I've been watching Roseanne on Laff (OTA antenna network) and it really is God-tier TV. An average, blue collar prole working family with shit jobs like making plastic shit and odd job contracting just dealing with shit. Look at how sanitized, SJW, and upper middle class TV is now-everyone is a candyass millennial fag on the Democrap wagon, sanitized, drugged, and no representation of the average slob.
Roseanne is really anthropological-the set is a feast of 70's furniture and nicknacks like Godzilla and dogs playing pool. The slacker daughter is a 90s archetype. This stuff is gold.
We're in an era of beautiful people where these kinds of families are expected to roll over to globalism, refugees, even shittier jobs, and they can't even see themselves reflected on TV.
>Democrap wagon, sanitized, drugged, and no representation of the average slob.
NEW WORLD ORDER
Nolan Lopez
I loved this as a kid I used to watch it at my nan and grandads house with my aunty and uncles
I used to think she was a red indian
Joshua Perry
It's amazing how NWO TV is now. It's a fucking purgatory of fake reality, bizarre "talent" shows, and pure propaganda. All bluepilled, while Roseanne was a red pill into brutal reality of prole existence.
Asher Morales
I really loved this show when I was young
I mean most of it had to do with my unyielding desire to impregnate Sarah Chalke but thats not the point it was a good show
Parker Nelson
Sarah Chalke was so out of place in casting compared to the REAL Becky. She looked wealthy and clean whereas the original Becky looked like the perfect example of decent white trash.
Sebastian Rivera
did you watch the episode where 12 year old DJ learns to jack off?
Jordan Miller
I will fight you
Austin Scott
That wasn't unique to Roseanne. It was the quality of 90's TV. No one got upset and threatened to 'stop watching' the shows when someone made a crass joke. There were no outlets to bitch and complain unlike today where so many people give a crap about their shitty opinions.
I think there was a clip with whoopi goldberg where her and some other guy (can't remember, horrible memory) who was in black face making racist jokes. She was laughing along with all of them. I think it was from the early 90's, and it would have been career ending if aired today. Maybe even life ending because of how crazy people get about this crap and probably would hunt people down for that.
Anyway, this show was great, and I wish DJ had more of a presence. I think there were moments in the show where they acknowledge he's a minor character. Something like "Oh wow, you're still around here?"
Also, a girl I dated when I was 13 looked like young Becky. Probably why I have a thing for her character kinda, even though I don't really like her in the show too much.
John Ward
Weird. I've been watching Roseanne over the last couple of weeks when I catch it and I'm amazed at the quality. It's funny, insightful, and real (to a degree.) Whenever they go towards the obvious it takes a turn and goes deeper. Roseanne is still funny; anyone got that screencap of her re: pussy grabbing?
>some other guy (can't remember, horrible memory) who was in black face making racist jokes That was Ted Danson from Cheers; they were dating or married at the time. People still got pissed about it.
Jordan Morris
Thanks, yeah I thought they were married, but didn't know for sure. Didn't care about it when it happened, still don't.
Henry Barnes
I always mix up Roseanne and Rosie O'Donnell even though Roseanne is much better. I think when I was a kid I thought they were the same person
Carson Gomez
There's that one comic strip I always see posted here where it's like some trans fag is watching the 90s movies and it gets all pissed off about the racist jokes, and then says something about how the 90s sucked.
Ryder Cooper
Superior show coming through.
Landon Clark
roseanne and norm macdonald are both redpilled so of course the show would be great
also watch this fucking video its only a minute long
What a sad sentence. Yet I know there's probably tons more like that.
I can see why you think that. In the show she's called Rosie a lot.
Another show I was thinking of about 80's-90's shows when it comes to how times have changed and network censors getting upset at stupid things all over.
Aiden Foster
That was the best show ever made though
Luke Harris
It is amazing to watch old shows and see how much more freedom there was. I've also been taking in Night Court and I lose track of how much shit would be censored now from the brutal jokes on that show about everyone from dwarves to transsexuals. That kind of random humor is sorely missed. John Larroquette received like 3 Emmy awards in a row for NC.
Christian Ross
I loved home improvement. Tim allens best work was tim taylor. Roseanne is great too. John goodman and her play well together. Never cared much the kids.
David Lopez
i want to band the middle daughter on his new show
muh dik
Sebastian Wood
Also, Night Court is great for Markie Post's legs in pantyhose and tight skirts. Judge Stone had a lap full in this publicity still.
Asher Davis
You know, I tried to watch this and I was hoping it would have Tim be trying to be like how he was on Home Improvement, but it's just "Stop being so manly" the show. At first it was amusing. Now it's kinda repetitive.
But true, the girls are pretty attractive.
Lincoln Watson
who didn't have a thing for the blonde daughter?
Ryder White
Oh yeah, can anyone recommend a place to watch/download this show that isn't some torrent hunnypot? Most of the normal torrent sites for that stuff have been taken down and 'replaced' with a version that promises it doesn't track IPs and totally won't get you in trouble.
Justin Roberts
this. anyone not in love with real becky is a doodoohead
Noah Reyes
Yeah this was before identity politics was being used as a trojan horse for corporatism, and it really is great. They don't mention how Clinton's globalism (NAFTA, taking Chinese money for favors, etc) were fucking them over though. But that's pretty accurate as the proles didn't know how they were being fucked over, or by who.
What I really like is later in the show its kind of jumping the shark stage so they have the family win the lottery, and that leads to Dan leaving Roseanne. You have to really get into Dan's psychology and how he was trying to compensate for his dad, and his mentally ill mother, and how Dan just wanted a solid family and had to put up with Roseanne's shit, and how being poor and struggling actually held them together. Once they had money they had options and they split up. I like shows where the characters have an actual psychology. I'd put even It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia in that category.
Christopher Allen
feels bad that Rob hired new writers for the sake of diversity
Noah Myers
Did you see the final episode?
Colton Rivera
I have a feeling that most of the torrent busts are made on normies downloading shit like a new Star Wars movie or a fucking One Direction album, stuff that RIAA and Hollywood lose big on. Stuff like this is more off the radar and safer probably. Like when I download an old Sonny Chiba flick I'm not too worried about anyone caring.
Julian Howard
that was topical and hilarious, thanks
Cooper Cooper
Hmmm I'm not sure. I'll look it up now.
Levi Walker
The final retcon seems tacked on and just changes too much. Having the events at Darlene's wedding end things without acknowledging the retcon is a decent timeline.
Dylan Clark
Well, no spoilers, but if you really like the show, it'll change everything. Don't watch it if you wanna keep your image of how the show was.
Wyatt Morales
keep watching the show, you will literally see it turn into what you complain about Shortly after Becky leaves
Charles White
her hairstyle makes me vomit a little in my mouth
Benjamin Wright
I don't know. I like the idea that Roseanne did get into writing and the whole show is her book. Powerless to change things in reality, she creates her own version.
Levi Ross
Married With Children is the best fucking show ever, its so godamn funny, and exemplary of the anti-PC nineties... a movie example of the anti-PC nineties would be PCU, highly recommend it.
Tyler Wright
I too disregard the final ep as canon.
Colton Evans
I cannot STAND modern television. Post-Game of Thrones every fucking show looks like a JC Penny catalog.
Everyone is so aesthetic, they all look like/are models.I fucking hate historical television shows. EVERY.SINGLE.ONE. has beautiful people with completely symmetrical features. Most people (especially from 100s of years ago) are fucking ugly. They're chubby or too skinny and most dont look like pornstars. FUCK I HATE MODERNITY
Josiah Nguyen
Yeah, I like how they handled it, I get it, but I don't think of it as a real episode.
Lincoln Flores
It was the 80's and the mullet was tamed over time in later eps. I find it pretty amusing.
Ethan Cook
>watching any episode with Tom Arnold guest staring >see how bad that phoney jew has aged >mfw
Jose Gomez
I have no idea what the recruitment process is but I wonder if there are any ugly to average looking people even trying to go into acting anymore. With only a few exceptions in older actors everyone looks like a model to the point that I imagine if a studio even wanted to hire a plain looking person with talent they would be hard to find.
Thomas Moore
>Tom Arnold a complete has been, tho I bet that fucker saved his Roseanne money so he doesn't have to work.
Ethan Ross
I was never really a fan of Roseanne.
I can see why some people liked it, but I just could never get into it.
Juan Gonzalez
That's what has ruined movies. Where are the characters you see in old movies and TV shows with cool, unique looks like Lee Van Cleef in those Spaghetti Westerns. All the bit actors in old stuff are amazing in their gritty looks and shit.
Where are the actors like this mean SOB, a real life madman and bigger than life? I'm sick of candyass metrosexual pretty boys.
Robert Jenkins
I just watched some of it and wow it was meta. I think that actually adds another layer, like a Sopranos dream sequences.
Easton Roberts
Yeah, the real stuff happens at the end of the episode.
Owen Price
kek, we're debating which episodes of Roseanne are canon why would anyone ever bother interacting with other human beings in a place other than this board i'm glad i'm sitting alone on a saturday night reading this thread instead of wasting time with boring ass normies who make me want to kill myself btw her twitter is a fucking gold mine, firmly secure your side plates before viewing I don't even mind that she's a Jew because she's the cute kind who wants the goyim to have happy lives while still doing a bit of extra work so nationalist Jews can live for free on our dime in the welfare state of Israel, she wants just a subtle burden increase on us rather than the subjugation and sex slavery and misery and ethnic cleansing the globalist Jews desire for us The one thing that bothered me about the show though is that it helped to spread the current day meme that poor white people are all stupid trashy rednecks. For example, Dan seems to chimp out and destroy furniture in every single episode. The show was highly influential on the minds of naive and impressionable goyim, it ran for 9 years on the main television stations so EVERYONE saw it, and it helped establish a stereotype of what white people are like, especially for other races who never actually see what a real white family is like in real life, so all they had to go by were TV shows.
Jacob Garcia
Your catalog comment is actually true, its all about product placement -- the sets are all about selling home decor and housewares.
Wyatt Cooper
>Look at how sanitized, SJW, and upper middle class TV is now-everyone is a candyass millennial fag on the Democrap wagon, sanitized, drugged, and no representation of the average slob.
Dan was chill as fuck, he only flipped out when Jackie was abused or he was dealing with his emotions regarding his dad & mentally ill mom. Or when Roseanne was occasionally being a big fucking cunt. Dan's the fucking best. I think it portrayed the white working class as witty, funloving, honest, decent, hardworking, etc.
James Lee
Nah, there were offended people threatening boycotts and letter-writing campaigns. The difference is that you didn't hear much about it outside of the infancy of cable news networks and page 6 of newspapers.
The Birth of a Nation was boycotted in plenty of cities by the NAACP, and that was 100 years ago.
Anyway to get back to the OP, compare Rosanne to Reba, a more modern show about a blue-collar mother.
Except the latter is a work of pure narcissism, the opening is Reba singing about herself as a "survivor" (aka a single mother divorcee who lives in a cushy home most single mothers would kill for). She's impeccably beautiful, her world is spotless, and although she celebrates herself in the intro as a "working mom who works too hard" we rarely see her working, or facing financial difficulties
Rosanne was unflattering reflection, Reba was an aspirational fantasy
Joseph Brown
I've never heard of Reba. I'll look into it, so I can see the differences.
Samuel Williams
Reba is every narcissistic western single mom trash womyn meme I've seen on Sup Forums
Matthew Ortiz
>No one got upset and threatened to 'stop watching' the shows when someone made a crass joke.
not true at all, conservative groups complained all the time, even prevented an episode of Married with Children from airing for over a decade. also at the pressure of these groups they introduced the V-chip so parents can block shows from their children and they forced a ratings system on video games
Robert Evans
The difference was that these shows with controversial content were the rule, and yeah people complained, but now everything is controlled from the top to enforce SJW norms and a sterilized view of reality. SJWs are like bible thumpers in their censorship motives and they run the show, and now we have hysterical Orwellian hate fests like the way Dukes of Hazzard was flushed down the memory hole for having the confederate flag.
Ayden Perez
Great episode: The aunt has been getting beat up by her boyfriend.
Dan pauses at the door, [debates internally], then silently grabs his coat and hurries out the door. Bout to go beat that guy's ass. Gets arrested. Great show.
Lucas Bennett
>I AM A HERO, I'M A *~SURVIVOR~* FOR DOING THE BARE MINIMUM NEEDED TO KEEP MY KIDS ALIVE, and ugghh my ex-husband feels entitled to come by and visit MY KIDS just because it's their birthday, that jerk is always undermining me!
Also the accent is a grating caricature like holy hell.
William Sanders
That's why Married With Children was so great, the PC-left and PC-right all hated it and it made a mockery of their stupid "values". Kept it real.
Thomas Johnson
That post makes sense Rosanne was popular during the mid to late 80's and that was when we was coming out of the more hostile Cold War era. She would understand the pointlessness of wanting to go to war with Russia over literally nothing that the US is not doing itself.
Liam Cooper
Its like Reba was created to poison southern conservative white women with toxic feminism.
Chase Phillips
You mean 90s
Nicholas Cook
Ah I remember the conservatives being the no fun police back then. Mortal Kombat was like the worst thing they thought would ever happen. Now you are lucky to get a son to display the least bit of testosterone induced behaviour.
Jackson Hill
oldfag here.
used to watch Roseanne all the time. it's about real ppl.
Ryder Smith
A lot of things have changed, but a lot have stayed the same. The lyrics change, but they're singing the same tune
Jeremiah Martin
I wanted to impregnate Jackie, but she turned out to be a massive slut. I was waiting for her to get off the cock carousel every season, but she never did...
Elijah Sanders
i grew up on this shit seriously good
Zachary Edwards
No I mean Rosanne not the show. The show ran for nine seasons, from 1988 to 1997 which was still the late 80's,faggot. Stand-up comedian: 1980–1986 That's how she earned her show if you're not familiar with her.
Lucas Johnson
...
Xavier Hughes
When they blamed Marilyn Manson and Doom for Columbine was another classic moment along those lines. It's weird, but that shit is nostalgic now: firing up a game of Doom, loading up Harris' wad, and putting on the old KMFDM is a surprisingly comfy trip down memory lane.
Christopher Morales
Its true but they did help push faggotry into mainstream so
Zachary Bennett
Actually there is only one show that can be blamed for the state of homosexuals in TV today and that is Ellen. The minor character of the gay bakery shop owner on Rosanne did nothing.
Mason Gonzalez
I loved that show.
Luke Morgan
He's either really good at or really bad at it.
Tyler Jenkins
Home improvement was where tv started showing white males as incompetent retards, who had to be kept in line by their women. Poor example.
Ryder Thompson
Not surprising staring a cokehead. But the inept white man stick has been around forever. But it was played for laughs along side a straight man who was usually smart. They got rid of the straight man and starting using women instead then niggers.
William Robinson
Married with Children was better.
Brandon Garcia
Honestly other than Danny Trejo I can't really think of any modern actors who have a really unique look. And even he is pretty niche all things considered.
Gabriel Bennett
You read my mind about Danny. He's the real deal between hard time in prison and his mean look and the guy was born in 1944 and still looks tough as fuck.
Thomas Hughes
I just checked out Roseanne's twitter. Wow, she is one of us.
Jackson Roberts
...
Blake Miller
One thing that stood out to me when I caught an episode of Roseanne fairly recently was that Roseanne was offered some kind of secretarial job, at the bike shop? Or something....and the guy offering her the job says something like "Pays $14/hr...not much, but it's something."
I remember that $14/hr bit so vividly. That was a shit wage in the late 80's/early 90's when the show was on.
And also, related, in the Ghostbusters movie, the chick who is the receptionist complains about only getting $12/hr.
Nowadays you need skills and experience to get those wages if there are even jobs. I mean, I make far more than that, but back then, any retard off the street could walk in and get a $12-$14/hr job, it seems.
Samuel Jones
Well the cast of The Big Bang Goyim is pretty distinct. As far as movies go the youngest actor with weird looks usually are female like all the ugly bitches posted on here to worship over. Emma Stone, Chole Mo, That ugly bitch from the new feminist Ghostbuster Kate something other I'll give you that Emma Watson was cute when she was younger but I haven't seen anything she has been in recently.
Cameron Anderson
Is that his son? He has his father's nose.
Matthew Young
Too bad Roseanne Barr is a giant fucking liberal douchebag nowadays
William Parker
Part of it, there's a term for it that I can't remember; but the fact that we view this shit on large TVs in HD doesn't help. I remember when I used to watch The Big Bang Theory (fuck off) before I got HD, on a CRT. Wasn't too bad, but then when I got a 1080p flat screen and an HD signal, you could see so much more of the set, and in so much more detail, that everything looked fake as fuck, and the actors were just standing awkwardly around while delivering their lines. It's like, a situation where too much context is an issue.
Noticed it with other shows, too. Bunch of people talking in a group, they're just standing there kind of awkwardly delivering lines. Which may have always been the case, but now you can't escape it once you notice it, because it's there, whereas it wasn't before.
Matthew Robinson
Run those numbers through an inflation calculator and that 80s 90s pay is even better. Meanwhile, we have bozos like Obama telling us how good we have it. I can only imagine how Dan and Roseanne would react to survival nowadays.
Alexander Martin
It was until the "No Ma'am" bullshit came along and Al Bundy became a pussy whipped faggot.
Julian Garcia
>he hasn't reached the final seasons yet. Everyone is GAY!!!
Levi Jackson
Yup, gas was under a buck and it was shocking if it went up a few cents; a bag of chips was probably damn near full and cost maybe $2; coffee came in one pound bags instead of this 6-8oz bullshit....
James Wilson
Only Fools and Horses is proper working-kino.
Accept no imitations.
Eli Jones
Well the show was created by a Jew and a Nigger what did people expect. They thought they was making fun of white people when most whites liked they family anyways.
Xavier Cook

Xavier Parker
>Night Court My jam right there. Great show.
Hudson Smith
Are you sure. She was dropping massive truth bombs on twitter this summer.
>let's just laugh at the anti Trumpers. They are hilarious. Don't get mad-that's what feeds them.
Looks like she's with us now.
Sebastian Martinez
Used to watch it every wednesday night
John Sullivan
>split up. I think you missed an important episode or two.
Grayson Nelson
This guy gets it. Al was a GOD
Parker Rodriguez
