Americans please explain why Obangocare is bad? And what would be your ideal solution for your healthcare? And what is Trump's healthcare plan?

Because you're forced to pay for the same shit coverage and huge deductibles.

huge deductibles for people that already cant afford it.

the solution is to get a fucking job and stop expecting the govt to take care of you. anyone with a decent job in the usa get health insurance from their employer. I pay like $50/month for good health care.

the only people bitching are the worthless, waste of space people working at mcdonalds at 40 years of age.

also, my sister and her husband paid like $80 when their kid was born a month ago because they have insurance from their employer...because they arent worthless sacks of shit.

Unlike us who had hospitals by by the gov for this purpose, the US basically only has for profit hospitals so they dont change their price regardless of who pays. They need to either buy up a majority share in hospitals and make them run for the people or build their own ones.

because its socialism
you work on parasites who dont want work and leech money from these who work hard

I have VA healthcare

My wife can give birth at the VA for free

Eat shit civvies

you cant be redpilled if you're a wage slave
this

i would say everyone should get a UBI and part of that should be healthcare.

>I pay like $50/month for good health care.
This. I pay $46 and my employer pays the rest.

It literally only passed the supreme court because they categorized as a tax. It's a tax on the healthy.

They lied to get support for it, they wrote in an exception for themselves so they don't have to use it, and had to dramatically raise the fine for not taking part to force more people to participate because so many people know how shit it is.

Also OP don't you have laws where if someone sues someone the loser pays? Half the cost of our healthcare is malpractice insurance.

It created the precedent of the government FORCING people to buy a product or service. If you couldn't afford health coverage before, you likely still can't afford it after. Except now you'll get fined if you don't buy insurance... for the same amount it'd cost to buy the insurance. Can't pay that? Enjoy getting assfucked by the law.

You want to fix the US health care system? Allow people to buy across state lines. Suddenly you'll have a lot more competition and rates will go down.

>childbirth without the NHS
>and with a deeply lobbied corrupt hospital system instead

neither system is healthy at the moment but high bills beats waiting times. one is money (protip: get a job and live within your means) and the other is drawn out suffering

Its not really so bad. With a couple easy (but politically difficult) fixes, it could be a well functioning health system.
Trump has no plan. republicans have no plan. Should be interesting to see what they do after the 'repeal' part of repeal and replace.

You must be one of those fleas feeding off what the healthy and successful are forced to pay.

actually, I am quite successful. I get no subsidies on healthcare or anything else. Just havent bought into the GOP hysteria over this.

>Allow people to buy across state lines

boggles my mind that so many things are restricted by state

such an economically retarded idea

We're only paying for Muslims to outbreed us anyway.
Thanks NHS.

In 2013 I paid ~650 for my high deductible plan

This year I will pay ~1200 for a medium deductible plan that also has vision and maternity for some fucking reason

Guess which one I liked more

Reminder that the whole state lines nonsense is a load of horse shit. Its not federally illegal now for insurers to do this. But the (dumb) way healthcare insurance works in this country, where insurers make deals with healthcare providers, there is no will to actually do this. States have had the ability to 'band together' to make a common insurance region and NOT ONE FUCKING state has done this and not one fucking insurance company has shown any desire to do so either.

Depends on who you are. As a single individual that makes around 2000 a month freelancing from home, it's ideal. After a subsidy, I paid 22 dollars a month for my insurance last year and will pay about 26 a month this year using the new plan I chose.

"hysteria" yeah ok jew

No one else gonna notice the guy bragging about how great the VA is?

Enjoy your abortion.

The fact that you can be poor, but still too rich for Obamacare...

>hysteria
I stand by my statement

Fucking parasite

Of course you do, you're retarded.

>The VA is great guise trust me

1. Service quality of healthcare has decreased, and most of us have all ended up paying twice what we used to pay before Obamacare went into effect. I went from paying $1000/month for awesome coverage for my wife and I to $2100/month 7 years later for lesser care. Changed plans and now I'm back to $1000/month but my deductible is higher than before, so even though I now pay the original price, I still came out behind.

2. Ideal solution is better interstate competition and not allowing collusion between hospitals and insurance companies to greatly overinflate value of services charged (i.e., charging $20 for 6 aspirin while staying in the hospital overnight)

3. Trump's plan calls for better interstate competition as needed. Hopefully it will work in something that keeps over-inflation of pricing in check as well.

Any more questions?

The solution is nationalize the insurance companies.

I forgot to mention, my deductible was only 650 dollars. Had my gall bladder removed and only paid for about 10 percent of the cost out of pocket. Shit was cash as fuck.

I was born at home. No vaccinations and no circumcision. It too, was free.

see

Umm ... can I get fries with that user?

>Reducing the number of useless old people.

How is this a bad thing?

What do you think happens when someone files bankruptcy over their medical debt?

The hospitals just push the costs off onto the insurance companies, making your monthly payments higher

based russia with the answer

retards like are just as bad as obamacare liberals, thinking there is some bandaid solution to corrupt to the core insurance companies.

You're retarded, I'm a Machinist and I pay like $35/mo

for sure

or create a govt healthcare provider that sells premiums less than it's competators to control price

or legislate for single-payer state healthcare where companies compete for contracts from the states driving down costs for the state which is covered by tax

the NHS is pretty good i must admit and it's not a massive bureaucratic nightmare (just a big one) and it's not like the govt are destroying your freedom with national free healthcare coverage

the real problem with 1st world healthcare is obesity, smoking, alcohol & dementia

Sir, please wait your turn. I'm trying to place an order with user.

tell me about your NHS bong how good is it and why it isn't setup to fail in the future. I'll wait...

We have an insurance system, those who pay insurance never have those huge bills (only faggots who decide they'd rather have an iphone than health coverage don't) we are all about choice in the US. Also looking at our government programs they are super inefficient and slow,(for example social security) so why would the average American want a system where they pay more but get less out of it? The ACA makes normal people even low-income people pay way more than they were before and is also causing doctors to be paid less. it is a horrifically bad system.

because Obama is a faggot that took anal from the Saudis

for the last time, socialist healthcare works in a small and largely homogenous populace

when you take one of these 2 requirements away you will begin to notice the cracks

see: UK healthcare and it is a rising issue in Canada as well

it will fail if we don't stop people smoking, drinking & eating too much

if dimentia is cured too it will be quite easy to maintain.

the vast cost of all healthcare is obesity + smoking/drinking-related illnesses and caring for the infirmed

malpractice is much lower, drug costs are SO much lower, staff fees are lower, running costs lower, avg quality of care better, etc...

our current government is too incompetent for that. we need to force the federal reserve into transparency and get our spending and debts under control first.

All government officials are exempt from it. If they weren't, maybe I'd trust it more.

Why have a kid if you can't even afford a health insurance?

what you get for 1776

if you were smart like nz, canada & aus it would be ok

I'd rather have expensive healthcare than subsidize muslims and other poor people to have more kids.

it was a far better system before it was forced upon us be king nigger and dumb dem disciples

you ever take the bus and see some mom with multiple kids in tow?

shit blows my mind

>lemee just get knocked up 3 times before saving up enough to buy a fucking vehicle

That's retarded, you're retarded.

Smoking and obesity cost a fuckton up front, sure, but the care required for them is relatively low cost by the time the person dies. A fat person gets heart disease, diabetes, etc., they get insulin and some shit to make them feel less shitty until their heart gives way. A smoker chips so much of their life away and that's that.

Meanwhile, a healthy person grows old and gets some form of cancer or somesuch that is astronomically more expensive to treat, and despite costing less until that point, they ultimately cost more.

Because it's illegal and was only allowed to exist because long nigger threatened justice Roberts with the media to tarnish his reputation of he didn't abide

those are just our proxies now tho. their second-rate healthcare is a meme to the non-poorfags here

It's a retarded mix of private and socialized healthcare.
Burgers already pay more per capita than any other country in the world so and they can't socialize it because politics.

you're retarded dude. Diabetes is tremendously expensive...especially the way its treated in this country. And lung cancer aint cheap either, neither is emphysema

>smoking doesn't cause cancer
>eating large portions of greasy fatty meats doesn't cause cancer
>t.retard

Forget about insurance and taxes. How can a hospital charge 42k on child birth? How can a few nights with a room and bed cost 10K? Room and bed should be the cheapest thing on the lest. A super luxurious hotel room should be a few 100 dollars a night. How can a hospital room be 10k?

Doesn't the USA overall pay more for health per person anyway? The health sector is getting their money, more than they should. I am not sure this is about getting wealthier people to pay for poor peoples health. I think this should be more about hospitals not charging ridiculous fees.

Can someone explain me this instead of taxes and shit?

>Obamacare takes effect
>My insurance rates go up 20%
>My coverage actually drops slightly
>Family insurance plans at my company go up 40% starting this year
>Deductibles in most insurance now way higher

Honestly it helped some people, but it hurt just as many if not more. It was a rushed plan that was never well developed. Democrats didn't care if it was good because they could push it through anyways and claim credit for healthcare reform, and republicans didn't care because they knew they would just repeal it as soon as they got a chance.

Yeah, socialism really fixes everything, right?

You faggots who think "when things go wrong, give full control to the government!" need to be gassed before you can spread your retardation on to a new generation.

Btw, have family that worked in insurance for the past 50 years. I might just know a few things you don't, but sure, they're more corrupt than the government, you must be so totally right and we must go socialist now!

Dumbfucks.

Based leaf.

This logic escapes the leftist retards.

it was just a rouse pulled off by insurance kikes and obongo

My dad had cancer treatment through the va
Like socialized medicine countries, serious care was fine, but he couldn't get an appointment outside of that.
That's the biggest issue, all the smaller stuff gets put off until its an emergency.
Not good for the patient.

>Because you're forced to pay for the same shit coverage and huge deductibles.

And under Trumpcare you get the same thing only less coverage.

Does Obamacare cover circumcision?

guy with bad scoliosis/kyphosis/ and other spine condition here. its not just obango care its all health care, they want you to get special health insurance for each type of fucking doctor there is, ive been rejected before telling me that you need to get this insurance to get seen, our health care system is pure fucking commieism

I think you mean "ruse".

Most people not buying health insurance are young, healthy men and illegal immigrants. Anyone who thinks they'll need health insurance and has a decent job can get it through their place of work. Anyone who thinks they'll need health insurance and doesn't have a decent job can get it subsidized through Medicaid.

Obamacare forces people to buy health insurance who would otherwise not want to buy health insurance or pay a fine ("tax"). At the same time, it forces insurers into tightly confined coverage options, significantly increasing prices for people who did want health insurance and already had it.

Yes, with no out of pocket payment.

>How can a hospital charge 42k on child birth? How can a few nights with a room and bed cost 10K?

Like I said, it's shitty collusion between hospitals who charge extreme amounts (in some regard, to offset the abuse of "free" care for nigs and illegals who don't pay their bills and take up vast resources, but that's a different discussion) and the insurance agencies who facilitate this and just pass the costs on to the rest of us via higher premiums.

It's one rare circumstance where I wouldn't actually mind some degree of TEMPORARY regulation in order to get a better balance, or, that there's incentive for new companies to come in and do right by the people they insure, but as to HOW to make it al work perfectly, I'm not the guy to ask. Shit is definitely complicated, far more than the TURN IT ALL OVER TO THE STATE retards keep talking.

This.

Get a decent job and you get healthcare. I had a job that offered health insurance at 18 when I was fresh out of high school. Now I pay under $40/month for solid coverage.

Literally every single person I know who used Obamacare is working a minimum wage job and not trying to better themselves by looking for better work. One of them literally told me, "I can afford to live with a roommate with my $10/hr so I think I'm doing pretty well." This was after I asked why she doesn't apply for better jobs considering she had a degree and put herself $40k in debt for it, but then just became a janitor. They don't want to work, they want handouts.

>not realizing in the US some people literally just don't pay
>charity kicks in and pays for them, or they never pay.

it doesn't fix everything, and I HATE socialism, but as an american living in the US (working for an american company) I love the healthcare here in leafland.

I know that it varies based on province, but I'm in BC and it is great. I had to go to the ER with a broken toe and was in/out in 45 minutes. No paperwork, no charge. Just had to show a BC health card (which is high security with Photo ID)

Also, it's not free! Everyone pays ~90/mo for healthcare in this province unless you are a senior. Welfare recips get some sort of break too, but illegals don't get any coverage.

It's better than what I have in Louisiana, so I think we could take some advice from folks like NHS and Canadian Healthcare.

>hes unironically defending health insurance companies
>he does it for free

170 euros, unemployed. no deductables though, everything covered except tooth replacement (only basic version/with deductables here).

THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED INSURANCE YOU FUCKING IDIOT SNAGGLE TOOTH BRITKEK YOU DON'T ACTUALLY PAY FUCKING 40K CASH WHEN YOU HAVE A BABY YOU STUPID FUCK

Do you think high paying jobs are infinite. There are going to be winners and losers.

6000 dollar deductibles are not healthcare, user.

>THERE IS SOMETHING CALLED INSURANCE

>paying for humans not be sick and die

???????

Dumbest fucking thing ever

So the healthcare industry is simply charging more so they can profit.

Why isn't this discussed so much? Who is the lobby preventing some regulation on pricing of healthcare?

Seriously is it possible that the government puts up a law that requires hospitals to charge a maximum X amount of dollars for a certain treatment? I am sure this will get abused in a fuck ton of ways but it is a start of something.

Yes.

CA alone has reported losses of over $10 billion due to illegals not paying for their care WITHOUT considering any other demographics in this. And, that was 8 years ago.

Now, fast forward to 2017, consider all 50 states and the burden of illegals, impoverished nigs, deadbeats and such, and gee, I wonder why the rest of us pay so much?

Just like when stores have excessive theft, prices rise to make up for losses and the consumer pays the tab. Why these things are tough for so many leftists to understand, I'll never figure out.

eh nah. I'm sticking with rouse. The kikes plans go deeper than a simple ruse.

>36
>self employed
>never paid for health insurance
>never gone to a hospital
>ride a motorcycle
>never had a license or insurance
I am so free of all that normie bullshit, when I see people talking about ONLY spending $50 a month on their WHATEVER that shit is, I laugh

be careful, avoid the system, and you can pay nothing at all

Read often?

I said that they're definitely fucking people over, I said that some regulation may be needed to correct the balance.

Comprehension is not your strong suit, I get it.

You stupid fuck GET A FUCKING JOB and you have insurance you lazy worthless nigger, you aren't entitled to anything you thick lipped fucking chimp.

If I got cancer I would DIE here because of socialist healthcare wait times, FUCK you and FUCK EVERY SOCIALIST CUCCK FAGGOT HERE.

Lol worthless wageslave detected

>haha just apply to higher paying jobs why can't you get a high paying job?

>becomes a janitor
>doesn't want to work

You are a walking parody

Just to pile on:

There isn't much (any?) inter-state competition for Obongocare plans. So of course the plans are all fucking ridiculous. The premiums and deductibles are so high that it literally isn't worth it for me to buy it. I wouldn't get any benefit from Obongocare unless I spent over 15,000 USD in the next year on doctor visits. Since I'm a healthy young lad and Obongocare was taking 1,000 USD out of every month's pay, I refuse to do this going forward. It would be cheaper to buy a plane ticket and go to Korea or Thailand for a medical procedure if I actually needed one.

Healthcare is the labour and productive outcome of someone else, why should it be free? Why do you want to enslave someone?

Healthcare for profit on the market is the only way that medicine can survive. Every "free" system ends up in either labour slavery of doctors forced to serve, or corrupt government appropriation systems. Both happen in the UK, the paragon of "free healthcare"

The only reason professional medicine began in the first place was because the rich in Egypt were able to pay someone to develop tools and medicines to treat them.

Aren't emergency room visits free? Maybe that's how they lost 10 billion.

>So the healthcare industry is simply charging more so they can profit.

Many times, yes. And, hospitals are overcharging their customers, so both are fucking us over because they can, and because most of us don't have more/better options.

>Why isn't this discussed so much?

Because people are much more interested in stupid shit that's fun to think about, healthcare is boring, so most just suck up the problems and bitch about them without thinking critically.

>Who is the lobby preventing some regulation on pricing of healthcare?

Both insurance and healthcare have huge lobbying power, I'm sure they've been working together to keep the status quo for years.

>
Seriously is it possible that the government puts up a law that requires hospitals to charge a maximum X amount of dollars for a certain treatment? I am sure this will get abused in a fuck ton of ways but it is a start of something.

Like I said before, there may be a need for some temporary regulation because shit is way out of balance. But, as things usually go, give the government an inch and it takes a mile and fucks the whole thing up, so again, I'm not sure of the best fix for this.

...

Insurance rates spiked because we're covering people who would have been denied before. People with chronic, mostly self inflicted conditions that ensure they would always take out way more than they put in, forever. Fuck those people.

>Aren't emergency room visits free?

Where on earth did you hear this? NOTHING is free. Care costs something. Just not what we're being charged for it. And, when people don't pay billions of dollars in care for what they received, the rest of us foot the bill.

Our hospital bill for my firstborn was 128 eurobucks and we got 88 eurobucks back from our insurance.

I think social security could work, but only in white only countries. Stay mad amerilards

Yes because being a janitor is so difficult.

Any high school kid can do a janitors job, and she is 27, with 40k in college debt, and a degree, working as a janitor. If a person has been working for $10/hr or less for 5+ years at a job a 16 year old can do they clearly fucked up with their lives, an at minimum don't think things through.

Can health cost regulations be done in the local level?

Can a state fix prices on health care alone?

Can a county do it?

I am sure if you can get a smaller sample size to pilot test these policies you can find a best solution. Get a whole bunch of counties try different shit and run the numbers to see which ones are working better.

You do understand that social security in the U.S is being ruined by the old white people right?
