Pol what should I do with my $3000 Tax refund?
It's just going into savings unless one of you gives me a better idea.

All in on one hand of blackjack.

Digits confirm.

>Pay debnts >4% interest
>IRA for 2017

In that order, user. Think about your future.

i'm not a risk taker lol

get lasik

Hang on, let me put on my /biz/ hat. $1000 in penny stocks, $1000 in cryptocurrency, and $1000 in kneepads.

I have no debt and I contribute the maximum of 5500 to defer my tax burden till I need the money or can draw it out a year when I earn less and be taxed at a lower rate on that money than the year I earned it.

LOL, its why I asked pol and not Biz, those guys.....

gunz and ammo for race war

thats a lot of fun unless the dealer beats you on that hand, then its not so fun

$800 in AR15
$600 in handgun
$450 in shotgun

rest on whatever idc

Blow and hookers

SOLD, my vision is shit. but I have astigmatism and ive heard lasik isn't always perfect?

Buy a weapon for the eventual race war faggot. If you don't do your part you will be executed along with the rest of the jews, niggers, and liberals.

Buy a flesh light and body pillow

gamble it.

Medium risk (investment) bonds.

My parents have made in excess of 20k over the past ~6 years. Not great returns, but it's 0 effort aka free money.

Their initial investment wasn't that high either, but can't quite remember the number.

You into cars user ? Something sporty

my car is getting kinda old its a 2006, but I live up north so a sports car isn't good year round.. maybe and SUV

Pay off debts if you have any.

stop giving the government free loans

buy hipster bullshit to look cool with your dumb friends

>Letting your money rot in the bank
Put it in an index fund.

I agree, but ill be damned if I have to pay in at the end of the year unexpectedly.

bitcoin you IDIOT

I am going to, I'm waiting for the market to crash again before I put it into an indexed fund. ill roll my IRA (its just an FDIC savings account) into an indexed mutual fund if the market ever crashes again, then when it recovers roll it back into a FDIC insured savings IRA.

A sporty car from ten years ago, sure.
Obama killed the used car market with Cash For Clunkers.

buy a shitty truck, paint it red white and blue, put a giant flagpole in the bed, weld a megaphone to the top of the roof and drive it around D.C. shouting quotes from the constition and redpilling protesting lefties.

A smart person would tell you not to buy anything stupid. You are better off saving your shekels. Or that new paintjob. Maybe another car

But gOyim rEmember that new gamestation6000 you wanted.

ar15 with an optic, 2k ammo for raifu.

You could always donate that 3k to the ASPCA

This, btc-e.nz, gogogo

Donate all to the NAACP

Donate to Hillary 2020

get into ham radio

Don't do LASIK. The flap never fully reataches. Get PRK. It is more stable and uses the same laser technology. I got it done and it was $2500 after my insurance paid a percentage.

that is a fat cat

Get LASIK. Did it for myself at 19, after eyes hadn't changed in 3yrs. I had -11.25 in left eye and -12.00 in right. Also astigmatism. Now I have perfect in the right, and better than perfect in the left. 11yrs later it's not degraded any. I expect reading glasses or touch-up LASIK around 35 or so, but that's down the road, and I have no complaints. Best money I've ever spent.

Welcome to every year I've had a job since 16. Biggest return while working full time has been about $125. Most of the time it's

>Paying less than 15% income tax
>Complaining

There's a reason air Force pilots are only allowed to have PRK and not LASIK.

LOL my dad has one in his basement still. You pinch these levers together to make Morse code I think...

you should redo your w-2 if you're getting that much back in taxes

just put you have a dependent on there or something so they don't take as much money out as taxes.

getting significant money back from tax return is fucking stupid. Better to use it on bills/debt or save it as it comes in

gamble it

During the summer months I can get as much as 65-75 hours in one week and they tax the FUCK out of my checks, sometimes take 400 just for federal in one week...

>50% for rent
>25% for food/bills
>10% for fun

fuuuugggg. Just remembered I can't get a refund since I worked off the books last summer

Shit nigger here's what I'd buy if I didn't want to put it into savings:

>AR10 7.62 platform
>'bout tree fiddy rounds
>6 mags
>sweet ass exhaust for my car from Spencer's Gifts for like 20 bucks

I don't know if they are both available here, I would travel if one was better.

>ham radio
>morse corse
>current year+1

dude ham radio is mostly used to transmit data or calling people now adays.

morse code isn't a requirement to get licensed anymore and besides: Why would you need to? If you plug your radio into your computer, it'll send straight data and not just morse code.

can I call you in Denmark from my Ham radio?

what are you doing to get so much back in taxes then? traveling expenses or something?
I dunno how you can make so much money but then also have a taxes return, you should look into it.

if you have 0 dependant on w-2, put you have 1.
if you have 1, put you have 2.
that's something really obvious, but you've probably already done it.
You already have ira which is good too.

If you can, build up another bank account with 6months+ of living expenses outside your IRA for anything weird happening. Lost job, death in family, car catches fire, etc.

Most places that do LASIK also do PRK. Both procedures use the same machine. LASIK invoves cutting a flap in the cornea , lasering it and then closing the flap. This greatly reduces the structural integrity of your eye. In PRK they dissolve the clear portion of your eye, laser it, and then let it grow back. Once it's done even an eye specialist will have a hard time knowing that surgery had ever been performed on your eyes. Google the differences. Recovery is the only downfall of PRK. But it's worth it.

I think when I work 75 hours in a week, the way payroll taxes work it assumes I make that much 52 weeks a year, I clearly don't so if I earn 2k in one week it assumes I earn over 100k a year when I make just over half that.

plus I have a kid, so there is the child tax credit ov 1000

PRK = Painful Recovery (want to) Kill-yourself

>Pol what should I do with my $3000 Tax refund?
Buy $3000 of a high dividend yield stock and reinvest the dividends.

Yeah and they also get fed "go pills" which are amps so do they really make the best decisions? No it's about getting your money's worth out of the human being. Invest 2mil in training a pilot, keep him in the air as long as possible so you don't have to train twice as many.

It was only painful for the first week. After that, you see 4 of everything for about 3 months, then it gradually gets perfect over the course of a year.

PRK has better long term stability. Also, amphetamines and altitude raise your intraocular pressure which can cause the LASIK flap to bulge, causing blurry vision.

i wouldn't buy stocks atm, the market is at an all time high.

He'd be better off hitting the slots instead.

More chances for the big cash.

Close your eyes and point.

I would buy some DIY things. Never know when will something in your house break.

>what should I do with my $3000
gibs me pls
I could live off of that for hlaf a year

Gold and guns

Invest 1K$ into Nintendo's stock on March 2nd. The Switch is guarenteed to sell 2 million units at launch. After that quickly sell your shares for a profit , the sales will slow to a halt and immidiately drop back down.

body armour
nightvision
ar-15

>Too much fun

>refund

LOL haven't seen one of those since I was 18yo. Feelsgoodman, not being poor is awesome. In all honesty I usually owe the government money, but hey...gotta spend money to make money.

There is no better place for it than savings. Get a nice safe, put it in a concrete hole in your basement, throw your money in there, and cover the hole. Keep that money available only to you.

Or, if you're in debt, take care of that. Debt is one of the worst things for a man to be in.

Semi-Auto rifle. Mags. Ammo. Training.

u don't trust banks?

Ask, /biz/. They are experts.

/thread

for you

No, I don't.

This, cash for clunkers was one of the dumbest things our government has ever done. Has fucked the used market for years. Got a new car a couple of weeks ago, was looking at lightly used but used and new pricing were only 3000 apart after incentives and such. With the better apr on new being lower it made more sense to me to buy new instead.
