In the past, we had scientists, journalists, politicians, authority figures and institutions that we could trust, regardless of our political ideology. With some exceptions, these people prided themselves on remaining informative and professional, often with a traditionalist bent. Even when the liberals came screaming and started to infiltrate society, the traditionalists remained in control and made sure to keep the liberal voices in check. They essentially served as a cultural and social anchor for the average Joe, and gave us a sense of permanence, identity and belonging.
This is gone from the post-modern society. There are no truths anymore. The pundits and the institutions no longer strive for any kind of objectivity, but interpret everything through their highly subjective left-wing lens. There is no one left to trust, and nothing left to believe in. The very core identity of western society is dead.
Casual reminder these cucks actually tried to sell the notion that nuclear winter was a real thing, even though all the science even said otherwise. Even Freeman Dyson, a huge proponent of it said it was terrible science, but good politics.
