Juxtaposition of brilliant businessman and really fucking annoying tv personality.

I was also unaware that Ivanka existed.

literally didn't know about him until the obama birth-certificate thing

Before:
>that annoying dude who I only know about through a reality TV show
Now:
>that guy that won the presidency and has some pretty good ideas for the country but is also fucking retarded

I didn't think much of him. I knew him from the apprentice and that he owned a lot of casinos but that's about it. Didn't think bad or good either way.

>brilliant businessman

lel

You had never heard of Trump from the 80s and 90s?

An idiot. I was wrong.

I thought he was really annoying

I watched the apprentice when I was younger and enjoyed it, even though I thought of him more as a guy playing a businessman on tv than a good businessman,

a troll with a massive ego and hilarious mannerisms

still feel that way and find the butthurt he has caused very funny

Just a TV personality.

I read one of his books in the 1990s.

Even back then he was a blowhard saying how he hates bullies and this chick was being a total cunt.

Then I saw a Time Magazine article saying he is a blowhard and he lost his money (first bankruptcy) but people shouldn't be sorry for him because even though he's not a billionaire anymore he's still a millionaire after the bankruptcy.

that hair can't be real

>meme hair man
>you're fired
>birth certificate
thats it

Rich bombastic businessman.

I hated Trump I thought everything people are saying. Hes been bankrupt, hes a sociapath, ect. When he announced he was running for president even will all my hate for him I liked it. I loved how his personality in a political forum would fuck shit up. I hate politicians more than trump. Trump is my bbff now.

>Muh multiple bankruptcies.
I never bothered to look him up, that's how the media talked about him. I also never watched all that reality tv bullshit. The clips I unfortunately saw were enough.
>You're fired!

As a New Yorker growing up in the 80s everyone loved him. Everyone. Blacks idolized his ruthlessness and nenacity, whites admired his lifestyle, as did spics and chinks alike. Factually speaking he was so well liked they incorporated him into Hollywood and Television as often as possible. He, and his family represented the epitome of the American dream.

He was and always will be Mr. New York to me. A man of the people, a man of brilliance.

A rich douche bag

I didn't care about him one way or another. I remember way before the run for president a sociology class I took where the black teacher told the class he doesn't buy Trump ties because "that man... he doesn't have class" and everyone clapped for some reason.

Thought he was just some guy that was semi-famous because he was obscenely rich, a la Paris Hilton minus the slut image.

billionaire playboy

I used to think he was a douchebag

Now I think he is a douchebag

Some meme billionaire with a shitty tv show.

I never liked him desu. He rubbed me the wrong way. And watching his show I could tell he was a hack.

Some fucking rich old white dude with a tv show who hated rosie o'donnel for some reason.

He went bankrupt several times but he just keeps becoming a billionaire again just as many times.

He's like Rocky. It's not how many times you fall it's how many times you get back up.

I knew he was on the Apprentice, but didn't know shit about the guy himself until the campaign.

He was alright, thought he was a joke in the primaries but then he turned out pretty good.

Literally not interested, really disliked him in the beginning because he was shilling hard for evangelicals.

The physical embodiment of America.

>Das rieeeeght!
>Mmmmmm-hmmm!

Machiavellian billionaire real estate mogul turned television star turned twitter shitposter turned presidential candidate turned president

98% success rate = very talented.

Some of his ventures have failed. Most notably Donald J. Trump state park in Jefferson Valley/Yorktown Heights New York. That was a MASSIVE failure, but he managed to edge in a profit by donating the site of the failed condominium complex into a state park and write off the donation on taxes.

I grew up in that town. Nice park, retards have vandalized the exit sign on the Taconic State Parkway because of blind politics. Odd.

As just some benign really rich old guy with a younger wife. I don't like casinos and I knew Trump had them, so I wasn't really a fan. It was before he was chosen by God to save western civilization.

Rich guy with funny hair.

This surely isn't a CTR thread

Literally just a walking meme, representative of fuck you money

Untrue. He's declared bankruptcy on several businesses. Not personal bankruptcy. Lrn2FinanceLaw.

See: for example.

this

A modern day Midas. Some dude that liked gold on everything he owned.

(checked)
I read The Art of the Deal when I was 17 or so. I loved living vicariously through his stories. His life has been so great and now he's even fucking President. Truly a legend.

I like how the dream cars of yesteryear can be bought for $1000 at a scrapyard nowadays.

I remembered him from Home Alone 2 and Howard Stern back in the day. I basically saw him as a successful businessman with a personality, unafraid to poke fun at himself.

It's not hard to make money when you already have money.

Most of Trumps money was made in real estate which is piss easy if you already have the investment money. Trump has no lasting legacy in any business because he just buys things and flips them for more profit later.

I thought he was a joke until I took a closer look and realized that he wanted people to think he was a joke until it was too late to stop him. 7D chess. Under budget, ahead of schedule.

What's worse, getting turned down a few times by girls you want to fuck or playing it safe and keeping a clean record?
No failures = No trying = LOW ENERGY

>inb4 you dig out some outlier among outliers who never failed, not even once

Most cars made during the 80 were fucking horrendous.

People don't even know who Milton Friedman is anymore. Seriously, NO ONE here knows who Milton Friedman is. it's disgusting.
Do you know who Milton Friedman is?

I'm not aware of his investment portfolio, are you? Money in banks and trusts accrues wealth by interest alone...just sitting there. Sounds like you don't know anything about finance.

Big mouth tv personality

Eccentric, rich, annoying angry guy!
I thought he was an asshole when I was younger--then realized he's sharp and humble, and that being called an asshole is a compliment.

>Milton Friedman

Never heard of him

My post was in support of Trump's business acumen, idiot.

He's a rich guy and has a tower or whatever

>It's not hard to make money when you already have money.

Tell that to lottery winners who blew all their money after making money. Or washed up celebrities who can't get any more money after they're washed up.

I read that as him agreeing with you.

A communist Nobel lauriet that wanted to unjustly tax the wealthy. A Jew.

thought he was a joke until i raced out of a red state to go to a blue state so I could see that i was just being paranoid and the liberal nation hadn't actually become that brainwashed.
Upon have that conversation with a liberal, I fucking panicked, realizing that either they had all become totally brainwashed, or they just flat out hated the United States of America and wanted it to fall. Being as im one of the idiots that live in the United States, I then did everything I could to campaign to try to swing Pennsylvania red and then I knew the mercy of God

pretty cool guy

...

I just saw him as some rich guy who had a TV show. I had no opinion one way or the other.

Now I know the truth, that he is literally Hitler reincarnated. We have to assassinate Drumpf.

Seems like flipping shit is the way to becoming rich. Profiting off peoples stupidity.

That was not in the form of a question user. Sorry.

Almost all lottery winner end up in worse financial circumstances than they were prior to their win within 5 years, regardless of the amount won. The lottery is a tax on the uneducated poor though, only idiots play it.

Wasn't aware of his existence

He was the winner of the greatest celebrity feud of all time vs Rosie O'Donnell

Nice digits. Yeah, I always thought of his somewhat lavish taste in decor, like Louis the 14th raided King Solomon's vaults in order to gold leaf all of that furniture. That and the fact that he made a shit load of money in whatever he attempted.

archetypical amerishart.

...

a loudmouth narcissist

at least, that was his character on tv

Rich guy who said something about Obama's birth cert and fired people.

Also he was in WWE for a bit. Hall of Famer, mind you.

>Donald Trump value = 3.5 billion dollars
>Donald Trump real estate value = 3.1 billion dollars

Most people who play the lottery are retards in the first place so I don't even know what to say. As for the celebrities that's what washed up means, no more value in your chosen field. Trump inherited 40 million dollars from his father in 1974 so good on him for increasing his wealth but honestly it's not like he was a self made entrepreneur. Trump had it easy compared to people like Zuckerberg or Gabe Newell who also managed to become billionaires.

I grew up being taught to hate rich people so I didn't like him at first. As I grew up though and heard more about him and saw him more in movies I warmed up to him. I love how mad he makes my family desu.

KEK needs answers!

I watched the apprentice for the first 3 seasons, and really liked it. Before that I only knew him as a very rich and successful real estate mogul from NY. Sort of a tabloid celebrity.

He popped up again for me when he was a major investor in Affliction MMA.

It's funny because when I went to NY in 2009, my first stop was Trump Tower. I had no idea how much that would mean to me in 2016!

Praise KEK

PRAISE TRUMP

Used to watch the Apprentice. Seemed alright in it to me, our business teacher suggested we watch it way back when, she said the stakes were a bit higher than in the English version.
A good show, Trump continues to entertain me, wish him the best.

I'm 30, so when I grew up, Trump was just a person you referred to when you were talking about making a big purchase or something like that:

>I'm gonna put 14k down on this car
>Slow down there, Donald Trump

You never saw him say stuff or do anything until WWE and Apprentice

a clown
so nothing has really changed

I knew him for his shitty show and his shitty hair.

Big Trump supporter here, not gonna lie, I thought he was an idiot, and when I heard he was running for President, I thought it was a joke.

After listening to what he had to say on TV, I looked into his policies and I've liked the guy ever since.

Being a bong i only remember DJT from the 1980's... always been a sort of controversial character over here. I guess his profile was raised by films like Wall St in 1987 (I have no idea if DJT is/was a stocks and shares broker)

Oh and he used to have an exotic Czech bird called Ivana Humperpussy

I grew up wanting to be him but that never quite transpired

So Much Barron in that picture

I forgot about this madman.

Zuckerberg stole an idea from intelligent people and kiked them out of ownership, he even admitted to doing that by paying them off then demanding they sign gag orders. Gabe was at least inventive.

Also, having $4,000,000,000 liquidity is pretty based. I didn't know Trump had that much COH.

REALITY TV FUCKIN STAR UP THERE WITH THE KARDASHIANS SAME FUCKIN THING NOW WONDER THEYLL WIN THE PRESIDENCY IN 2020

Ronald Reagan was a spaghetti western actor before becoming president.

The ghost of the Friedman rests in free market Valhalla. At the end of central banking he will ride out with Mises, Rothbard and a whole host of Libertarian bannermen to do battle with the Fed. His foes may be powerful but his fiscal policies are stronger.

I just was thinking today how I always saw him as a charming businessman when he was younger and brutal in his reality show and that's about it. You're fucking mung.

Huge ego. My opinion from a year ago is anyone could have rode the ticket he did to the white house and won. He better fulfill all his campaign promises and then some.

I taught he was an idiot. The turning point for me was the video where Ali G tries to prank him. Sasha Baron Cohen is a clever dude and yet he got outsmarted by Trump.

I still think he is a bit weird though.

No clue why people like Reagan. Such a shit president. Is it because his presidency coincided with the fall of the Soviet Union?

I think he went on Oprah during the early 90s and actually talked about running for president.

I used to work for him and got a chance to meet Ivanka. When I told people so, shitskins always hated him way before politics. I always thought he was a fucking boss.

A Fleetwood like that would probably run you at least 8000.

I was unaware of tiffany

Which policies of his did you like that changed your mind?

i could sense the impending galactic domination.
