Why are women so shit at music? If you look at the music industry as a whole you can clearly see the superior male creative streak.
99% producers/mixing room engineers = male 99% songwriters/composers (even the classical composers) = male 99% bands = male
Even the women you see warbling on the latest cookie cutter music vid didn't write the music most of the time. They may have collaborated on lyrics but that's about it. 99% of the best music in the world is written by, produced by and performed by males.
You also only get a few women who play instruments. Many of them are in orchestra's though. I cannot think of ONE famous female recording artist who used synths. I think the last few I recall who actually played an instrument were people like Joan Jet, Suzy Quatro, Joan Baez, what's-her-face from The Pretenders, Kate Bush and a handful of others.
But they are really just outliers.
Again I ask. Why are most women so crap at creating music?
I don't know why women are worse at making music, but I think it's important to celebrate the ones that did well like Karen Carpenter or the Wilson sisters of Heart.
Women also make for some great singers, even if they don't write the music. Particularly in choirs.

I also believe women have bad taste in music overall. Most women like popular music and most can't tell a guitar from a violin. The women who like good music are usually outcasts. I think this goes hand in hand with OP's statement.

Do you even know how record companies work? Record companies love women.
They have some fucking list of song lyrics, they have specialised song writers working hours. When the record company goes up to Rihanna/Swift/Adele/Sia or whoeverthefuck, they basically say "alright here are like 50 lyrics choose around 15-25" and then they get men to do the instrumentals by taking 10-15 chord progression presets and changing around the synthesisers.
And every time the record company makes MILLIONS, they've been printing money like this for YEARS, because when you take some woman and turn her into a scantily dressed slut for concerts and music videos the people fucking love it, they never get tired. These women are talentless hacks, their only real quality in the music industry is their gender.
Because nearly all women are Power-Normies who won't stay in and get the work done because they are always socializing or squealing 'oh my god' at a cute animal or something.
