i thought the Sup Forums narrative was that jews were rounded up because the nazis thought them likely to be communist revolutionaries, but also racism, put them in labour camps and they eventually died of starvation (allied bombing etc) and typhus. then the russians came and chucked some chimneys up and doctored some photos and made some propaganda and the holocaust was born.
