You discover North Korea has been secretly working on nuclear weapons...

You discover North Korea has been secretly working on nuclear weapons, not to destroy military bases but instead to wipe out the north american power and communications grid with a few well placed EMPs and bring you down to their level.

Could you survive without being able to google "build a fire" or "make water potable"? Could you live on magazine porn?

>Could you survive without being able to google "build a fire" or "make water potable"?

absolutely, I go camping all the time so i....

>Could you live on magazine porn?

WE MUST STRIKE FIRST BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE.

Wow, that pic is literally socialism vs capitalism

north korea can get any nuke it wants from China, they're working on a biological weapon that only harms white people

Yes. I have an iPad inside of a metal strongbox with a portable charger and I recharge it every week. My yaoi reserves will survive the apocalypse

looks like canada and half the us is ready to live off the grid.

good work scout. there is a merit badge for you somewhere.

You know I'm an Eagle Scout and I've never seen those before?

My imagination is the ultimate search engine for porn, so I'm sure I'd manage if for whatever reason I was caught up in it.

yes

i will eat people

Too bad the internet wont work.

top kek

What goes on here that it's so bright?

>not saving your images

canadians confirmed scared of the dark

Not only could I survive, but I could probably thrive.

kek

Really though, that's a lot of lights for what I assumed was buttfuck nowhere.

I wonder what goes on here. this is empty cattle ranch country. google maps offers no answers.

>Texas
>empty cattle ranch country

Nigga

Forget what the interstate but I believe it is Laredo to San Antonio and Austin

>Think all of Texas is exactly the same

there is nothing there for that much light. I think there are some uranium areas though.

I looked at the satellite map. Hundreds of short roads branching from the main grid system, and nearly every one leads to a small clear patch? To me that says oil country - those are probably well heads. Those sites tend to be well lit too, which explains why it would show up on a night map.

I think San Antonio and Austin are the two bright spots just north of that, with the interstate as the bright line between them.

IDFK though I'm just a leaf

That's my point.
Texas is the most geographically diverse state.
The nigga circled San Antonio and Austin and the highway leading to Houston and asked what that was in "empty cattle ranch country:

yes, I have watched primitive technology

ok its only shale. whew.

Ah yep, it's actually south of what I thought. That's a shitton of oil there.

it's not enough to know basic survival tactics. make sure you also arm yourselves to defend those resources.

Nice fish-eye lens.

Do you have a real picture?

Fuck off, stop changing the subject

Kek. Cityfags BTFO.

I own a small rural ISP. Not much, but it's mine. I trade with some of my customers. One gives beef, another pork. One trades moonshine, another the pot he grows in the summer, another does auto and machinery repair. I have 19 towers, all on private property, all on solar power, all with a wi-fi hotspot. The people who live here can use these to communicate with each other from valley to mountaintop.
The dozen or so customers I’ve helped to set up off grid solar systems can be continuously online. I have 3 redundant 8TB NAS drives at towers filled with movies, documentaries, TV shows, books, wikipedia and other site archives, and porn. I’ve got a workshop with back-up equipment for the whole network.

We should be good for the next 8-10 years until the batteries die.

Didn't realize Calgary was that big

winter survival would come into play here. then migrate to someplace warmer.

you would be a "defender".

Wouldn't you just keep getting domain errors? You could use European news but that would be it assuming the stuff still worked after an emp

What are those places like? Is life in other NK "cities" as much of a joke as it is in Pyongyang?

>Wouldn't you just keep getting domain errors?

In the case of a crisis, it would serve as an intranet not as internet service.

The entire network has private addresses and uses a router for NAT at the uplink gateway.

Heaven.

Love cold, snowy, forested areas. Add in a log cabin and I could die alone and happy

Pretty sure those are oil fields

dprk wastes their one shot at taking our porn and becomes a irradiated wasteland within the hour. If only the exalted chub were that retarded..

i wonder if the view from the north side of the dmz to the south is similiar to this.

Oh ok. My expertise on that stuff is rather limited. So this would be between yourself and a small community rather than you trying to connect to the mainstream internet

an EMP isn't going to disable a lighter or matches

A flat-earth lunatic...

Lighter or matches... And when you spend them?
No truck to bring you new merchandise, no factory to make lighters or matches...

The System without computers or even without electricity would completelly collapse...

>So this would be between yourself and a small community rather than you trying to connect to the mainstream internet

Yep. That's why I put in the wifi hotspots and the NAS drives.
In a crisis, the internet connection could go down as well as landline and cel phone service but we can still communicate from one end of the network to the other (roughly 50 miles).
P2P voice, email on my server, and IRC type chat will still work internally.

good thing i have a shit ton of lighters and a box of matches

as long as i keep the fire going i shouldnt have to relight it very often

Humans survive; its the hallmark of our species. People will find a way as they always do

The risk from EMP is overblown.

which humans survive? the inner city thugs who will see your smoke off in the distance and track you down for your "gibme's"?
