The emails did influence the elections because they were genuine windows into Hillary/Democrats' corruption.
Whether Russia did it or not is totally unproven and not even at a "Iraq has nukes!!" level of proof yet.
Trump is businessman who believes getting along with other countries and staying out of each others' business is the best way forward for world peace and prosperity. While it is true that the Russians, Chinese, and several other state actors hacked Hillary's email server and accessed the information on it, the only emails the public have from Hillary Clinton's accounts are released officially by the US Government (FBI).
There is zero proof that any of the emails actually effected the Democrat vote. Hillary Clinton beat the estimates of the poles by 0.2%. It is Trump's vote that was underestimated by the polling companies. Either people lied to them, or they didn't model the pro-Republican/anti-Hillary voting base very well.

I predict that China and Russia will use the Trump (and by extension, the US) to weaken both the US and each other such that they (China vs Russia) become stronger by our and each other's loss.
The issue is that Trump is an idiot and that makes him easy to manipulate since he rarely realizes its happening himself and he responds to the same stimuli in the same way, without recognizing the pattern of it.
Since Trump is turning out to be as much of a kike as Hillary, I'd have taken her or Rubio or even Cruz honestly at this point (Cruz is supposedly some sort of genius in terms of law) since we'd have someone looking out for a portion of the US at least.
