifespan
> (ad infinitum)
> there is now a spectrum of quality/cost in which very long-lifespan items are exponentially more profitable proportional to the degree of planned obsolescence in the market
> you realize you're a retard and go make pizza rolls(TM)

>be competing company
>don't use this strategy
>your goods cost less to make as machines don't break.
>naturally consumers don't buy more expensive company's product.

user please read a book or at least think before taking a step into a brick wall as you just did.

Soviet most everything, except watches, their watches were kinda shit. The cars were shit too, but they were indestructible shit.

>what are left-wing conspiracy theories??

>what is a monopoly

>machine breaks down
>send it back for repair if under warranty or buy a competitor's machine instead

CAPITALISM IS BROKEN GUISE!!!

>what is competition
>what is the free marked
>what are laws
>what are warranties
>what stops me from buying the best product

>machine breaks down coincidentally three days after warranty runs out
WHOOPS COINKYDINK

>live in Hungary
>be hungry

monopolies cant exist in a free market
its just not possible naturally

1. Research what you buy and only buy from trusted brands.

2. Actually use warranties. No warranty? Don't buy that shit.

3. Don't buy fucking electronics from a retail chain like some old codger.

>what is planned obsolescence
A shitty business practice endorsed by the clueless, unwashed masses who seem perfectly fine with getting a new phone every six months or buying a car that will break down in two years. Planned obsolescence should be a total non-issue, unless you enjoy throwing money away for the sake of "convenience".

...

>Buys warranties or items with such a bad rep they need warranties.

"OOoooo we got us a bigunnn here Dobs!"

You mean like the Galaxy Note 7? When the battery would explode?
Yeah Samsung definitely came out ahead on that one.

> Be a competitor
> Make machines that don't break down as quickly
> People buy your machines instead of the ones that are shit and break down all the time
Huh

Let's see what happens under Communism:
> Government makes 1000 shitty tractors and gives them away one each to everyone
> Half of them break down in the first year
> No way to get another
> No way to harvest food
> Die

I love that my buddle had his Macbook Pro all through college and since we graduated. 8yrs of daily use with no issues.

The only retards that think Apple does planned obsolescence are the idiots that can't stop breaking their cell phones and need the latest bullshit every year.

And I say that as someone that hates apple for the god awful marketing and place as a status symbol in leftist waves.

If it doesn't work you don't have to buy it fuckface

Well, except for infrastructure. It's far too expensive for a competitor to get a foothold, and as such all infrastructure should be public. Will it be a little bit worse? Yes, because nobody fucks up quite like the government. However, the prices are going to be a hell of a lot better, and they'll be a lot fairer too.

why do you buy such a product then? buy a different one from different producer

OP BTFO
my post best post
/thread

now fuck off back to leftypol

>use the spare parts from one part to fix the other
>be a good goy and buy the tractor from ™ from Schlomo Autos
>be buttfucked when need to repair it by paying premium price for parts and labour

...

You are legitimately a retard if you think that's how it happens. And even you do, the solution is obvious to anyone who isn't a brain-dead socialist: go into business making long-life products, sell to everyone, make a bundle.

Just don't make the government a private company like we did, instant monopoly with no incentive to improve, suddenly we have shit internet.

so more able competitors take over

where is supposed to be the problem exactly?

If you call you're own post best post, it's probably not the best post czech yourself before you wreck yourself mate.

heard this is how modern car industry operate

>be in australia
>be autistic

how is the customer going to know the difference between your brand and the other brands then retard?

...

however, these pretty digits redeem me and confirm the best post

>Capitalism
>Political system
It's an economic system you drooling retard

this always happens.

It's gotten to the point where for many, many purchases I don't bother buying a warranty. I save money and it never breaks before then.

EVERY time I have encountered an issue, the warranty expired like two weeks before max.

Capitalism isnt a political system retard. its just how gommies call reality in constrast to their silly delusions

Just a reminder there is no evidence of any company implementing planned obsolescence.

What is Standard Oil?

I recently realized this with cars, if they simply made the car fully equipped and perfected then they wouldn't be able to make the next year version of the car and make more money, the person would buy that car and be happy with it for a long time. Apple does the same thing, its sad really; annual releases for products should be banned as it is obvious business corruption for customers.

>Start competing company that builds same thing that doesn't break down and charges same (or even higher!) price
>make fat stacks

or

>shitpost on Sup Forums about how you deserve more money
>no one gives it to you because you're a worthless sack of shit and the world would be a better place if you were dead

Apple Computer, Inc.

if you're enough of a good goy to still be buying apple products then you deserve to be getting fucked in the ass by the ghost of steve jobs

>no evidence
Epson printer ink cartridges that have chips in them that disable printing after a predetermined number of pages despite still being 40% full of ink.
