On behalf of this state, I'm sorry.

Bump cmon guys

its fucking nothing

Seattle is legit one of the worst places to live.

The homeless problem is huge and yet our faggot mayor wants to waste money on shit like this.

LOOOOOOOOL

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona_v._United_States

Consider that most of the Olympic peninsula went red and even Kitsap fucking County, a sanctuary county with commuter transit to Seattle, barely went blue. I hope all the illegals get deported so King County can't run up the score on the rest of us anymore.

>Trump's immigration ban, the lawsuit says, "is separating Washington families, harming thousands of Washington residents, damaging Washington's economy, hurting Washington-based companies, and undermining Washington's sovereign interest in remaining a welcoming place for immigrants and refugees."

>states are sovereign again

If they were Trump would have never been necessary

I just bought a farm in Clallam County. I swear I will vote republican for errything for the rest of my life.

Trump is being sued by Liberals for protecting the country.

Liberals get charged with child-porn.

>one of the most based places in the country

>west coast shitty liberal state full of degenerates

choose 1

too bad you'll be a gun free farm, faggot jay inslee pretty much wants us to be a single-shot-pistol-only zone

Boot Washington from the Union that way we free ourselves from the shitty liberals that live there and >us12's

It's mostly just faggots around the Puget Sound

take a look at oregon, they're pretty much southern rednecks, doing as they please, while portland is Seattle 2.0 and filled with cucks and drug addicts

If we nuked 4 or 5 cities in the I-5 corridor we'd be set.

This is fantastic news for us in WA.

Ferguson is a piece of shit and this will do more damage to his career than anything the conservative voters in this state could ever hope to accomplish.

>Leftists now talking states rights
>acting like Germany to the rest of shingen
>dat timeline

State's are sovereign entities but the Federal government represents all 50 and individual States don't have Constitutional authority on immigration policy.

T hard core tenth amendment supporter.

In contrast things like legalized marijuana and what Kansas did in making the NFA not apply to their citizens within Kansas'borders building buying and owing NFA weapons are 100% part of their sovereign rights

You only get protected by US law if you are in US territory. the only judges that would hear this cases are the SJWs that Obama appointed, and they will probably say it's hidden in somewhere in the constitution somewhere near fag marriage and muskets

...

far more important scientific discovery.
the earth is flat
independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/universe-hologram-holographic-evidence-3d-astrophysics-university-of-southampton-a7553766.html

I'm hoping trump keeps them busy REEEEing for the next four years, and 3-4 conservative justices btfo of any bullshit they try and pass.

this is the mormon areas vs the non. the west side was mormon colonies if you know your history. if you like trump and what hes doing, at least offer those nice that come to your door a glass of water when its hot out even if you arent interested as we are onboard with you.

We need help getting rid of the non mormon cess pool that is salt lake city and park city. full of gays and libs. any conservative out of staters would we be welcome to migrate in.

Jew York is next

>in New York, Attorney General Eric T. Schneiderman's office is filing to join a federal lawsuit against President Trump that was originally filed by the American Civil Liberties Union Foundation.

Burien checking in......sound off if you're down with the best chips

Hell yeah.

my nigger

Exactly. Immigration effects the country as a whole therefore federal jurisdiction.
Sorta like I am sure the leftists there would be against Idaho importing an invasive animal species en masse that would negatively effect local Washington livestock, agricultural, and natural ecosystems.
>tldr: Mexicans are an invasive species.

Christ why dont they just rename themself the state of Marx already.

>$100,000
Bro, $20 get some spray cans at home depot

On this topic of state sovereignty the 17th amendment is one of the absolute worst things to ever happen to America.
The Senate was never designed to be elected through popular vote it was meant to be appointed positions done by each states local level representatives. The House of Representatives is the People's voice in the Federal government the Senate was always meant to be the State's voice.

If we got rid of the 17th amendment which desperately needs to happen to stifle and even reverse the power of the Federal government the vast majority of senators would not be big government Democrats as state elected county level representatives are largely on the right because that's what most of state's territories are.

>Us 12s

These hemorrhaging liberals are a hoot to watch. I've never seen political self-destruction put on display so openly. I'm used to them doing it behind closed doors.

Also, immigration is one of the enumerated powers of congress:

>Article I, Section 8, Clause 4: To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization

so any arguments by liberals about the 10th amendment can suck my cock. they are nullifying and the national guard should be sent into all sanctuary cities to take them out as has been done when states have nullified federal laws in the past

So much for their suit.

based alaska

Seattle has a statue of Lenin proudly displayed in public.

>In contrast things like legalized marijuana are 100% part of their sovereign rights

100% wrong.

This is obvious except to dumbasses because you don't apply for citizenship to Ohio, you apply for citizenship to the United States. Immigration is something the federal government should handle.

Remember shit like that Everytime anyone says "the government should fix something" or should do something outside of it's legitimate role In a free society

God every time I come to this board I recall what a bunch of fucking morons hang out here. You guys win the prize.

>tfw u live in Seattle
>tfw u surrounded by fags, pink haired 6 chinned new gender leftists
>tfw no hope

JUST

>100% wrong
Where in the Constitution does it authorize the Federal government to dictate what someone can and cannot own or consume

Protip alcohol had to have a Constitutional amendment to be made illegal and the entirety of drug prohibition is just as unconstitutional as alcohol would have been if there wasn't a Constitutional amendment.

O god fuck yourself the people in spokane are cancer

seattle is where its at

>pic-related
GLORIOUS!

>Where in the Constitution does it authorize the Federal government to dictate what someone can and cannot own or consume
Specifically done entirely within an individual state.

Then again the commerce clause has been raped to death from what authority it actually gives the Federal government as well so that was never even a legitimate argument even if we allow the government to get away with it.
youtu.be/UeTkXvL77l8

i hate this cuck state.
or rather its people.
everything is cool except the western half's population.

i blame cuckfornia trasmigrants for its continued decadence and degeneracy

Its happening!

>Where in the Constitution does it authorize the Federal government to dictate what someone can and cannot own or consume

(Article VI, Clause 2)

The constitution grants the power of congress to pass federal law and the supremacy clause dictates that states cannot make laws less strict than federal laws.

>but it doesn't say in the constitution

Congress can pass literally any law that isn't explicitly prohibited in the constitution.

>Protip alcohol had to have a Constitutional amendment to be made illegal and the entirety of drug prohibition is just as unconstitutional as alcohol would have been if there wasn't a Constitutional amendment.

That doesn't mean shit. They only passed amendments because they didn't want another session of congress to undo it at the drop of a hat.

Protip: Banks still don't take pot money, because it's still illegal - it's a billion dollar cash business.

t. pharmacist that had to take drug law and ethics courses.

can't tell if bait, sincere autism, or truth
haven't been to actual spokane (just aroung it) in years, last time I went it looked sadder than usual

More relevant video my bad

States sue the federal government all the time. They can only sue Trump in his official capacity as President, so this won't personally affect him. It will just come down to the Supreme Court deciding whether this action violates the constitution.

>all this drama
>because of these shitholes countries
And Trump is only at 10%.

>The constitution grants the power of congress to pass federal law and the supremacy clause dictates that states cannot make laws less strict than federal laws.
You don't understand what that means nor did you answer my question. Where in the Constitution does it grant the Federal government authority to grow consume build buy or sell anything within a sovereign states government?

The states have no authority to do this to things the Federal government has Constitutional authority to do
Banning drugs or types of firearms amongst damn near everything the Federal government regulates are not within that authority
> Congress can pass literally any law that isn't explicitly prohibited in the constitution.
That's quite literally the exact opposite of how our Constitution functions that's the empty propaganda line that senator feinstien uses when pushing her antigun shit.
> That doesn't mean shit. They only passed amendments because they didn't want another session of congress to undo it at the drop of a hat.
No they did it specifically because of them having no Constitutional authority to do so.

Not gonna lie, former Trump voter here. This is fucking hilarious watching Trump crash and burn. But in all seriousness we can't let this guy get the nuclear codes.

TANKS IN 30 MINUTES

Someone should vandalize that fucking shit

Suing for the right to bring in unvetted 3rd worlders from terrorist hot spots.

Washington state doesn't know how to read. Case closed

>You don't understand what that means nor did you answer my question

That's a fucking two way road retard.
Where the fuck in the constitution does it say you are free to smoke weed?

>citing firearms

Fuck yourself faggot. The 2nd amendment PROHIBITS the government from passing that shit against firearms.

>That's quite literally the exact opposite of how our Constitution functions that's the empty propaganda line that senator feinstien uses when pushing her antigun shit.

If no law exists on the books, states can do whatever the fuck they want. Congress can make said law taking away that ability for the subject in question.
Go ahead retard. Try to make an opioid schedule III in a state instead of II. See how that ends for you.

And again - people can still be arrested for it in CO and no banks will take the drug money.

Yes, and Article I, Section 8 sets out the enumerated powers of Congress which have always been interpreted as an exhaustive list by the Supreme Court throughout the court's entire history.

However, liberals quickly grasped hold of clause 3: "To regulate Commerce... among the several States" (aka the interstate commerce clause) because of its broad reach. However, the interstate commerce power was always subject to the limitation of involving... interstate commerce until FDR threatened to stack the Supreme Court in the 1930s if they refused to uphold his New Deal legislation, and the Court capitulated in a case called Wickard v. Filburn, where they held that Congress could regulate the amount a wheat a farmer grew on his own farm to feed his cattle, with no intent to sell to anyone else, because wheat growing could substantially affect the interstate market for wheat. It was a bullshit reasoning then. It's bullshit today.

Here is the thing. There is this entity called the federal government and the whole of the US is a single nation state. State laws and policies cannot "trump" federal laws and policies. This is because the south lost the civil war. Prior to this the states where sovereign nation states. They were part of a union of states but independent and autonomous. When the union tried to be a federal
government before the federal government existed, South Carolina left the union. Other southern states followed. There was a war. The southern states lost. All the states lost their sovereignty in the process. Liberal champion this but when they don't agree with the president they want their sovereignty back. It doesn't work like that. This is called treason. Treason is punishable by death.

I don't give a shit.

The argument wasn't it is morally retarded to ban pot (it is).
The argument was is pot illegal. And it currently is.

which election was this? I honestly can't remember the last time EBR parish went red. Maybe 2000

BEST REDNECK VIDEO EVER!!

liveleak.com/view?i=c31_1485885612

All that Starbucks and Microsoft money mad because they don't want to hire American workers.

>That's a fucking two way road retard.
>Where the fuck in the constitution does it say you are free to smoke weed?
No you nigger it isn't a two way street.
The Constitution authorizes what the government can do explicitly.
If it doesn't grant that power delegated by the States the Federal government has no authority period. That's what our Constitution was designed to do.
> Fuck yourself faggot. The 2nd amendment PROHIBITS the government from passing that shit against firearms.
Yes explicitly because the founders had the foresight to double down on what the Constitution already did and explicitly restrain it's power even more because they couldn't list of quite literally infinite things we have the 10th amendment.
> If no law exists on the books, states can do whatever the fuck they want.
States can do whatever they want unless it violates their state Constitution or the authority the Federal government has through the Federal Constitution.
> Go ahead retard. Try to make an opioid schedule III in a state instead of II. See how that ends for you.
Making the case that the government is in violation of the Constitution and arrest People anyway isn't an argument in favor of the law it is just a statement of what the government unconstitutionally does.
> And again - people can still be arrested for it in CO and no banks will take the drug money.
See above statement.
>There is this entity called the federal government and the whole of the US is a single nation state.
No it isn't.
The USA is called the "United States of America" because we are a nation of 50 sovereign States with a Federalist central government to handle foreign affairs protect individual liberty throughout the nation and ensure regulated(the original definition of the word meaning in working order) trade throughout the States
> All the states lost their sovereignty in the process.
You can't seem to distinguish the difference between what is Constitutional law what is being done

God damn I can't wait for the Military Parades!

Spokane sucks, but not nearly as bad as Seattle.

Its impossible or at the very least incredibly improbable

Trying to sue Trump means suing the president of the united states, which is impossible
Trying to sue the president is suing the head Executive branch of the united states, which is impossible
Trying to sue the president, the head of the executive branch, is suing the federal government, which is impossible.

>The Constitution authorizes what the government can do explicitly.

Yes, it does retard, and you know what the constitution says the government can do?

Pass federal laws retard.

You're a faggot armchair lawyer.

seattle has my permission to die.

Quite possibly the biggest retard in the thread.

>Yes explicitly because the founders had the foresight to double down on what the Constitution already did and explicitly restrain it's power even more because they couldn't list of quite literally infinite things we have the 10th amendment.

So then by that logic they would have have had to list an infinite list of things they CAN do.

Amendments are in place so congress can't change a law in that area at a moments notice.

Rights are god given, amendments prohibit congress from passing laws infringing on those rights, but anything else is literally fair game.

Bump

microsoft is helping them with the lawsuit. this puts me in a tough spot, since i hate apple. now i have to fucking go full LINUX

I don't understand why the media writes it that way. I've seen all these stories over the last few days of "X sues Trump" but you can't sue him for doing his job.

no, literally seattle is better than that zombiefied city they call spokane. what a dirty, dusty shithole.

LMFAO, suing the POTUS. Good luck, dumbasses.

You should have voted harder, user

>individual States don't have Constitutional authority on immigration policy.

sure they do, individual states can do whatever the fuck they please within reason, the point is that this state is doing it's best to generate debt which doesn't make any sense and is therefore behaving unconstitutionally

What happened to the BBQ one? And not the honey BBQ chips

Cheney here.

Tim's Chips are one of the best things about this state
