The "The free market is the best economic policy...

The "The free market is the best economic policy, it just hasn't ever been done right because of government regulation" argument is the EXACT SAME as the "Communism is the best economic policy, it just hasn't ever worked because true Communism has never been tried" argument

prove me wrong.
I'll wait.

You're right. National Socialism ftw.

Communist=envy of rich ppl=anger over own inferiority.
By the Trans. Prop. Of Equality communism= inferior.

Doubles notwithstanding.

That's some pretty retarded reasoning, libtard.

This is a protectionist board.

Why would I prove you wrong. You're correct. The free market is for people to live in. The government exists to protect the liberty of the people and the economy of the nation.

you haven't proven me wrong dipshit (because you can't)

You can't have a free market with government regulation. That's the definition. The free part should have given you a hint.

How often do you hear that argument? I mean the economy is in the shitter partially because of too much regulation but how often do you hear someone say it's never been done right? It'll never be perfect but it still works, unlike communism, which does not work at all.

Read the OP again you illiterate retard

>prove me wrong.
Name one place where the free market truly exists/existed.

Then how do you explain the thousands of communes around the world which have been functioning since the 60's

The difference being that the free market actually works in practice.

name one place where the communism truly exists/existed.

see?

>the communism
tee hee oops

Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Germany (East), Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Rep. of Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Slovenia, Angola, Benin, Dem Rep. of Congo, Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, and Mozambique.

False equivalency. Free-Market has been tried, it existed at the beginning of the United States' existence and drove their economic success.

Communism also has been tried. It killed millions in Russia, China, and all over the world.

Your turn.

all you did was list a bunch of USSR states as a bunch of separate countries to try and make your post seem more impressive, along with a few others

Anytime now.

Who makes that argument? "Government regulation screws up free markets" is not the same point as "Free markets have never been tried".

The free market is best because it led directly to the quick industrialization and enormous wealth in the countries that adopted it most fully, as opposed to the starvation and poverty experienced by the countries that embrace communism most fully.

Even if I grouped them all together it would still be 25 fucking countries.

Oh yeah still waiting for those free market places.

Was the USSR not a failed attempt at communism?

Literally not communism. To classify as communism there would need to be a total lack of centralised government
