What terms would you use to describe the political, philosophical, social, cultural, and economic worldview of Millennial Woes? Beyond generic terms like "alt-right" or "white nationalist." I'm looking for what particular niches within the alt-right you would describe him as occupying.
I'm asking for selfish reasons. My views are more similar to MW's than to anyone else on the alt-right, so if I can classify him, I can begin to classify myself.

I would mostly agree with that assessment, but...
1, he himself doesn't identify with NRx, and has said that he doesn't even keep up with them anymore and regards them as a separate movement these days
2, he seems opposed to some of the more dark enlightenment aspects of NRx. He's spoken out several times against theocracy, restricted speech, and moral totalitarianism. I don't think MW would be happy in the Catholic monarchy most dark enlightenment neoractionaries want to set up.
I'd say he's alt-right, white nationalist, gender traditionalist, moral traditionalist but also a moral realist.

but his stance on the faggot question does set him apart from a lot of the spergs on the alt-right. He seems to be ok with people deviating from moral norms in their private lives so long as they don't publicly challenge the moral ideals. Which makes me reluctant to fully lump him in with NRx or with the majority of the alt-right, who take a more puritanical approach to moral issues.
He's an amateur intellectual liberal which opposes contemporary progressive policy and ideology for being authoritarian and willfully ignorant towards scientific facts. This makes him appear outwardly "alt-right" because he routinely disagrees with "leftist" policies and has a nationalist bent, contrary to mainstream political right ideology.
He's a pretty nice guy as far as I can tell as an aside. Does a lot of good work for the community and brings a tempered voice to the movement that is sorely needed. He does well with women and is good for catching the soccer mom audience, even if his filming style is somewhat dreary or nihilistic. MW is actually the one who got me into exploring white nationalism more earnestly and got me to really critically examine the JQ.
His tempered voice is what I like too, but I disagree that he attracts women to the movement. Maybe he's attracted a handful, but I doubt many women would have the patience to sit through a 70 minute philosophy video.
His video style is certainly dreary but I'd say he's anything but nihilistic. He seems to regard nihilism as our biggest enemy at the moment.

He's an alt-right Sargon. He sits in front of a camera and talks about his personal feelings on a subject. He never cites or references anything.
I was banned from his channel after pointing out that his review of 12 years a slave couldn't be very good because in the same video he says he hasn't watched it.
I'll admit my experience is limited to mainly the youtube/hangouts community. There, he's attracted the most women I've seen and that's especially true if you are counting female content creators. I think you'd be surprised about what women will watch because in a traditional format they have a lot of free time around the house or can listen to him while doing routine chores. Provided they're interested in his message, they'd have a decent amount of time to just listen to him.
I agree that he's opposed to nihilism. What I mean is that he seems naturally attuned to nihilism. He went through a nihilist phase and has studied it fairly extensively. I suppose he's turned his back on nihilism which is for the best, but there's still an aura of it in his work.
His stance on the JQ is perfect for beginners. Spergs can just check themselves. Both Hitler and Rockwell wrote of the same experience with the JQ, rejecting initial exposure to it as racist ranting and then later reconsidering their position as they investigated further. MW gives people the chance to get familiar with the JQ in an environment where they don't feel repulsed or guilty about watching/listening.
He doesn't reference other political thinkers or philosophers very often, but I think that makes him more accessible to non-academics. You don't have to have any particular background to follow his videos, just an open and fairly sharp mind. His logic is pretty solid; I don't agree with absolutely all of his positions, but most of his positions follow from a clear line of reasoning.
He does cite media articles fairly often though, like in his review videos, where he goes through all the stories that he's saved.

What is the youtube-hangouts community centered around? Is it mostly just in youtube comment sections?
I want to get more involved in the community that has gathered around MW, especially if he ever starts uploading videos again, but I've had trouble locating the nucleus of his community.

Pretty much my experience. But after a while the overwhelming evidence becomes just irrefutable. "Gas all Jews! 14/88" is wrong, but you cannot deny a disastrous effect of their diaspora on their host nations.
What also red pilled me on their influence was this US election: Soros sock puppet Hillary Clinton, proud Jew Bernie Sanders and Trumpenstein who had more Jewish connections than all the other candidates.

I think MW is pretty thoroughly opposed to thought totalitiarianism, from either the right or left. He's opposed to pure democracy/capitalism, while at the same time not being totalitarian on issues of speech and thought. I like that about him, because it's close to my own set of views.
For me, I actually went hardcore "gas the kikes" FIRST, and then settled down into a more mellow approach to the JQ afterwards. I still regard them as nonwhite and want them deported, and I'll never be able to "un-see" the negative impact of their disproportionate power in white countries. But the constant homicidal ranting about them on the TRS boards and other places got old for me after a while.

Israelis are fine as long as they stay in Israel and support white nationalism in white countries, IMO. It's Jews who have a double standard and want to ride the West into the ground that I dislike.
Youtube is mainly channels and related channels, so that's like all the names you see around here occasionally. MW, Black Pigeon Speaks, Sargon of Akkad, etc. Hangouts is the service by Google that these guys are using where you see up to 10 avatars ( or like 20 with commercial mode ) in the same call together. It's big topics cover a broad range including things like the God debate etc.
Basically, anyone can make a youtube channel and host a hangout. You could even do so relatively anonymously if you wanted to. Go look at MW and related channels. He's also done several hangouts for content creators/networking purposes and is regularly featured on britpol threads.
I think you can be 14/88 and still have a relatively moderate position on the jews. I think that the traitorous jewish intellectuals should be hung and that the rest should either fully assimilate or live in Israel.

why do you need a label to classify thought under? this is why there is divisiveness in America, because instead of listening and trying to understand something they simply look for a blanket term to out it under and catalog it away in the PC/non-PC shuffle
