The Heritage blueprint used as a basis for Trump’s proposed cuts calls for eliminating several programs that conservatives label corporate welfare programs: the Minority Business Development Agency, the Economic Development Administration, the International Trade Administration and the Manufacturing Extension Partnership. The total savings from cutting these four programs would amount to nearly $900 million in 2017.
At the Department of Justice, the blueprint calls for eliminating the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services, Violence Against Women Grants and the Legal Services Corporation and for reducing funding for its Civil Rights and its Environment and Natural Resources divisions.
At the Department of Energy, it would roll back funding for nuclear physics and advanced scientific computing research to 2008 levels, eliminate the Office of Electricity, eliminate the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and scrap the Office of Fossil Energy, which focuses on technologies to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
>not trying to get off oil >forever chained to arabs why are you neo-cons so fucking stupid? getting off oil is a good thing, but because liberals drive priuses, you automatically become fucking psycho sucking Exxon dick.
Wyatt Hill
>Trump will pay off the national debt and be running a budget surplus in a single term.
GOD EMPEROR
Matthew Smith
No Donald pls don't cut DoE funding I need it
Henry Cook
Okay, over 10 years, that sounds reasonable.
The first four programs OP mentioned are hardly worth talking about, just let their funding stand I'd say.
Most of the offices in the second paragraph are also piddly shit in terms of funding, even over 10 years.
The Office of Electricity and Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy and Fossil Energy are things I could see making a dent though. Not sure if they're worth it.
Cutting spending is only worth it if it yields a worthwhile outcome, Energy standards for efficiency are something that help on the innovation end of things imo.
I don't see why they would be rolling back spending on Nuclear and computing research, that shit is cash. If Trump is pro nuclear energy (and, by extension, pro America) he ought to be trying to shift the whole country to nuclear.
James Nelson
Nuke industry is dying due to low energy prices. Plants closing much faster than expected , vogtle 3 and 4 are only units under construction
Justin Howard
Those office are nothing more than carbon trading al gore scams. Don't let their name fool you, it's legalized corruption.
Lucas Adams
Get back to work Kevin!
Lucas Bailey
We have so many of these obscure bullshit depts sucking money off the taxpayer to fund themselves. They're pennies on the national level alone, but there's just so many of these piddly shit depts, that cutting them all shows just how much fucking money we are currently wasting.
I am sad he's cutting back nuclear research though. We really need to get on those MSRs.
Christopher White
>it would roll back funding for nuclear physics This is bad. The rest is good.
Nathan Garcia
If this actually happens I will cum to this.
Thomas Wright
God bless his enterprise.
Tyler Lee
I was worried about this part, but it seems they fund a bunch of green energy initiatives through this and the advanced scientific computing department, and those sub-programs are having their funding cut
Carter Howard
Goys, we're actually making America great again... Meme magic cannot be stopped. Many such cases!
Nathan Morgan
Aim away from pets and loved ones.
Josiah Scott
Good good do whatever your koch masters tell you!

>Manufacturing Extension Partnership Shouldn't Trump keep this? This is his target audience.
Sebastian Morales
USA could be energy independent if we roll back Obama's bullshit directives and frack the shit out of Texas.
Ayden Young
But low energy prices at what cost? Let's play the risk game, since discussion over actual research is so volatile here. Let's say global warming isn't real: we pay more for energy maybe but we don't go without it. Our only cost is a slight economic one.
If Global Warming is real though: drastic meteorological and climate shifts will do two things that hurt our society: >Less Frequent but more extreme weather patterns push infrastructure past what it's designed to handle, hurting both the economy and public spending >Altered climate and weather patterns means breadbaskets can't reliably grow crops, metropolitan areas have their infrastructure strained and rural areas experience events they're not equipped to handle (the more frequent snow in the south is a good example)
Blake Williams
>USA could be energy independent
You mean continue being under the oil Jew of Exxon Mobile and continue destroy the planet for sheckles?
Noah Carter
Da six trillion gibs should go to money fo dem programs.
Zachary Perez
>(the more frequent snow in the south is a good example)
This isn't happening
>Altered climate and weather patterns means breadbaskets can't reliably grow crops
If climate change is real in the sense the msm wants us to believe, then there should be increased h2o in the atmosphere. Meaning greater rainfall and greening of deserts. This is happening in Morocco, but seemingly nowhere else.
Chase Mitchell
who cares you faggot you will be dead 50000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 years before the planet is destroyed
Grayson Edwards
Morocco will be the only one to suffer global warming. KEK
Samuel Murphy
Amount to nearly 900 Million ?
This is nothing,l did you mean to write 900 Billion ?
Nicholas Jackson
Its 4 small departments that amount to $900m/yr. Shit like this is going to get cut left and right. it'll add up fast.
Levi James
Given this and the countless others that are being SHIT on by Trump, I have one question:
How likely on a scale of 0-10 is it that an assassination attempt is going to be made on Trump? It seems really fucking likely. He has pissed off a large number of people in control of a lot of nasty, powerful shit. (almost literally in some cases)
Bentley Morgan
See, libniggers this is what you get when you get someone who actually knows how to manage businesses and finances instead of being an establishment cuck into the presidency
Jacob Jones
Apparently Trump's meeting with the CIA on either Friday or over weekend to attempt a reconciliation
Kayden Nguyen
Checked. Kek wills it!
Benjamin Anderson
Ok I see but still. basically those 4 departments are 1 Billion Dollar. He would need to cut 40000 such departments to get to 10 Trillion.
Jeremiah Nguyen
I'm not talking about the MSM, I'm talking about meteorology. Holes in the Ozone allow for more heat to enter, creating more heat fronts and affecting how weather patterns occur and how they travel.
Luis Reyes
proofs?
Adam Torres
We're talking about the same thing senpai.
Michael Gray
I will always remember ted posting.
Hunter Powell
He should just cut welfare and watch the hilarity. How to cause a chimp-out in 1 easy step!
Na, but seriously, basic income is better than current welfare systems because >95% of the system is purely automated, getting rid of a FUCKTON of government overhead.
People seriously don't realize just how much overhead is in the welfare systems in the US and UK and most of Europe. Hell, here in the good ol UK, the cuts by the Conservative government has led to councils around the country redistributing welfare to support services, redistributing social care budgets, specialist care budgets and everything in to supporting services they were NOT intended for! It's fucking stupid that you can't even trust local governing bodies to be responsible. There's loads more examples of abuse in local bodies fucking with the finances, even real scummy cunts STEALING the money. (some have been found out, there are likely way more doing it)
Eliminating all those wasted jobs would be far better. Large public sector is horrible for budgets. There only needs to be a handful of people most that are needed to deal with weird edge cases in the system, which should mostly be eliminated via automating said system. Just like there are General Practitioners for medical, there should be a General Financial Officer for dealing with everything related to weird financial issues that crop up. Not fucking 50 of them across several different buildings!
Jack Scott
million < N.Y. lotto Mega Millions(tm) < billion < biyyons and biyyuns < trillion

LEO here. Community oriented policing actually fucking works in homogenous white communities and some hispanic communities and we shouldn't get rid of it.

>he believes the feminist hype that violence against women was ever socially acceptable
