It smells bad. This will be dismissed as another case of crazy, but there are too many questions here that won't be addressed. I can't help but think that the narrative wouldn't be different had they shot him dead on the spot.

I'm not gonna lie, odds are this was just a case of PTSD-induced insanity but that feels odd since he acted as if he was trying to preserve his own life which wouldn't make any sense. My newest conclusion is that this may be a joint CIA/NSA operation to test aforementioned susceptibility and therefor increase surveillance of vets who watch propaganda videos inorder to prevent domestic terrorism

The old guard intelligence may be having its last hoorah here. After the bullshit over the last few weeks, I think heads will be rolling at the agency after the 20th, and it's about time.

why would this kid have PTSD? He was an E4 national guardsman who had never seen combat.
Some people are highly suggestible. "Hypnotists" learn how to spot these types of people before the show, they can somehow get them to do nearly anything. If you ever watch a show at the fair, they start with 25 initial volunteers and end up with a handful who are malleable.
What do you end up with when you start out with a couple of hundred thousands of volunteers?
