The police don't go along with civilian interference unless someone's life is seriously threatened. We could help detain if we see a struggle, but legally that's about it.

The point of the other thread is the create a new group that, while similar to the concept of minutemen, isn't just a 1776 LARP. Picking a different name and a common enemy (communism, antifa) is the easiest thing to get us on the map

This logo fucking sucks. Not only is the headshape reminiscent of a hammer (and thus calls to mind dipshit fascist groups like the Hammerskins and the Commie Hammer/Sickle), but the eagle's wings have the angular associated with the Nazi cucks.
If you're going to go for "simple eagle shape," base it on the existing Seal of the United States or an American Indian Thunderbird (and continue the proud tradition of co-opting native culture for America).

We need social media presence. There are hundred of fractured Instagram/Facebook/Twitter groups of conservatives and libertarians with similiar minsets, all ranging between hundreds to thousands of followers each.
If we could unite all of them under one flag, we'd have a decent force to reckon with.

This is a major problem I've talked about with some people. We need our own Soros, but I have no idea where to even start looking. Usually its the billionaires that find you. The idea of "helping cops" is fucking dumb. Minutemen should only be armed and ready to fight Antifa if the situation deteriorates to the point of the L.A. Riots, in which case the Minutemen should actually act as a Minuteman Militia and prepare to protect their neighborhoods. Otherwise, the idea should be to antagonize Antifa, make them look stupid, and give them opportunities to get arrested.

I'd agree with that. Prepare to take a punch as well, if we're going to antagonize them into being arrested. National Guard will probably take care of most bad situations, but a reactive group that defends properties from roving mobs isn't a bad idea. Probably the only way helping cops is feasible. They still need to be bussed in though. Most right wingers don't live anywhere near major cities where this occurs. That takes money.
The real thing you want to do is find a weekend when the Antifa are going to do a protest... and camp out across from them with a tailgate/grill out.
Lacks a lot of organization. Antifa and the like has guarantees of it. I'm not gonna get surrounded by 1,000 antifa all by myself, and I think this is a lot people's concern as well. There needs to be meet ups, programs, places to meet, times to meet, coordination, getting people to the location who can't otherwise get there, and it would likely only be on a Saturday. No one wants to get in a fight Sunday night with work the next day to drive miles back, or beat ass up to a metro right after work on Friday. Friday maybe, but you get my point.

What laws does forming this fall under
This isn't a new idea. There's countless organizations out there. The issue is they're either infiltrated to hell and back by various forms of LE agencies, they follow niche ideologies with no national appeal (fascist, crypto-fascist, specific religious sects, racial supremacists, and so on), utterly irrelevant unless there's a total breakdown in civil society or war (i.e. militias) or they appear to be one of these things which is effectively the same. All of this drives away potentially sympathetic people, for one reason or another.
Combine this with people not even understanding what they want to do or the logistics of it, and you've got a DOA movement. And that's what it is and what it needs to be: a movement. Start it off as an idea. Antifa didn't start off as "we need to protest and riot." It started as "man, fuck fascists!" And it mutated, slowly, into gathering together adhoc. Then making signage. Then getting more and more aggressive. And now, antifa has a well established methodology and reputation. It has cultural norms within its movement that pushes even brand new recruits into rock tossing, sucker punching rioters.
So, if you guys are serious, start small. Have several people communicating with the same terms and symbols. Do it in public. Have an agreed upon mission statement. Evolve from there as you grow. Don't jump straight to bussing people in to fight antifa. That's counting your chickens before you even have a farm.

My recommendation: focus on American and Enlightenment principles. All men are created equal, justice is blind, self-sufficiency, objectivity, individualism.
All men are created equal: No preference for race, gender, or creed. Neither for, or against. That means fighting against this obvious bias in favor of non-whites that is currently happening. That means treating them just like any White man would be treated, for good or ill. Hammer that. No preferential treatment for anyone. No leg up for something that occurred centuries ago.
Justice is blind: Similar to equality, but you should also focus on corruption. No politician or police officer should be let off easy because of who they are. That will win over people who were sympathetic to BLM because of it but aren't 100% with the anti-white direction it's taken. Corrupt politicians should also be another key point. Out the ones that have been paid off as they are usually the ones that are pro-globalist. Frame it as returning power back to the citizens, and you'll increase your appeal again.
Self-sufficiency: Everyman should be able to feed him and his family with a 40 hour work week. No one who is capable of working should be on welfare. You can not rely on others for everything. Especially the government. It is far too fickle and unreliable. Use Trump as a perfect example of this. In one fell swoop, the Left's ideal world has been shattered and they're scared because they can't imagine a world where the government isn't the ultimate force. And this has permeated the public's thinking. Demonstrate an alternative while also championing the working class.
Objectivity: Use facts, stats, studies, etc as often as possible when arguing. Do not start with an idea then find facts, find facts and then let the idea form from them. Make a point of adhering to what the reality of a situation is.
