he is right though, the exemption mentions religious minorities and other persecuted groups, and obviously this includes christians who have no country to go in the middle east, are persecuted everywhere and even tho 10% of the population of syria were less than 1% of accepted refugees from Syria, and you know why? because they are a minority in the unsafe refugee camps where they are targeted by islamists, just like they were thrown in the water to die in the mediterranean.
