Why wasnt slavery immoral ?

why wasnt slavery immoral ?

Hierarchy

because of libertarian

slavery was used to pay off debt, but the egyptians were the ones that beat their slaves

It kinda was immoral? But nobody cared.

If it makes you feel any better people on wages and salaries wear the new slave collar. Unfortunately if you want large amounts of money on a regular basis it's the only realistic way to be accepted & continue in modern society.

Because enslaving lesser beings to advance the goals of your own group is a good survival tactic.

Because it was rigtheous

The Egyptians didn't use slaves to build the pyramids, they used laborers. The workers building the pyramids were paid two jugs of beer.

Because workforce was not supplied by machines and fossil fuels.

Ungrateful bahstids!

It all depends on what you define as moral OP. Some people didn't subscribe to the modern morals of western society, and owned slaves as a result.

It wasn't moral at any point or under any real justification, but rather the lesser of two evils. If you conquered some people, you would generally give them the choice between slavery and death, and most people would chose slavery over death.
Not every society treated slaves like shit, e.g. Rome. Rome even got to the point where people were declaring themselves to be slaves for tax avoidance reasons.

The pyramids were not built by slaves, they were built by farmers who needed something to do in the off-season so public work projects were established. They've found records of the workers being paid in beer and how much needed to be requisitioned to pay the workers. Showing that paying construction workers in beer is a thousands of years old tradition.

It wasn't very nice but people weren't too interested in slaves' feelings back then.

People actually dumb enough to think you can get big works of engineering done with unmotivated workers.

Where slaves use in a lot of shit? Yes.

Where they the majority and useful resources? No.

Not even for farming.

capitalism

moral is a social construction

because automation and specialization made goyim more productive than piss poor third world slaves.
Dumping slavery and moving towards modern society was something like how reaganomics are supposed to work - you grow goyim capacity to pay tax so you can tax them out the ass 10 years down the road.

violation of property rights. The forceful theft of someone labor.

so? what difference does that make?

Idk if immoral but slavery is actually a shit method to produce anything as there's very little incentive for anything. The only good thing about it is that it reduces costs.

Didn't they already disprove the theory that slaves built the piramids?

Some people like abuse and may enjoy role playing like submissive type shit.

slaves are cowards
