>Trump declares the promises of his campaign
>Trump is elected

Because it's an easy distraction from the fact that the Rosthchilderen own the entire globe and both candidates in any election anyway, I expect

People thought he was just memeing

>People thought he was just memeing
Partially.
The other issue is his promises are largely either illegal, or can't be done without congressional support.
Do any Trumptards really think he can build the wall with an executive order?
Your man-crush thinks YOU believe that. Why else would he have issued an EO tho start "building"?
The only guy that thinks less of Trump voters than the liberal majority is Trump himself.

>Protests literally every day of his presidency
>Only getting worse

Oh lord what a fucking shitshow

Drumpfkins defend your shit president. If he is so good why does the country hate him?

These are the same retards who thought he was running for publicity and was trying to lose the race.

wtf. I am now cruz missile

Lol love that illegal meme.

Frame the narrative, attaboy!

Half the country loves him.
It's just that the liberal half is far more vocal than the conservative half and the media pays far more attention to them.

Hitler also fulfilled his campaign promises

Well this is my point. He has a 48% approval rating, he isn't going anywhere yet.

Why bother protesting? It will achieve nothing. He was democratically elected for his policies, which he is now instating. It will achieve nothing.

>thought he was running for publicity and was trying to lose the race.
To be fair, almost everything he does if for publicity.
AND he's failed at everything he's ever done, except real-estate development, including two failed marriages and he lost billions running a group of casinos.
I don't think anybody else has managed that.

Because they are mental midgets and it's an engineered distraction pushed by their global elite overlords.

Great fucking question doe

.50 shekels and whatnot.
>Shareblue waffles

>Half the country loves him.
Less than 25% of American adults voted for him.

its shilling, noone is upset

W.. W... Well then...
I guess I am n.. N.. Now... A... Schumer Tumor?

>He was democratically elected

And less than half of the country voted so that 25% represents about half.

...

Nah, dude, be a Reb for Jeb!

He was. You cannot refute this. The popular vote does not decide the president, the electoral college does.

Why cant you understand this?

They're used to Obama the golfer.

...

>And less than half of the country voted
Nope.
Do you guys just each make up your own bullshit, or do you agree on a common batch of fiction?
58.1% of eligible voters.

Besides, everybody who stayed home was told "if you don't vote, Hillary will win".

I personally thought we weren't taking him literally just like we told everyone they shouldn't but goddamn im glad rthat we should have always been taking him literally all along.

>He was. You cannot refute this.
Every Trump supporter in the country has been telling us "we're not really a democracy, we're a constitutional republic!!!!"
(Like there are a whole bunch of countries with a system like the EC).

Because he's the first president to do that since Andrew Jackson

That reply did not refute the fact that he was democratically elected.

heres an alternative fact, half the country loves trump and we will slaughter the other half on his order.

'You have to understand. Most people are not ready to be unplugged. And many of them are so inured and so hopelessly dependent on the system that they will fight to protect it.'

Trump is pulling the plug.

>inb4 jew tranny movie
Nice meme, but the words Morpheus said still ring true.

Kind of expected him to moderate his stances a little bit while negotiating with Congress and not rely almost exclusively on Executive Orders.

He's doing too much on immigration and now it's borderline 'muh white people.

Don't mis-use Lemmy like that.

He will not divide us guys.

im a conservative who voted for trump, I live my fucking life rather than obsessing over politics

I did my research last year, cast my vote and got the fuck on with my life.

>He's doing too much on immigration

>pinko commie faggots blaming others for their violent tantrums

Literal children. You'll be put in timeout if you keep this up.

There's a certain group of people - and they're not necessarily liberals, though they mostly are - that just absolutely refuse to believe Trump is on the up and up. They will explore every alternative, no matter how far fetched or divorced from reality and available evidence, to avoid concluding that Trump actually does want to make America great again. They refuse to believe a 70 old white billionaire can remember a time when America was a saner, more reasonable place, who dearly misses it and wants to bring it back. The simplest, most probable explanation for Trump is, in their view, the most preposterous. When more evidence comes rolling in that they're just wrong, they still won't bend, and delve deeper into idiotic alternative theories to explain Trump.

The truth is he just wants to bring the America he grew up in back because he loved it. It's not any more complicated than that. But they'll never accept it.

And if Hillary had won you know you'd be here bitching on Sup Forums or running out yelling "she will not divide us" or some bullshit, don't even try to pretend otherwise you fucking hypocrite

>The truth is he just wants to bring the America he grew up in back because he loved it. It's not any more complicated than that. But they'll never accept it.

My issue now is whether he is actually qualified to do this. Wanting something isn't enough to make it happen.

Not even really intending this as a dig against him, but it's a difficult job he's set up for himself.

>implying

>>Trump fulfils those promises

His campaign promises were so fucking insane nobody believed he would.

Today Trump backed out on his promise to negotiate drug prices though

No, he wouldn't, and I wouldn't, just like I didn't and he didn't when King Nigger won twice. Because we aren't retarded losers that resort to nonsensical impotent behavior when things don't go our way.

So much autism.

Oh shit you're right!

Sup Forums was literally filled with whining and pessimism for the entirety of Obama's reign, as well as when you all thought Hillary was going to win just like everyone else did.

the difference is we would have a legitimate claim to whining because hilly does not love america and has no principles to speak of.

He promised to stop arming the Syrian war zone, and now he's doing just that. He promised to drain the swamp, and now he's put together a mostly establishment government. I don't know about his promises.

Both chambers are red. He will have no problems with the legality of stuff.

You're literally rioting and burning down your own cities so continue, none of you dare to fight us on our turf.

Shareblue
Media Matters and its affiliate Shareblue plan to become the reference point for liberal news media, especially online
In particular, they plan to provide their own "research" to friendly media outlets to push liberal narratives
At the same time, they will try to censor non-aligned outlets, including by having Facebook, Google and Twitter penalize them
They will also heavily push the "fake news" and "Russian propaganda" angles to discredit non-aligned outlets
They intend to deploy social media analytics to catch developing stories as they emerge and direct their shill armies, called "truth squads" (not even kidding), to shape the narrative; this will be done via their proprietary tools and communications network, so it will appear to the outside world as if a genuine grassroots movement is happening their 2017 budget is $13.4 million, with 81 staff

>leave millions uninsured
>many of those millions are healthy 20-somethings who can ill afford $300 per month for shitty HMO coverage
>this is somehow a problem
FUCK YOU CTR

And the libs believe the same of Trump. What makes their claim any less legitimate than yours?

>California should decide the presidency

Healthy until you get into some accident and suddenly wind up with half a million dollars in medical bills because the prices are set up so they can negotiate them down with insurance companies and if you don't have that negotiating power as a private individual you just get FUCKING FUCKED!

Happened to friend of mine who crashed his motorcycle a while back. He was "healthy" until then too.

Note that I'm not really arguing in favor of Obamacare here either, I think Trump is right to end it and that the claims like are very exaggerated anyway, but the idea that "you're healthy so you don't need health insurance" is asinine in this day and age. The system is set up so you get royally fucked without it if you are ever unlucky enough to need to get medical care. It's just not an acceptable risk for most people.

People legitimately thought THE ABSOLUTE MADMAN wouldn't do it, despite him ACTUALLY DOING IT throughout is his entire campaign.

In class some Tumblrina literally said that Hillary would have removed the establishment the """""""right""""""" way if she was elected. I got excused from the class for the last hour after I started laughing and told her that she didn't know her ass from a hole in the ground if she really believed that.

Now I'm worried that they are going to force me to withdraw from the class.

It shows democrats aren't really into fulfilling promises.

you dropped something.

And who do the Roths bow to!?

Because literally only low-IQ rural and suburban retards who didn't go to college voted for him.

The problem was the way in which he's been "fulfilling those promises"

Rapidfire executive orders that fucking NO ONE outside his cabinet consulted on or even read before the signing is just asking for chaos.

He basically got in and started pushing everything out the door immediately before anyone could even settle into their roles.
Compounding this is the fact that the things he's doing include some VERY sensitive foreign affairs matters that he has completely fucked over.

Yeah, America First and all that, but that doesn't mean you can just fucking ignore the rest of the planet.
The Wall and the Immigration Reform shit NEEDED to go through proper channels and be discussed in a professional matter as they are clearly team efforts, but Trump just went ahead and made all the decisions and told the team what the plan was after the fact.

Shit isn't illegal or anything, but it's fucking retarded.

BOGBOIS

>If he is so good why does the country hate him?
If the country hates him then why was he elected?

because voting power is unfairly distributed to those who hold more landmass rather than the people themselves

Landmass has nothing to do with it. Nice try.

Because of all the egg on Trump's face because he said the electoral college was broken, wanted to tear it down, and told his supporters the one that won the popular vote is the REAL winner and should be president.

That's why he's so obsessed with "proving" his tremendous loss of the popular vote was "illegal", he's more concerned with saving face and proving himself right than anything else.

Because states vote for the president, not people.

Electoral College motherfucker - do you know it?

Imagine if only 5 cities always decide the fate of the nation - fuck it

That is exactly why popular vote is shit and tyrannical

You'd have been fine if you'd have phrased it more politely... University classes don't really like you insulting people like that in my experience.

You gotta realize that the US was never intended to be a single monolithic entity. It was meant to be sort of like the EU, a group of mostly separate entities that handle most things themselves with the federal government just kind of coordinating things between them. This division has eroded a lot over the years and many powers that used to belong to the states now belong to the federal government, but it should still be obvious why just taking a straight majority vote of the people in the country doesn't make much sense. As said the election is much more an election of the states coming together to pick the president than an election of the people. (With the individuals in each state deciding how that state will allocate its votes, something that was not really all that standardized until relatively recently.)

>Why is everybody to shocked and upset by this?

Because the majority of people didn't vote for Trump

Politicians don't usually do this

>In the cold screeching and getting pepper sprayed in the face
>Hey drumpfs, what you got to say now?!

Well, thanks for the daily supply of lefty tears.

How much does it cost to bribe a multi-billionaire?
