IS THE PUSH FOR A $15/HOUR MINIMUM WAGE A WAR BY MEGACORP AGAINST SMALL BUSINESSES?

Megacorp can afford to innovate their way out of bearing the full cost.

>pic related

But small and medium businesses can afford this.

>the philly cheese steak shop down the road would be fucked
>the local pub would be fucked
>many more examples

Am I the only one that sees this?

>businesses can afford this.
Should be 'can't afford this.'

>businesses adapt
>this is a bad thing
Oh boy now a few people are technicians who, probably, get paid better regardless.

You realize there are mcdonalds with these already?

Youre absolutely out of your MIND if you think "mom and pop" shops or "small" business coudlnt afford this.

Automated payment services will literally be free computer apps in months, if they arent already, and will necessitate cheap laptops and a credit card reader to implement.

it will be the cheapest easiest business adaptation ever made. It will require a single, trained attendant to run them all, reboot them when necessary or assist struggling customers.

I hope you understand how application architecture like this is virtually free.

>now a few people are technicians who, probably, get paid better regardless.

Sure I know that automation creates jobs, but that is not the point here.

Wagecuck protestors are funded by bought-and-paid-for groups that have an agenda: shut down mom-and-pop shops so they can control the market.

>shut down mom-and-pop shops so they can control the market
>most things talk about "muh mcdonalds"
kek

That's my point. Mc Donalds is not the only megacorp that would benefit from it.

...

Thanks for the contribution. Tell me more about your ute.

effects kids trying to get work experience through unskilled labour not worth a living wage while they are still young enough to live with their parents. Forcing the next generation to grow up dependant on handouts and, along with liberal schooling, more liable to think socialist.

Yes

No you fucking idiot. It's the result of capitalism. You should get acquainted with Occam's razor before inducing your schizophrenia any further

Making your order on a computer is fucking brilliant.
Imagine all those fat fucks holding back because they're to timid to order 15 quarter pounders and one diet coke to go.

This machine will make McD bigger than Apple.

>completely ignores the cost of hardware
user the fact that you actually don't know what you're talking about is showing. Notice how you have to rent software suites now (adobe, office, etc?). dont be intentionally dense.

doesn't make that much of a difference. If you're a small vendor you pretty much have to work yourself in your store or you're getting raped regardless

Thanks man you see it

No shit. Took You long enought.

But who will buy the products if nobody is being paid living wages? Man I can't wait til capitalism explodes in on itself. Shits not sustainable.

My Wendy's had this shit years ago. So counter staff will go and get all the factory jobs.

Nbd

yeah but if the richfags are smart they will make themselves the rulers before abandoning the system.

They already are m8. When it blows up, they go down with it

What we can't afford is the rising insurance costs year after year.

I run a business where 90% of the employees make more than $15 an hour. I have always paid 100% of the personal health, dental and vision cost for my employees.

We were paying $300 average per employee for a "platinum" level hmo with $5 meds, $10 copay and zero deductible.

Now its $450 average per employee for a "gold" level hmo with $20 meds, $25 copay and $500 deductible.

Minimum wage forced on businesses is horrible. Thankfully Texas blocked the federal minimum salary that would have more than doubled the minimum salary over night.

Hopefully "repeal replace" will make insurance much more affordable soon.

sounds like you have no idea how expensive it is to license POS systems. And have it customized.

What industry

Its literally a fucking computer with a piece of software. I can make the same setup for well under a weeks $15/hr wage without monthly costs aside from card processing. Most of the software could be done in something as simple as command line or qbasic.
