I have access to scholarly articles and primary sources as well as secondary sources biased and unbiased. So please, if you are uneducated outside of high school- or maybe you took some junior college courses and never studied a thing after that- I frickin dare you to tell me how Donald Trump is going to help us as a whole nation and not specific social classes. We have among the highest corporate tax rates in the world, and some of the highest barriers to entry in free markets. Hong Kong economic zone, a socialist program, is a more capitalist economy than the markets here. You say Trump is going to continue the kleptocracy, but our crony capitalism is born from regulatory capture. K-street investments are among the best ROI investments any corporation can make, my corporation certainly does. These regulations make it impossible for younger companies or disruptive technologies to bloom, they are artificial micromonopolies bought and sold through influence peddlers.
Trump's writings and thoughts on market liquidity and anti-competitive regulations is clear. He describes the relationship between real estate and government as "bribery", and in the Contract With The American Voter, he commits to enact legislation (in an overwhelmingly supportive Congress, I might add) that will absolutely decimate regulatory capture/K-street firms within the first 100 days.
I was not a fanboy, I am equally cynical, but I see the clouds on the horizon. If he makes these ideas reality, and I think he will, we are looking at an American Century that will make the 20th look like a practice run. This is my economic prediction not just in words, but in actions. I am divesting all foreign holdings (international markets are going to be hit hard) and hard assets, not much in the overall scheme, but I will be putting at least 2.5M into a risk spectrum of domestic derivatives and venture capital.
