What would the Founding Fathers have thought about Adolf Hitler and National Socialism?
What would the Founding Fathers have thought about Adolf Hitler and National Socialism?
They would be National Socialists.
Probably not too keen on the socialism bit
They would have went to war with them. They stood for freedom, not tyranny.
they fought against the extreme tyranny of bourgeoisie capitalist ownership through paper and established peoples courts, peoples land ownership, peoples rights etc...
the same as the national socialists, the problems will be in the leadership of the party that founders would possibly differ?
founders would like to retain the authoritarianism in the modern age for obvious purposes but possibly introduce democracy when the subversion has been killed, same as NSDAP, NSDAP was a temporary party and was not meant to be eternal.
Hitler was intent on having a community of mutual interest that desired mutual success instead of one that was divided over the control of money or differing values.
THE COMMON INTEREST BEFORE SELF-INTEREST -
THAT IS THE SPIRIT OF THE PROGRAM. BREAKING OF THE THRALDOM OF INTEREST - THAT IS THE KERNEL OF NATIONAL SOCIALISM.
In these straightforward statements of intent, Hitler translated his ideology into a plan of action which would prove its popularity with the German people throughout the coming years. For many, the abruptness of its departure from the tradition of politics as practiced in the western world was as much of a shock as its liberal nature and foresight of the emerging problems of western democracy.
The Programme of the German Workers' Party is designed to be of limited duration. The leaders have no intention, once the aims announced in it have been achieved, of establishing fresh ones, merely in order to increase, artificially, the discontent of the masses and so ensure the continued existence of the Party.
They practically were.
Why not?
The founders were more socialist than the rest of the world at the time, no classes or ranks.
Pretty much as much socialist as you could be at the time.
Decentralsed power and they are right
Fuck any kind of socialism with a big nanny state who knows best for you.
Including Adolf and his form of socialism
They would have joined the war against him, after much resistance.
Way different philosophical influences from drastically different eras.
Theyy would have thougt it a fine system to implement locally and none of the federal governments damn business
>none of the federal governments damn business
George Washington believed in federal power.
>Hitler
Hanged him.
>Fuck any kind of socialism with a big nanny state who knows best for you.
What if you're a nigger son of a single mom? Your mom obviously did not know what was best for her, and probably neither do you.
Why is giving shitheads a chance to be productive for society a bad thing?
>"Hey guys what do you think of my centralised government?"
>"Fuck off retard
For what?
lmfao
>"Hey guys what do you think of my centralised government?"
You realize the size of a state in the 13 colonies would be the size of Germany?
1488, you say? Fine year.
Adams and Hamilton would have supported socialism. Jefferson and Franklin would have killed Adams and Hamilton.
>this adolf hitler fellow you say?
>he made his country 100% white, and the people are happy?
>God bless him.
They would not have liked him, but they would also have disliked what America had become in 1930. They are products of the healthy age of the 18th century, and would not understand the decaying effects of modernity.
It's an impossible question because they would need to learn the history of the late 1800s and the 20th century, its science, its culture, its crises, and then make a decision based on their character.
I think Washington would choose the patton route
Franklin would be a liberal
Jefferson would have some high-minded shit but oppose hitler ultimately
Adams would fight against the communists with the nazis
Hamilton would just make bux off it
