What happens when the UN is gone?

No security council? No resolutions?

HTF does the world look like? We haven't lived without shit like the UN for so many years I don't even know what to expect

There will be more direct conflicts because they'll have less avenues for cooperation and peaceful conflict resolution.

IE, we're probably going to wind up with another total war in Europe this time with nukes.

Good.

No more aid programs
No more blue helmets
No more Security Council
No more global diplomacy.

It's gonna degenerate into WWIII very quickly in other words. But hey, whoever wins (and if we don't JUST mankind with nukes) gets to rule the world.

How is that good? You want to die?

What a load of crap. Most conflicts in the 3rd world were solved not by UN, but by the corresponding colonial power. French went and pressured/intervened their former shitholes, UK the same etc.

No more Pakistani troops raping babies in their area of operation.

Too bad that initiative is just a bill which will be killed in the House right away.

UN is cancer. EU is cancer.

Oh, and remember Bosnia? That's right, without NATO shitheads at the time and Clinton, we would not have a mudslime training camp in the middle of Europe/

We're not talking about 3rd world conflicts. we're talking about first world conflicts.

The UN won't disappear. Europe will probably be the new leader of globalism. However, the other major powers will probably leave as well.

The UN doesn't prevent first world conflicts, MAD does.

There's no MAD in a conflict between say France and Germany for the 3rd fucking time. There's just Germany getting nuked.

It would look exactly like how it is today, but with less "resolutions"

You people that think the UN has any actual power are deluded retards.

The UN only has as much power as the member nation give it, which is why it historically has been so inefficient.

It wouldn't make much of a difference if the UN disappeared

we wouldn't get to have North Korea and Iran serving on Human Rights committees any longer

>what happens when the UN is gone
Well for starters the USA will not have a bunch of globalists calling us racist for not taking in niggers and Muslims

Nothing, at most a couple more wars in Africa and the middle east.

If you think UN will have a role in a France-German conflict.... it will be a war between to mudslime armies there anyway.

UN was founded in 1945. They did not mediate one single conflict in 1st world because there was none. And they could never do this because (former) 1st world each have veto powers

TWO mudslime armies, dammit

Literally nothing of actual import will change. The UN does fuck all.

>make body dedicated to giving more diplomatic channels for conflict resolution instead of war
>no major wars in western Europe for its existence
>somehow it's not doing its job

Now I wouldn't credit it entirely to the UN, it's a small part really, the bigger parts are NATO and the EU, but as we've seen, Trump is threatening NATO saying it's obsolete and Nationalism is starting to break apart the EU. Take the UN away as well and have a lot of nationalism in western Europe and you'll see some fucking world wars again.

Getting traditional enemies to cooperate and become allies is what prevents wars.

peace has created a society of weak man and gave the jew the upperhand
it's time for another purge

>implying diplomacy didn't exist before the UN
>implying relevant countries wouldn't find an alternative channel for diplomatic efforts

But it is partially true that the UN acts like a stabilizer, or rather a retardant, by imposing American interests and policies on everyone ("muh freedum, muh (((western values))), muh petrodollar"). It has, however, slowly but steadily slipped out of American hands and as such it has backfired, so now the USA want out of it - more than they already did. Yes, if the UN were to close its offices we would see an uptick in conflicts around the globe as countries will struggle for leftovers in the power vacuum. Even in highly developed nations there will likely be happenings (genocide conflicting ethnic groups *winky winky*).

Probably the most awkward thing will be how to handle world sea and air traveling. Before the UN colonial empires controlled their respective empires' seas and key locations (ports, straits, canals) and by giving preferential treatment to national shippings they would ensure their own superiority; then the USA came and it imposed its model based on freedom of navigation, but to ensure it the USA are required to maintain a worldwide overwhelmingly stronger navy than any of its possible opponents, as well as being constantly involved in any local conflict that could threaten such freedom. And since in our case the USA left the UN, likely to pursue an isolationist policy, that would lead to the need to either form a new system, restore and old one, or end up with piracy everywhere. Same thing, but without piracy, would apply to air travel.

That said the (((UN))) is a cancerous organization, and I hope it rots in hell.

>Getting traditional enemies to cooperate and become allies is what prevents wars.
yeah maybe the west can wake up and finally get rid of mudslimes

Nothing. The UN doesn't do anything except promote feminism while pretending to be relevant.

There will be no traveling.
You work your ass off building bunkers.

The UN is being used against us and our interests. We never needed it in the first place. They fucked themselves.

trust me, there wont me another european war
even though we talk shit about each other, there wont be a war
i would rather be scared if i was you usa, depending on what you will do in the comming years, there could be a usa - china war, a russia/china - us war, or a eu/russian/china - us war, so i would be more concerned about your place in this world

>What happens when the UN is gone?

We don't hear about them being deeply concerned anymore.

The lion wakes up.

Finally Germany will be destroyed?

No more strongly-worded letters either.

I seriously don't see why European states would attack each other. I don't feel like that's something that would ever go down with the populations. For all the bitching we do at each other, I feel like many of us grew more sympathy for others. We are all in this together. I could possibly see some retarded slavs duke it out, or stuff like catalonia etc go for it, but those are more internal conflicts.

1. Yes,
2. I want to see Europeans die. Most of them are muslims anyway at this point. See it as a radioactive crusade.

except that nuclear fallout goes up into the atmosphere and goes all around the world.

You detonate enough bombs in Europe you'll kill off agriculture half a world away.

Collateral damage.

... we're the agriculture half a world away that'd be getting killed off.

Whoooooooooo

TRUMP WILL FIGHT FOR ISRAEL IN THE UN BECAUSE GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE!

>liberals still think a nuclear war is going to break out

so how much money are you willing to give in order to keep the UN alive, cuck?

We get to genocide the Muslims and nobody will be able to stop us.

>The UN prevents war

listen to the based romanian. The UN and EU is filled with self-centered kikes who only crave shekels

what's cheaper, the UN, or a total war between industrialized nations?

Well, I laugh, Western Europe gets to learn what it is like to pay for a real military and all the irrelevant countries that get to pretend they matter because of the un now how to figure out a way to not get anal invaded by any country with a large military on the day all of this goes into effect.

diplomacy prevents war.

The UN is an avenue for diplomacy. So is NATO, so is the EU.

We're burning those bridges one by one though.

Which means they will be the leader of nothing of actual value.

You don't need the UN for diplomacy

Probably nothing desu
>implying you need to be in a special club with blue hats to have global diplomacy

>telling some poeple they cant build houses in their own country
>avenues for cooperation
nice meme
im glad we can be done with this UN shit.

We have embassies and diplomats in almost every nation around the world.

We'll just have to deal with less freeloaders from shit countries acting like royalty in New York.

I think we'll survive.

We had embassies and diplomats prior to WWI too.

Didn't seem to help prevent sparking a major total war over one assassination though.

Any country can be diplomatic you don't need a globalist orginisation to do that you just have to not be a nigger

There won't be anexo european war because they are already all under one control. Um wants a global socialist single rule. When it falls like the league of nations, It will be replaced so that freedom of navigation os maintained

Hope it finally solves the european question. Been growing worse since the 60s and totally degenerate since at least the 90s

Good

>The UN is an avenue for diplomacy. So is NATO, so is the EU.
both UN and EU are nothing but a huge joke in the current year, especially UN.
can you take seriously an organization where nations like saudi arabia sits in the "human rights council"

Is UN codeword for nukes and the cold war? Cause thats what prevented wars in europe. MAD and the soviet threat, plus the occupation of half of europe by the USSR and heavy american military presence in the other half

so the solution is to just disband it and have wars spark over the most miniscule things ever because the rest of the world doesn't try to prevent the war by backing up diplomacy efforts?

I mean

Before the UN

We probably would have had a major war over Crimea, instead of sanctions, because one of the things the UN does, is provide a means for multiple countries to collectively sanction a political body that it deems is in violation of international law.

We probably would have invaded Iran, and North Korea as well.

I just can't imagine there could be a world war in the old style anymore. We are all getting along pretty well. USA, Japan, France, UK, Germany and even Russia and China. Of course there is some trouble sometimes but nothing that could lead us to have a war against each other.

And the League of Nations did nothing to prevent WW2.

Basically the US won't have to fight for other shit nations anymore and other countries will have to stop milking us for cash

>B-B-BUT WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITHOUT THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS????
Shit will carry one like it always has

largely because only a few countries were even in it and nobody took it seriously.

People can sanction whoever they want with no UN. Just have usual summits without all the people working in the UN doing no good and not accountable to anyone.

The UN has no power to enforce shit and big powers do whatever the fuck they want anyway. Did the UN stop Crimean what do Brasil and Malaysia have to do with Crimea for their vote to be worth as much as Ukraine's in the UN?

Why do small african dictatorzhips get as much of a say as Japan in discussions not related to either party? In The Cold War USA and USSR had a direct line with each other, thats what helps ease tensions, not the UN. NATO was relevant, nit the UN where anything relevant against majornpowers get vetoed

International treaties dont need it either. They are enforced by member countries, not ban ki moon

At most stuff like peacekeeping might get harder to do, but then you can just create a World Peacekeeping Organization for this.

No need for all the shit in the UN and the retarded idea that China and Saudi Arabia will protect human rights.

You'd even have G20, defense colaboration, etc.

Most of the real deal is already bilateral or multilateral with only a few countries.

Keep the recognition system too

At least downgrade it since its not accountable to anyone but bureaucrats and retired politicians

We can't exploit it for our gain like we did with the leveraging the PRC against the USSR or the UN intervention of Korea.

Merely exiting the UN will cause more problems then if we ended the whole institution.
