Reddit bans Trump Supporters

How the fuck is this allowed?

Other urls found in this thread:

I would say because of "Net Neutrality", but it never became a law in the fist place. However, that would be the typical outcome if it had.
Also, it's private property, so they can do what the want.

this is some fake ass skankpost right?

>they can do whatever they want
No they can't, seems like they need to be regulated

link or didnt happen

link
also nationalized leddit and twatter when

link

>allowed
Isn't it up to them?
Don't use plebbit, simples.

Fuck, this is natural fascism.

Email Trump.

Tell Trump that the FTC and FCC need to investigate Reddit for allowing a CEO to secretly change user content without any logs that they did so and remove Reddit's Safe Harbor Status.

>leddit

That's captcha

Fuck off.

Lmao. Do something about it if you don't like it. It's not hard to ban evade.
Also don't post here ever again

...

You know, that actually is kind of correct. Isn't the average Redditor a leftist faggot? If it's real, the admins are protecting the "nation" from subversives.
Doesn't mean Trump shouldn't declare Reddit a common carrier.

Private company can do whatever the hell it want, fags.

>Even if this is obviously fake...

fake

proof or gtfo

...

No, OP provides proof or it's a stint the whole time.

The Guardian and Facebook ban people who find gays mentally sick, so what?

fuck off lolberg

This is for a specfic subreddit you retards. AutoModerator can be setup to be used by mods of any subreddit, but it applies only to their own reddit. This bot is free for anyone to use.

You could even make your own subreddit and use this bot to "ban all liberals" that post on your subreddit.

It's cuckdit who gives a fuck.

They cannot edit user posts without permission or they violate safe harbor. If they violate safe harbor, reddit becomes legally responsible for everything posted to the site. That is a very, very bad position for a messageboard to be in.

I think that's just a moderatorbot for that specific subreddit

think of an 8gag board banning all trump supporters, clearly the whole site isn't responsible for that

>this message is from the reddit admin team

Why hasn't Sup Forums destroyed Reddit?

I mean maliciously not in terms of competition.

Go to their site, and make stupid posts particularly "red-pilled" stuff. Do this every day for a year and I think Reddit will be ruined.

It really does deserve to be ruined at this point.

While we wait for this...

Who wants to bet tech stocks tank tomorrow when Wall Street realizes half of them are housed in sanctuary cities that are about to go to shit?

FUCK YOU NAZIS
> Thanks Reddit

If it's real, then it's allowed because they have a right to determine what appears on their website if they want to. Lol.

Streisand effect. they are banning trump supporters to further their support of trump

Private company can do what it wants. Except refusing to serve cake to gays apparently liberals get upset when someone interferes with their sugar rush.

They broke the rules, they were spamming those autistic Pepe Trump memes on subreddits with completely nothing to do with politics.

Simple as that, you would be complaining if the libs were pulling that shit, can't have it both ways.

>thinking this is something new

This has been going on for a fucking long time now.

> regulating private businesses

Are you a commie or what?

I went to the old peartree.
It gave me so much.
Niggers are an awful bunch.
Because they cuck me.

BAKE THE CAKE

If you believe this is something actually authorized by the reddit administrators, you might be clinically retarded. It takes literally seconds to check and see that subreddits like The_Donald are still up.

naw, you actually can't m8

their CEO could legit get fined and convicted for the possession of and posting of every single illegal link or other illegal material that's ever gone through the site

They weren't banning because they were spamming, if it was, they would've said
They were banned, because they were "Trump Supporters". As OP pic states.

Yeah, are you willing to risk jail for not cleaning your room?

Reddit is based.

Why are you still using that fucking site? It's obvious it only exists to push whatever flavor of the moment agenda the majority of it's users want pushed.

Also

>All these faggots admitting to going there and saying it doesn't happen. Still admitting to being crossposting cancer.

Sup Forums is dead because of this.

We really don't coordinate like we used to. We should take some time to assist each other in upvoting friendly Sup Forums posts and silencing detractors.

>trump supporters must remain in The_Donald

Hello Red ditor, are you clinically retard?

Thats just /r/Interporn

>Browsing leddit

Does that mean I can ban fags from my place of business? No? Then they can fix this shit, too.

I bet money that if you go to the Trump thread, and flood it with Hillary or liberal shit, you will get banned too. Anyone want to make a bet?
Also, I bet if you got to Sup Forums and start making Trump threads, you will also get banned. I'm sure of it.

This is from /r/imgoingtohellforthis.

They're fucking around. It's a joke. Reddit isn't banning Trump supporters, at least not as blatantly as this.

>wants to regulate websites like blocks of property in a city rather than lanes in a highway

WRONG

In a republic or democracy public discourse is extremely important. It is necessary for the government to even function. In an increasingly digital era social media is becoming the primary platform for political discourse. For better or worse, it is controlled by private companies. Any company marketing itself as a discussion or social media platform ought not to discriminate based on political affiliation. It should provide users with the tools to block out that which they do not like, but the board of directors should not determine what is or is not acceptable.

This would be less of a problem if all things digital did not trend towards centralization, but the fact is that for every manner of social media type (facebook, twitter, instagram), there is only one of its kind. You can only count on one platform to be dominant at one time. MySpace fell to Facebook. We'll see if Twitter falls to Gab. But in either case, there can only be one. If there's one central discussion platform (which is honestly the best solution to reach the widest audience and not fracture the public), then we can't count of the free market to introduce reasonable alternatives and provide success. It's the same dilemma as voting third party. Why use this service if nobody else will? Except the entire point of social media is to socialize, whereas a vote is just your opinion. It's even more of a disincentive not to leave a populated platform.

You are a huge faggot.

This post is from the Sup Forums admin team.

:^)

>Does that mean I can ban fags from my place of business
Yes. You HAVE to be a middle schooler..and a dumb one to not know that.

>Liberals call Trump's rhetoric Orwellian
>Meanwhile on reddit, there's actually Orwellian shit going on.

Surprise surprise.

Those are comments. They were banned for their opinions.

Stifling someone's right to free speech because of political differences. Isn't that kind of like, you know, fascism or something?

They are doing huge ban waves the last three days. I got banned from r/politics, r/news and r/worldnews all within 24 hours.

r/news and r/worldnews wouldn't even tell me why they banned me at first and what post broke the rules, eventually r/worldnews sent me a post I made two months ago saying that all travel from Muslim nations into the US should be banned. I said that's an opinon what rule does it break? They never responded. r/news wouldn't even bother with linking a post that broke the rules or telling me exactly why I was banned. Most of my posts deleted by mods were pew poll links, wikipedia links or articles critical of Islam.

The mods in the default news subs, r/news and r/worldnews are rabid SJW, Muslim apologists and Muslims. They heavily censor anything negative said about Islam in both subs. They regularly remove entire news stories that show Muslims in a bad light and just make up fake reasons later "already posted" "no local news" "editorialized headline". They remove/delete posts without reason and without explanation, they shadowban or ban completely on a whim. They can do this even if you don't break a rule, they can literally do it for any reason they like and there is no appeal. They operate in a clique and only lat new mods in who they now are ideologically allied.

They are a sickening pro-terror anti-white cesspool and I hope one day the mods of both news subs get doxxed.

what did you expect from an extreme liberal circle jerk

>that shirt
>how dare mediocre men have confidence in themselves
women are cancer

Shadow banning and autist mods.

REEEEEEEEEEEE

Fuck off!! my aspie gf posts on reddit.

It's allowed because it's their website. They're paying server fees. They're maintaining it. They're fully within their rights to run it into the ground.

Freedom of expression doesn't mean you're entitled to everyone else's printing press. What you can do is just not use such a cancerous website in the first place.

Then you should want the government to take control of Reddit away from its current admins.
Unless you like her mind being poisoned by cucks.

>being a lolberg
>being a dumb lolberg
see

It's not a matter of being a libertarian, you dipshit. You don't own these websites. It's fucking illogical to imply that anyone but the creator has any say in what can and can't go on it (within the confines of the law, anyway).

But the creator's dead and intellectual property is kiked. Read the post.

>being mad they walled you off
You have to go back.

The post makes a suggestion. Reddit are free to allow who they want and do whatever they want with their website.

The site is still being maintained by someone's private funds.
I did read the post. It's a wall of nonsense, mainly in that it implies that reddit counts as one of these "centralized" outlets like fucking FaceBook or Google.

>1 post by this id

Yes.

And we think the law should dictate how they offer their services.

A move theater can't kick you out for being a nigger, thanks to the law. Why should they be able to kick you out for being a nazi? (hint: they shouldn't)

>the government should tell a private business what they can and can't do
Get out Communist scum

Was supposed to reply to
I'm tired don't judge me senpai

...

God damn it no! I don't want more redditors coming here and taking our meme magic. There are already too many secrets seeping through to normieville. If more of those fucks come here they will ruin everything!

wow. i guess we really are the jews, now. huh, fellas?

why do redditors come to Sup Forums and whine about getting banned from their forum?

They're protected as content providers from being liable for the content on their website if they don't actively try to curate it.

Reddit has already passed the legal limit required to have their CDA privileges revoked.

We just need someone willing to try the case.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Communications_Decency_Act

Huffman already did that. He no longer has safe harbor.

One of the co-founders is dead, the others are alive and one is even the president of Reddit.

As much as I find the majority of that website cancerous, it is a private company, and they have the right to be retards in how they run their site and drive away users.

Stop advocating a nigger mentality in wanting to government to force a private entity to let you sit at its table and serve you, as you bix nood loudly while white people are trying to eat.

Except they are likely in violating of the law that grants them immunity from liability of third-party content creators.

They have passed the limit required to state that they "curate" content on their website that has led to other websites being sued and having their CDA 230 privilege revoked.

Good luck with your wedding cake, fag.

>and they have the right to be retards in how they run their site and drive away users.
A bakery has the right to be retards in how they run their store and drive away customers.
Oh wait, they don't. They're forced to serve everyone if able.

Private company, they can do what they want. My suggestion, don't use Reddit.

>Telephone lines start monitoring your calls and start cutting off your service if you mention Trump.

>If you put up a Trump sign in your rental the landlord can kick you out.

I think if you own the movie theatre, you should be able to serve whomever you want. The Civil Right Act forcing private businesses to serve people is a disgrace. I'm not saying I would throw remove someone from my business for who they are, but everyone should have the right to.

And thus, I don't want this cancerous, "I exist! So you have to cater to me and serve me, or I'll take you to court!" mentality spread any further.

>I think if
>you should be able to
The reality is you can't.
So are you going to sit there and let one side abuse it while sticking your thumbs up your ass autistically and saying "NO! I CAN'T IMPOSE ON THEIR BUSINESS!"?

What is the yellow blue ball?

The FCC and FTC like to target things that are high profile enough in order to set precedent.

Reddit needs to get punished by the FCC and FTC and it needs to be in the papers for all to see.

Why would you use reddit? Seriously why?
