Your Situation

>27
>went to public school till 6th grade, then got GED
>make $20+ per hour delivering chinese food
>live alone in a comfy little cabin in Alaska
>spend free time re-educating myself out of all the lies absorbed the past 27 years, and gaining new skills

>23
>went to public school until grade 11
>shovel snow for $15 an hour
>have a few thousand saved up
>working security now make $3,000 a month
>all my friends who said I'm stupid for not finishing school and I would never get anywhere in life are tens of thousands in debt and working minimum wage in a store
>don't buy any luxuries, don't drink or smoke so I just save all my money
>friends are broke and still buy drugs, alcohol, vacations etc,
>complain the system is against them and wages are too low

Good on you, my man.

>23
>make 13$ per hour 20 hours a week as a bank teller
>job pays for my degree
>job has medical and 401k
>Regional manager has said he will promote me to corporate office in Big city when i finish degree
>Live at home 3 mins walk from my job
>buy whatever I want and still have plenty of money
>started a buisness selling t-shirts on campus that donates the profits to Dakota access pipeline protesters
>dont donate shit
You guys should stop hating on california. Worker protections are the shit. Even my pool guy has healthcare. The guy who runs my maid service said he was going to go out of buisness when minimum wage goes up, but I am sure he will find a way.

>don't buy any luxuries, don't drink or smoke so I just save all my money
This. I don't know what you mean by luxuries tho. I wouldn't hoard money until my grave.

>>don't buy any luxuries, don't drink or smoke so I just save all my money

Marijuana/tobacco grow in the ground & alcohol is literally cheaper than water. Why cant you afford either of those things?

>29
>Studied philosophy
>Government job paying 90k
>Lift 5 times a week
>5'11
>Drink way too much
>INFP
>One long term relationship
>Porn every day
>Spend nearly all my time outside of work alone

I'm saving because I want a family one day
I can afford cigarettes if I want but I quit smoking, why start up again?
Water is free, there's no free alcohol. I drink a bottle of beer occasionally but I don't care about getting drunk I just like to try new stuff sometimes.

I think you should go to your nearest walmart.Go to their men's restroom (assuming your gender). Look promptly at the Urinal. See that round mint floating there in what looks like residue piss? Go ahead and grab that and place it directly under your tongue. Its the latest progressive trend and everyone is doing it! The real high doesn't kick in until you go look in the mirror. Go ahead take a nice long look. After you have fulfilled your homosexual desires fucking bash your god damn head into the sink repeatedly until the mint under your tongue begins to taste like a black-cock foreskin.

I don't know how it's in America. But drinking isn't necessary and smoking is expensive af.

My friend always wonder how can I afford to eat better than most people. It's because I don't throw away money on those things.

What government job can you get with philosophy degree?

>no free alcohol
this fucker obviously never visited the balkans

>My friend always wonder how can I afford to eat better than most people. It's because I don't throw away money on those things.
There's so much in life more worth one's time than ingesting mind altering substances. I can understand wanting to get a new point of view from the experience, but regular consumption is clearly just way of coping with life. There's no self mastery there.

Some people here get lazy and just order food everyday, which is expensive! My dinner each day which consists of meat potatoes and a salad costs maybe 2$ in total if you buy a pizza it's $10 but if you order it it's $20!

I live in Eagle River, are you here or in FBNKS?

pencil pushing bullshit that anyone can do. turn up, stay sober & you can make an easy stable living.

>if you order it it's $20!
Plus tip if you're a bro. Actually, it's hilarious how much money I make from driving food to people, and listening to music. Best non-job ever.

What are you going to do when they use their superior numbers to vote for the state to fund their lavish lifestyles, and you won't get anything because you didn't accrue the debt and indoctrination you were "supposed to?"

Government work is ridiculously good, the liquor store cashiers make more than I do

It's common for people here to spend their income on nothing else.
Government increases taxation of those products but people instead not using them live like trash because can't afford basic things.
I mean those are their basic provisions. :^)

Do you have plans to stop being a leech?

Bearflanks.

People tip a $1 or $2 here typically
I don't know

>22
>neet for soon 4 years
>going to live in the forest in two months
>how long?
>the wolves will know the answers

Not having a good at you specifically, but fuck government work is a big scam.

BRB provide nothing of value
BRB get 150% of median wage
BRB get 150% super entitlements

People without philosophy I assume. It's most folks here, too

Have you done delivery? I'm really surprised by how much people tip. I usually get a couple $20 tips a week. Most tips are $5.

Datamining larp thread

it is a scam. But it's one of the few areas that will survive the decimation of lower and middle class jobs through automation, globalization etc. the elite still need bodies to maintain the system. i'm trying to figure out other ways to make money & contribute to society in a meaningful way, but for now i have accepted my lot.

No, I think tipping culture is bigger in America than here we still have it but it's usually just throw a loonie or a toonie and whatever change you got. Sometimes at the store if my change is a nickel or something I'll just tell them to keep it

>18
>graduated hs
>working at Home Depot making 10.50/hr
>spend money on gas and shit food that's really itparents pay for mostly everything
>save everything else
>currently community college fag
>see how far I can get education wise
>father works in railroad, once I'm done with college he can get my foot in the door with em
> can start off making 70k/yr

If everything ends up working out I can do that until I die

>Marijuana/tobacco grow in the ground
Not everyone has a fucking tobacco farm.
>alcohol is literally cheaper than water
Bottled water, maybe.
