Did Germany come to develop nuclear weapons?

Did Germany come to develop nuclear weapons?

30 days they were off from winning WW2. They were close, yes.

>Germany
>winning

I'll take "Things that stopped happening after 1871", Alec.

Maybe sabotage?

They were years and years behind

British sabotage operations on their heavy water plant in Norway put them even further behind

They were fucking injecting people's irises with petrol to change their eye color, and making the human centipede... Do you think the germans were intelligent enough to master nuclear fission and develop an atomic weaponry?

Moscow and London out of the map in 30 secs

Nope, they got rid of the Jews, nukes are literally Jewish creation

Just jews, man.

>mfw there is an alternate reality where Germany won
>mfw mf

Where do you think you got the 3 warheads from, burger.

Inb4 infographs with outdated sources and retarded history made up by wehraboos

The UK developed its own nukes, USSR stole the tech from the US, Germany still doesn't have them

shut up you fucking liar. youve been watching too much jew propaganda

if they were so far behind, what about v2?

This is a myth. The Germans were nowhere near developing nuclear weapons. Heisenberg honestly believed that there wasn't enough material in the world to create a bomb, they were about a decade off from it even while the US was splitting the atom and the UK was beginning to develop its own bombs.

And even if Germany had the technical knowledge to make a bomb, they lacked the resources. The US was able to pull it off because of the absurd size of its economy, allowing it to fight a war on two fronts and develop a bomb at the same time. And even then it took about 5 years. If Germany had tried to do the same thing, they would have had Soviets waltzing into Berlin by 1943.

They only don't have them only because it's not a good idea for Germans to have nukes and they agreed with this.

V2 is a rocket. A rocket is not a nuclear bomb, it's just a delivery system for explosives.

The warheads were american technology that were sold before we were involved in the war. We just confiscated them once we knew the germans weren't capable of handling them.

haha nothing smells better than rustled jimmies.

Just to clarify, Germany had finite resources and manpower. Every bit of money, time, energy they put into a nuclear program would be less time and energy put into the Luftwaffe, Wehrmacht, and Kriegsmarine. They would have been sabotaging their own war effort, and they would have been defeated conventionally long before successfully creating their own nuke.

And this is assuming, of course, that their scientists weren't so incredibly mistaken about how to build a nuke. The idea of Germany successfully building nuclear weapons is so far-fetched that it borders on science fiction. I'm not sure why it's such a popular idea.

so, what about the secret weapons? just a lie?

that's a rocket, a propulsion system, not an atomic weapon

they were ahead on rocket design, what they used it for was a total waste though, V2 was completely ineffectual for how much it cost

If by "the secret weapons" you're referring to a mystical super-advanced Nazi nuclear program, then yeah, it's a lie. If you're talking about the incredibly powerful chemical weapons they developed, then no, that's a fact, and they definitely could have used it.

Just imagine if the Germans put some sarin gas in the warhead of a V-2 rocket aimed at London....but they chose not to, because they weren't literally retarded. If they had tried that, the UK would have dropped so much anthrax on their country that it would still be uninhabitable to this day.

Essentially yes, wonder weapons don't win wars. Why build a single supertank that is unreliable as hell when you can build 10 regular tanks that are? Propaganda.

more of a meme than a lie, none of them could be created in sufficient numbers to actually turn the tide of the war

jet fighters? not bad, being deployed in small numbers in 1945 = pointless

long range bombers that could reach the US, might have worked if they hadn't been steamrolled before they could even get them operational

except for some kind of chemical attack like said, which they didn't do for a reason

What about that Nazi Bell bullshit?

just find the cure to anthrax then drop it on another bomb duh

>Bullshit
It's in the name user.

I'm assuming this is a joke, but yeah, that is bullshit.

Idk. The UK tested their anthrax on a small island off the coast Scotland, and it was so powerful that they had to literally remove the topsoil of the *entire* island to make the place safe for animal habitation again.

There is an alternate universe out there where for whatever reason, the US doesn't get involved in Europe, the USSR fails to stop Operation Barbarossa, and the UK just straight-up turns all of Germany into an uninhabitable wasteland. I know our media and even British media likes to romanticize things as "brave little Britain fighting against all odds", but they had the power to basically kill everyone in Germany. They just chose not to use it, partially out of a sense of human decency and partially because the Germans could have retaliated with Sarin gas before they all died a slow painful death themselves.

Yes. Didn't you know? Germany invented the nuclear bomb, not the Americans, and instead of using it to win the war, they blew up a village full of 20,000 Jews. It was proved at Nuremberg goy.

its a meme but it got close, they thought if you took red mercury and spun it around with high amounts of electricity with fans was a super weapon. The nazis were visionarys not really weapon makers, besides there prototype planes are used today like the b2

>Idk. The UK tested their anthrax on a small island off the coast Scotland, and it was so powerful that they had to literally remove the topsoil of the *entire* island to make the place safe for animal habitation again.

I can't remember the exact name of the place b/c I am very drunk, but I'm sure one of these British anons can tell you what it is or you can google it yourself. It's seriously terrifying shit. They doused the place with Anthrax in 1945, and iirc it wasn't safe until 1993, after they worked on the island so much that I think you could call it "terraforming" without it being much of an exaggeration.

It's absolutely terrifying, what they could have done to Germany if they had been truly pushed to the brink makes the Holocaust and the Japanese rape/murderfest in China look like a snowball fight.

Gruinard Island

>Operation Vegetarian was a British military plan in 1942 to disseminate linseed cakes infected with anthrax spores onto the fields of Germany. These cakes would have been eaten by the cattle, which would then be consumed by the civilian population, causing the deaths of millions of German citizens. Furthermore, it would have wiped out the majority of Germany's cattle, creating a massive food shortage for the rest of the population that remained uninfected.[1]

>The cakes themselves were tested on Gruinard Island, just off the coast of Scotland. Because of the widespread contamination from the anthrax, the land remained a no-go area until 1990. The five million cakes made to be disseminated in Germany were eventually destroyed in an incinerator shortly after World War II ended in 1945

They didn't because they knew what horror it would unleash to the world. Seriously the german scientists said that they stopped doing research because it was too dangerous. The american scientists however continued on with what they did and they could not stop it because it was too late.

Imagine what the world would be like today if the Brits actually went through with it and succeeded.

If there is any and there most likely is it is in area 51. That is where a great deal of the captured nazi scientists went.

Otto Hahn discovered nuclear fission dipshit

the bongs would have saved Europe twice

what's the matter? a little triggered by facts? He was a Jew, not a german. Can you not read? I mean I am not too surprised since you're refuting what is objectively true.

"Hahn was an opponent of National socialism 1933-1945 and Jewish persecution by the Nazi Party."

The Germans had neither the intellectual prowess or resources.

I am also disappointed and ashamed that I have to share the same country with you.. America is the land of the superior. We do and will to rule this world for millenia
