The one in use by the world's only super power.

Seeing how all the first word countries are capitalist or with a very slight mix of socialism. And how the socialist countries are eating their pets to survive while they live on gigantic oil reserves, I'd say capitalism.

Seconding capitalism.

Don't break an arm jacking off, we still have problems buster brown
Capitalism gives an individual the ability to choose their own direction, and competition as a means of material gain for society works way better than anything in any command economy I've ever seen. The important part about any economic system is that it should be a tool, and not an end goal, of society at large.

mixed

medicare and centrelink are dope

What a strange thing to say. I'm well aware America still has issues.

What I'm driving at is that Europeans are very proud of their strong safety nets and social laws, all the while stifling business growth and wondering how America got so wealthy.

It seems perverse when the government intervenes in voluntary agreements between people. A mutually beneficial, win-win deal is turned into a win-lose-lose when the government is involved.

The best economic system is bartering.

Every other system has one of two problems:
1. Money that is worthless (what capitalism thrives on)
2. Dictatorship of wealth (socialism)

Money isn't based on anything real, like gold, anymore. Its numbers punched into a system. The u.s. is trillions of dollars in debt and simultaneously hand out "aid".

As soon as receipts were allowed hundreds of years ago, the basics and accountability of banking and economics was delegitimised. Trading x for y is the only way. Currency is just a middle man.

Yurope has more fortune 500 companies than the US does

I'm a little surprised that you weren't able to recognize that statistic helps further my point about European misuse of tax dollars.

how you gonna barter a house or a bed or something

trade 50 roo's for a house?

whos gonna cover medical? ill give you a 6 pack and you fix my liver?

>being this retarded
if there is a problem with currency that isnt based on actual precious metals, than the solution is to reform the currency to be backed by gold. Not do away with currency entirely and revert to bartering you retarded sack of turds.

The problem with your very correct but uninformed thinking is that 90% of gold is owned by a tiny percentage of the population.

We've already been fucked. It's too late to revert to a gold standard.

>mine more
Who owns the mining companies?

I answered the question in relation to the present.

Mixed
More towards capitalism like total free market but some few socialist things, protectionist policies, labor laws
I am against central banking because of the inherent danger of putting such a small group of humans in power but it would cripple our government not to be able to take on debt.
That being said in the future automation will once again fuck everything up and we'll have to rethink everything. That'll be part of the singularity.

One that doesn't allow rural and suburban retards to vote.

Medical is a difficult one. Loans are difficult too. But its up to individuals to work it out amongst themselves with legally binding contracts.

Dont strawman to trade in animals like in ancient times. We have better jobs and better technology now.

I only suggest it because the gold standard has been murdered by the elite.

>muuh ancap

My dude this would have worked in the 1700s. Now it's too late. By implementing such a system you are, in fact, crippling your country versus high cohesion effective organized states, such entities can mobilize faster, fuck up your country militarily, take advantage of you because of your "mminimalist government".

You want an example look at india that's how you'll live

You have a point
Assuming only your country implemented it.

The question was, what is the best economic system?

What if everyone inplemented it and stopped using currency?

New world.

But you are right. You'd get fucked on a global scale if only you did it. Because muh global economy based on non-existant currency.

europe also has less income inequality than the US

Economic powerhouse states, both in the US and Europe, are more the results of the history of those places than of economic policy.

Income inequality is more prevalent in more successful countries because the wealthy quite literally drive up the living standards of those around them. All you have to do is go to somewhere like Haiti (which has very low income inequality) to see what life is like without innovators who improve the marketplace.

You know which countries have low levels of income inequality? Countries like North Korea and Afghanistan do extremely well in that category. China also had great income inequality levels during the time when they were eating dogs and cats due to starvation and poverty. Now that they are becoming wealthier, their income inequality is increasing.

I would only ever want to live in places that have high income inequality.

Everyone on center link are lazy bastards who chose not to work or immigrants given benefits, and the people on medicare are fat smoking bastards living unhealthy lifestyles. It's not dope at all, safety nets are alright but the government needs to be smarter with it.

would you have been happy under the tzar?

I'm not saying that Europe is better than the US. I'm saying it is more the result of recent history, rather than economic policy. If the communist won the cold war, you can bet that Moscow would have been the Financial Capital of the world. Stop trying to separate history from the economy.

right wing state capitalism + mercantilism

basically China, Japan, South Korea

demurrage seems like a based way of trading shit.
basically it's money becomes worth less over time, meaning you have to spent it. Also there's no interest for money lying on your bank account, meaning you have to work eventually because you can't make money doing nothing.

I'm not an economist, but it worked in Austria during a really shitty political and economical situation (First Republic) and whereas everyone else had high quotas of jobless people the place this was tested at actually grew.
And then the national bank shut it down because it's "against the law"

> socialism is not a term of marxist theory, but some kind of economic system
> capitalism is not a term of marxist theory, but some kind of economic system
> there is some "mixed" kind of economic system

>Income inequality is more prevalent in more successful countries
wat? It's literally the opposite. The more advanced a country is, the less income inequality it has

>All you have to do is go to somewhere like Haiti (which has very low income inequality)
wat? Haiti is literally one of the most unequal countries in term of income equality

Why are you talking out of your ass?

>China also had great income inequality levels during the time when they were eating dogs and cats
lol no, it was precisely the opposite

can you notice a pattern?

Pure Capitalism.

Anarcho Capitalism
>Anarcho-capitalism is a political philosophy that advocates the elimination of the state in favor of individual sovereignty, private property, and free markets. Anarcho-capitalists believe that, in the absence of statute (law by decree or legislation), society would improve itself through the discipline of the free market (or what its proponents describe as a "voluntary society").

In addition to that I also advocate for a flat tax in the interests of Anarcho Capitalism.

The one were you don't have a mouthbreather who was bullied to death in school trying to dictate every fucking thing you do in life: capitalism.

You sir are smart, however I think you disregard the connection between the economic system, the political system and the material conditions and beliefs of people.
To put it in more concrete terms; everyone in America wants to be rich. Laws to promote this are stopped by politicians who are beholden to corporations who want people poor. People buy that capitalism is GREAT and PERFECT(and dissenters are dead reds) because of the byproducts of the cold war.
Yes capitalism is the best way to reward personal initiative, however it is completely neutered by powerful corporations.

Socialism however, wants people to be rich, not corporations. And if the end goal is for everyone to be rich then here is your tool friend:)
