CATHOLIC GENERAL >DEDICATED CATHOLIC GENERALS EVERY SUNDAY
Everyone is welcome. Discuss news, ask question, give answers, be kind to one another, and above all assist one another in living the virtuous life. As usual, I will be assisting with answering questions and helping people out. I recommend you do the same.
Morning Wolf, mass was great. Our Priest gave a great homily about modernism, artificial polls and how people turn down logic and reasoning in favor of emotional appeal to support abortion and euthanasia.
Twas also the feast day of the Saint who brought Catholicism to the Philippines. The Fillipino community did a big dance/celebration thing in the Church.
How does everyone else feel about extravagant dances/performances in the Church if you have them?
Personally don't like them much as I feel it detracts from the reverent atmosphere. But then I saw how happy they were and thought back to King David and the lads dancing through the streets and what not celebrating and reveling in the Lord.
Benjamin Perry
Well at least you managed to bump the thread. Sorry to hear about that, though, user. Perhaps next time for you.
Justin Bennett
my priest lectured us on loving and providing for the immigrants not only in our community but those that require our shelter and love all over the world. I'm glad that he helped me learn compassion that I cannot find on Sup Forums.
Elijah Thomas
It was ok. I kinda didn't get the point of second reading but it was ok. But I was super tired and kinda didn't listen to homily as much as I should (not that circa half od my parish don't it normally anyway).
But it was good Sunday anyway, my Bible reading goes wonderfully.
David Perez
it was ok, the communion was tasty and the grape juice better than usual
Landon Sanders
I hope that the few Brits from last weeks thread drop by again. >Muslim Brit >Agnostic Brit >Brit thats been in a lot of pain >Brit interested in history of Christianity And I hope the American guy thats been looking for God for 5 years drops by too.
I've been praying for you lads.
Found these today; enjoy a daily dose of heresy. youtube.com/watch?v=Y0S2WlvNTU8 >Woman priest is my call >Women preaching for all >Don't listen to St. Paul >Excommunication? I'm still glowing. youtube.com/watch?v=N6bLztm8jr4 >Catholic Feminists >If Church is gonna grow, >Misogyny must go,

Xavier Diaz
When are you gonna rip that commie pope for a BASED one?
Caleb Rogers
You too user.
Are the women wearing red and gold dresses in yours as well? >Do the men have white fedoras they are tipping?
Would have to hear more about it to make a comment on it. I hope that it isn't as bad as you make it out to be.
Thomas Wood
Love Poles, hopefully France will be as Catholic as Poland again.
Kayden Perry
Good to have you!
>Our Priest gave a great homily about modernism, artificial polls and how people turn down logic and reasoning in favor of emotional appeal to support abortion and euthanasia.
Well holy shit, okay then. Very surprising. How did it sit with the congregation?
My parish is too small to do big celebrations I like the idea as long as its kept out outside the parish or in specific community areas. I'd be offended to see that shit anywhere near the sanctuary, let alone the altar.
Now for me, my experience was pretty fun.
>campy priest is off >new priest meant specifically for the hispanic community takes the place >horrible accent and has a young girl translate his homily >manages to be fun while scolding everyone for being low energy and lacking reverence and interest in prayer >does a prayer request for Mexico to get its shit together rather than worry about Trump >testifies to the grace of God through saying he was given the priesthood when he didn't deserve it >has already set up holy hour now and prayer vigils into the parish's weekly schedule along with community events >urges people to respond to his call to spirituality >redneck-looking guy stands up and speaks out in the homily >oh boy here we go >says he wants to respond because no one else is and that we need to respark our devotion >whole room cheers the call >suddenly everyone in the congregation is much more active in the mass and singing loudly >the whole time this cute little girl is trying to be cute to distract her older sister by trying to be as cute as possible and its fucking adorable >realize she's deliberately distracting the sister from mass and from prayer >my face when I realized the little girl was Satan >my face when this whole mass
I have something for you, that may bring litte hope for you (but take "VII is satanic antichrist religion" with grain of salt)
Kayden Long
Yeah man. Im only here because i have a Filipino stepmom (pls no day of the rope my dad) and shes doing the dance stuff in the dress thing.
Mason Cook
Sorry to hear you fell out but glad you had a good time, user.
>grape juice user...
God bless you also, Brother.
I'd like to make an official statement on this:
"Okay."

Mass was fine. Homily on the Wedding of Cana
David Watson
>How did it sit with the congregation? I believe it sat very well with the congregation. The Church in my hometown is filled primarily with the elderly and Filipino people. So they're fully on board with everything going on.
>Also forgot to mention our Priest asked us all to pray for President Trump A shame that he doesn't seem to be particularly fond of him though.
>Uni mass however during midweek mass, some elderly man offered a prayer than Trump was to be elected rather than baby-murdering Clinton. I was quite pleased with that prayer a week before the election.
>manages to be fun while scolding everyone for being low energy and lacking reverence and interest in prayer >does a prayer request for Mexico to get its shit together rather than worry about Trump >testifies to the grace of God through saying he was given the priesthood when he didn't deserve it >has already set up holy hour now and prayer vigils into the parish's weekly schedule along with community events >urges people to respond to his call to spirituality >redneck-looking guy stands up and speaks out in the homily >oh boy here we go >says he wants to respond because no one else is and that we need to respark our devotion >whole room cheers the call Well that sounds pretty good Wolf.
>the whole time this cute little girl is trying to be cute to distract her older sister by trying to be as cute as possible and its fucking adorable Was quite amused by this.
Luke Perez
i was in that thread, happy sunday fella
Daniel Mitchell
One of the particular Anons? Or just another Brit lurking. If you were one how goes things?
Is it as crazy as the one I had? They had fans and everything. Men Fedora tipping and a fairly attractive young girl who was extremely happy, lifting a small statue of baby Jesus up and down.
Xavier Fisher
A Christian thread that's not just "Deus Vult we own the board"?
I approve
Jose Ramirez
well you did it. You found a picture of Our Lady that gives me a chubb as she is HAF in that.. Thanks. I am going to burn for that.
Then again I am probably going to burn for a lot of things. I haven't set foot in a church now in about 17 years. It isn't that I don't believe in God. I do. But I can't stand the mass anymore. All I would see were fat women holding the bible up high walking around, stupid lame songs (Peace is flowing like a river - why do I remember that shitty song?) and a general host of other things that turned me off from going to church.
At least I know I still have some sort of devotion as I had to stop listening to one of my favorite bands (Babymetal) because of their disrespect to Our Lady and blasphemous rendition of singing "Ave Maria". It made me feel disgusted.
So keep up these threads. I lurk them and enjoy reading things.
Jace Allen
Glad to have you, user.
Now thats very neat. I've yet to see a priest's homily that's blatantly anti-modernist. Toy have a nice place, user.
Catholic Generals were constant between 2014-2015 and died down with the /his/ split and rise of Trump talk. Catholic Generals are now dedicated sunday threads.
Austin James
I was looking at the differences between Latin mass and the standard mass the other day. And I was quite disappointment when I realized how much more beautiful Latin mass is. And even more disappointment when I realized there is no Latin masses that take place in either my home town or my uni town. Really want to go to one.
Welcome user
Good to hear user.
Henry Sanders
We had our Nigerian AP give the homily today. Top notch as always Fr Emmanuel.
But man am I getting sick of the straight outta 1973 choir that does the music at 9:30. And after anyone makes an announcement at the end of mass people fricking clap. What's the point? Why are we applauding that the Confirmation kids are serving coffee in the hall?
But good news is that I haven't looked at porn or jerked it all of 2017 so far. Also trying to renew my daily rosary.
Xavier Thomas
I have in the OP a directory for finding Latin masses in your area. Perhaps you should look for those.
Easton Morgan
>well you did it. You found a picture of Our Lady that gives me a chubb as she is HAF in that.. Thanks. I am going to burn for that. You're the second person in two days that I've read about having issues with Mary paintings.
>. All I would see were fat women holding the bible up high walking around, stupid lame songs (Peace is flowing like a river - why do I remember that shitty song?) and a general host of other things that turned me off from going to church. What sort of Mass are you attending? Should probably go seek reconciliation and find yourself a nice traditional latin mass around your area?
>And after anyone makes an announcement at the end of mass people fricking clap. And you're not even American. Oh boy. Its a shame that everybody feels the need to clap. The only time I feel thats acceptable in Mass is after a performance of sorts. Which kinda irks me as well a lot of the time.
>But good news is that I haven't looked at porn or jerked it all of 2017 so far Keep it up user. Go for the full year achievement.
Landon Baker
Also, I don't know Babymetal. Whats blasphemous of their rendition?
A good Ave Maria for your troubles. >the final scene of this part was the hardest thing for company to do in the whole movie youtube.com/watch?v=8xXkB-ncF2g

Parker Sullivan
That is pretty awesome. I am trying a no fap 2017. Already failed twice but that was my own fault for going to /gif/. I gotta stay away from that.
I need to work through a lot of things before I set foot in a church. It is mostly my own problems that I brought down on myself that I need to fix before haunting a group of good people.
BTW I do have a question about Confession. Obviously I haven't been to confessions for probably 20 years if not longer. I don't even know how I would even begin.
What do I do? Do I just give a general "Father I did X, Y and Z or do I have to go into detail? (For example there was a while I used to fap every day. If I tried to add up 20 years of fapping - or do I just say "I fapped, I did this and that and the other thing"?
Parker Sanders
Basically the same thing as that except no fedoras and after church we all are packed into a Cafeteria that their Catholic School has and they dance some more and everyone eats
Xavier Price
>But good news is that I haven't looked at porn or jerked it all of 2017 so far. Also trying to renew my daily rosary.
Excellent job, user.

"I don't think it's cringe at all, I think this is probably the sweetest and most genuine thing a guys opened up to, I honestly respect you so much for being so open about it and it's honestly something that's so attractive that you're that confident through it like it just makes me want to learn more and become me a better happier person seriously, I've been brought up being in church all the time but I was so little like I'm a completely different person now I was baptises and all but I really don't like who I'm turning into like sometimes my personality is so ugly and selfish idk like you make me want to be a better person"
Received this message after a light drinking social gathering from a lady I know. Finally have a chance to help someone find Christ in person.
Awesome, thanks man! As a staunch monarchist, I can only hope.
The fastest growing and youngest part of Catholicism in France is traditionalism (mostly SSPX) and I'd say a large majority of traditionalists are monarchists.
Now it's just a matter of outbreeding muslims and liberals...
Oliver Rivera
REMINDER
Fedoras who say religions is dying are wrong. It's declined massively in the West, but it's growing in placed like Poland. Europe has a choice: be Catholic or Muslim
>What do I do? Do I just give a general "Father I did X, Y and Z or do I have to go into detail? (For example there was a while I used to fap every day. If I tried to add up 20 years of fapping - or do I just say "I fapped, I did this and that and the other thing"? I would say go into a little bit of detail. Such as there was long period of 20 years or so where I would masturbate on a regular basis. And one period where I would masturbate up to 32 times in a day. Not too much, but not too little either.
Ryan Miller
You'll need to give a best estimate of the frequency/amount of each sin, and anything that would make it worse (sodomy, etc).
Just be honest and contrite. God is not out to get you and isn't waiting for you to make an honest mistake to throw you into the fire.
If you say you fapped every day, and then you realize after confession that you did it more often, the confession is still valid. Just, whenever you go back to confession, just tell him what you found out.
God Bless
Brayden Green
I'm pretty sure the supreme leader of Catholicism said the Muslim invasion was a good thing and went on to wash their feet.
I was in France for awhile. Can attest to the preeminence of trads.
Ever done the Chartres pilgrimage? I did it two years ago, and hope to do it again this year.

Perhaps you gents can help me out here. I just read the Bible and believe on Jesus Christ. My fiancés family is Catholic and is trying to get me involved in their church more. But I am having a hard time reconciling some of the things I see in the Church with scripture. Mark 7:8-10KJV 8 For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. I see a lot of traditions of man in the Catholic Church (rosary, purgatory, veneration of saints) which makes me apprehensive to join.
If anyone could give some insight into why the church does that stuff it'd be appreciated. Also not trying to be a schismatic type person, just looking for genuine insight please.
Luis Hill
I have a dirty mind. That is my problem. I am corrupt and working on that. Which is why a normal person will see that painting and say "what a beautiful painting" and I will see some hot piece of ass looking at me. As I said I am corrupt. So don't stop posting that pic because of someone like me. I will just have to deal with my perversions like a normal person.
I attended a regular mass at the church where I went to school. Ironic isnt it that I went to Catholic School where I learned to hate the Catholic Church. In my parish we had this priest who I am sure was a good man but he was bossed around by big fat short haired women. He didn't even give out communion - THEY DID. I could go on about the stupid banners and ribbons flying around the church, the stupid choir singing lame songs (CLAP YOUR HANDS EVERYBODY) and I just couldn't take it anymore.
I may look for a Traditional Mass (hopefully there is one in my area) but I need to work out a few things with myself before going into a group of good people like that. I am not in a good state spiritually.
Babymetal is a cute Japanese band made up of 3 females and a FIRST CLASS KICK ASS metal musicians that play in the background. I really loved them as my music tastes are Classical Music and Metal and Electronic (Techno / Trance).
I will show you their video so you can see for yourself what I mean.
In confession you are to confess your sins not only to yourself and God but to the community so share as you deem right. However details are not mandatory. The most basic that's recommended is saying the cardinal sin that you committed. In this case, things such as lust, sloth, etc.
And I won't try to talk you into rejoining the church. What I will say is to see it as it is: a hospital for sinners.
Samuel King
Christianity and Islam are growing worldwide and atheism is dying worldwide. Meanwhile atheism is growing in Europe and there are signs of Christianity returning in the next generation and Catholic strongholds such as Poland.
Crazy fucking times, right?
Ian Bell
Thanks. Time I guess to take out the old slide ruler and calculator to figure out my past transgressions (just kidding)
I just realized something. It is false pride that is keeping me in this darkness.
Carter Carter
We're all corrupt dude. You won't find a Catholic on Sup Forums who doesn't have a very extensive knowledge of degeneracy and sin. Keep at it bro!
Find a parish that does Eucharistic Adoration. Go there and read the bible, pray the rosary, or sit in the presence of the one who loves you.
Catholicism is a wonderful mix of the logical and the spiritual. Study the doctrines to allow your mind and heart to be open to the mystical encounter with Christ that will change your life.
Easton Perry
You need to parse traditions (customs) from Sacred Tradition (the oral teachings passed down in the church).
Any other particular issues? I'd love to help.

I myself am overdue for a Confession and have to come to terms with what I've done recently (and how frequent). The struggle is real.
Luis Hill
I think the Holy Spirit elected Pope Francis for that exact reason.
Europe rejected Catholicism, & God showed Europe what happened to it with a weak Pope. I have no doubt we'll get a more orthodox Pope once this Papacy ends, and whether Europe united once more around Catholicism will decide its fate
Aiden Foster
I went to traditional latin mass for the first time Saturday and went to this mornings mass at the same place. I'm having to set aside a lot of my biases since I grew up being told catholics were wrong, but I thought the latin mass itself was beautiful and the message was good. I don't know anything about the practices and traditions though, I had trouble following parts of the mass using their missal but still enjoyed it overall. It's a small parish with a tight knit family feel to it, I had a nice talk with the priest after Saturday's mass and he seems like a good guy.
I'm going to keep going to this church for a couple weeks and see how it goes. I don't think it's a problem necessarily but because I was brought up protestant it's confusing for me to be serious when they start talking about Mary and other specifically Catholic things. I wanna be open to it and not follow friends/family that condemn Catholicism without any idea of what it is. The priest gave me a few things to read so I have a decent start. Pray that I can find some understanding on these things, brothers.
Adrian Ward
Thanks. I need to figure out a lot of things.
I know that God never promised me tomorrow. I could get hit by a bus. I just have a general bad attitude toward a lot of things.
I am actually embarrassed about the things I have done and I don't know how I can tell someone else about it. That is going to be the hardest part of all for me.
Dylan Wright
What counts the most at Mass is the Eucharist, concentrate on that. Go to another church if you can.
Listening to non-blasphemous bands only isn't a commandment or a requirement. Music is morally neutral of itself, and if you find the sound beautiful, you can by this appreciate the God who created it. There is nothing intrinsic in music making it evil. The only reason one would be prohibited to listen to it would be if it led you to sin (e.g. blasphemous music making you blaspheme), but from what you have written about your reaction this doesn't seem to be the case here.
Camden Mitchell
>Also not trying to be a schismatic type person, just looking for genuine insight please. Don't worry user, we're here to help answer your questions.
>I see a lot of traditions of man in the Catholic Church (rosary, purgatory, veneration of saints) which makes me apprehensive to join. I believe the important thing here is to look at the part in the verse saying: "For laying aside the commandment of God" Catholics do not put aside the commands/word of God when upholding the traditions that have been passed on since the early Church days.
None of these traditions go against the commandments or words of our God. The Rosary has its history as to why its used, particularly back in the older days. As does the veneration of saints.
Purgatory however is not a tradition it is a biblical teaching. In particular it can be seen in the book of Maccabees if i remember correctly. However many Protestant sects remove that book from the Bible. It can also be seen throughout the Old Testament as Jews believed in Purgatory or an in between state before coming to God in all his glory.
This answer may not be the best, but you might have to post specific issues that you feel where Veneration, Purgatory or Rosary goes against God's will for me to explain how they aren't.
Ryder Peterson
Well the music quality is definitely there, you're right.
>"Hey, this isn't so bad..." >that complete fucking turn around
WHY.
Sebastian Gutierrez
>any other particular issues Well that's the difficulty in my conundrum. It's not essentially the practices that are bothering me for lack of a better word.
I guess I'm asking how do these things become 'Holy'? Or on what authority does the Church have to decide what is now a doctrine or not.
I'm sorry I am having difficulty trying to ask things in the right words.
Kevin Jackson
Will Cardinal Burke become the first american pope?

It's not looking likely.

Even though I love Metal there I stay away from black metal and bands that are openly satanic.
Which is strange because at times I found myself dabbling with things I shouldn't have.
I am talking about going full retard like trying to summon a succubus and fapping to ebola-chan and giving her my energy.
I just need to get my act together or I am going to end up in HE double hockey sticks.

Welcome home user.
If you want to understand what happens in the mass more, I refer you to the laudate app in the OP. If your interest is more to do with WHY we do those things, I recommend Fortescue's The Mass (found here archive.org/details/massstudyofroman00fort)

Francis is 80 and the rumour is that his health isn't the best.
Burke is only 68.
Tyler Barnes
Anybody here ready for the Three Days of Darkness?
Doubt it, but I think it's certain we won't get another in Pope Francis' fashion. He has alienated too many people.
Think it's likely Cardinals will vote for a sort of reset, & elect someone like Cardinal Ouellet
Aiden Williams
I know. Which is why I feel comfortable in talking about it with you guys. Normies wouldn't understand.
Yeah. I feel sometimes that I am Dorian Grey and afraid to look at my painting.
Yes. Which is why it made me so upset because I loved them. They are so cute (not into loli's so that's not my poison) but their cuteness just made me feel so happy. So seeing that just made me really upset. Why would they do that was my first and lasting impression?
Chase Thompson
the Young Pope is pretty good. Spencer is asmad lel
Aaron Perez
his speech to the cardinals is pretty ebin
i mean it is primarily an entertainment show so i wouldnt go to it for anything approaching accurate depiction of catholicism but as drama i think it was excellent
Eli Torres
You're all good! Happy to help, as I said. Please don't feel worried about asking many questions.
>Or on what authority does the Church have to decide what is now a doctrine or not.
Apostolic succession. Jesus gave authority to the apostles to teach the faith, which led to them passing on their authority to their successors. This is how Christianity functioned in the early church and the unanimous understanding of how doctrine was established by the Christian Church. This is how the church was able to declare doctrine such as the canon of the Bible, for instance.
What defines Protestantism is their rejection of many aspects of Catholicism/Orthodoxy and also denying their validity as apostolic succession. They don't all deny apostolic succession as a thing (though many do) but they generally give up on claiming authority and focus on what they can consider doctrinal: Scriptures.
>I guess I'm asking how do these things become 'Holy'?
There is a whole section on holiness on the Catholic Encyclopedia that can answer this in grander detail. newadvent.org/cathen/07386a.htm
Jaxon Taylor
>the Young Pope is pretty good. Spencer is asmad lel Is it actually a good series? Does it push a good traditional conservative view?
I'm always afraid of watching these sorts of things for being disappointed.
Though the Exorcist series was pretty good. Kept true to the Catholic Church, showed the struggles that Priests can face. And had some pretty good latin and 'Power of Christ' moments.
Grayson Collins
Greetings from Sup Forums.
Did your book come in alright, friend?
Michael Morris
I am only on the second episode. But the MC is rather complex with parental issues and seem to be atheistic(or might be as implied in his confession to one of the priests). Judging by how he looks in the trailer, he does seem to be conservative
The cardinals seemed to be potrayed negatively
Entertainment but I give credit for its depth and the implication that the church cannot bent to the world.
John Reyes
The guilt is hard but there is virtue in facing it, user. Best of luck and I will be praying for you, user. I hope to hear from you again.
I had an user confirm my suspicions of how the series was. If true, this could help you out:
Haven't fapped since Penance service and had nocturnal emission last night. Sure i saw hentai pictures, but I didn't masturbate.

Oh boy, well I suppose I'll give it a chance irregardless.
Will take a look into it Wolfy, cheers.

I've been there user. Ask yourself why are you embarrassed. If you are simply a chain on the evolutionarly scale, it makes no sense to be embarrassed about something for which you won't face punishment.
Accept you were born in original sin, and your sin does not shock God. What will decide your fate is whether you admit your faults, apologise for them & endeavour to lead a better life

>Cardinal Ouellet Interesting guy.
>In February 2011 Cardinal Ouellet said that the relativisation of the Bible, which denies the value of the Word of God, constitutes a genuine crisis that is both external and internal to the Church. He said "In the last decades, a profound crisis is shaking the foundations of European culture. A new raison d'etat imposes its law and tries to relegate the Christian roots of Europe to a secondary plane. It would seem that, in the name of secularism, the Bible must be relativised, to be dissolved in a religious pluralism and disappear as a normative cultural reference."
>Ouellet believes that many Catholics interpreted the teachings of the Second Vatican Council in far too liberal a way and by doing so disconnected from the core of their faith. Relativism led to priests abandoning celibacy, a drop in proper religious education, and a general infusion of leftist politics – all of which was not the intention of the council. Ouellet stated: “After the council, the sense of mission was replaced by the idea of dialogue. That we should dialogue with other faiths and not attempt to bring them the Gospels, to convert. Since then, relativism has been developing more broadly.”
>At a pro-life rally in 2010, Ouellet said that women who had become pregnant from rape should be denied abortions, saying "There's already a victim. Should we be making another one?" In May 2010 Ouellet stood by his comments that abortion is unjustifiable, even in the case of rape, and urged the federal government to help pregnant women keep their child. He said that "Governments are funding clinics for abortion. I would like equity for organizations that are defending also life. If we have equity in funding those instances to help women I think we would make lots of progress in Canada".
Hi Anons. This is the first time I've ever responded to this sort of thread.
How to come back to the Holy Catholic Church after years of teenage ''edgy'' atheism and the scandals in my country?
I'd like to be able to believe again but I don't know what's stopping me...

I got the book but haven't had a chance to read it yet. Been busy with a lot of other things. I'll try to read it tonight now that I have some free time. Glad it arrived safely.
Jaxon Ross
A politician must not judge the value of a religion by its faults. Instead he should ask if there is an available substitute which fits his needs more closely.
As long as there is no substitute for religion, only a fool or criminal would consider abolishing an existing religion.
The Church must take its share of responsibility for those who overload religion with purely earthly concerns and unnecessarily battle against exact science. They spend too much time arguing about physical matters when they should be focused on the spirit. After a difficult struggle, science will almost always win. In the eyes of people unable to see through the superficial nature of science, religion will be severely damaged. The worst chaos is created when religion is used for political purposes. Such miserable deceivers who see religion as a means for gaining themselves political, or rather business power and should be harshly condemned. Of course, these bold liars shout their claims of faith to all the world in a very loud tone so that the other sinners will have no choice but to hear their proclamation clearly. Their smiles do not express a willingness to die for their beliefs, but instead their aim is to improve their own lives. For enough money or political favors, they would sell the meaning of an entire faith and they would do it for a single fraudulent gain if they felt the value was a fair exchange. For ten seats in Parliament, they will join the deadly Marxists who are enemies of all religions. For a seat in the Cabinet they would marry the Devil himself, that is, if he was not prevented by some trace of decency which is more than these charlatans possess.
Religious life in pre-war Germany had left an unpleasant taste in many people’s mouths because of the abuse of Christianity by “Christian” political parties and as a result of boldness from those who attempted to associate the Catholic faith with a political party.
