DRUMPYDOODOO IS FINISHED
FINI
FINITO
So who's the judge next in line to get fired?
Yeah, and?
Boston judge just passed it.
Can someone redpill me on how much power these courts have in the US?
In Germany, a court could indeed rule against an executive order, but it would take a lot of time until it is negated
This is just one of Obama's appointees virtue signalling to the rest of the tribe with meager rulings that do nothing to really stop Trump's executive order.
'Checks and balances' does not mean that minor Federal judges can suddenly completely override Presidential authority because he hurts their feelings.
Can't fire a judge, they're elected.
It will get overruled by a higher court almost immediately as it is quite clearly legal and is in fact on of the President's defined powers per Congressional Law.
And this kike judge knows that.
STUPID GLOBALIST SOROS-FUNDED JUDGE HAS DEFIED OUR GLORIOUS LEADER
REEEEEEEEE
/s
federal judges are appointed by the president you idiot
CROMPF BTFO
It won't stand,Haji

CBP higher-ups said they will uphold
get wreckt aspies
how can a local judge overrule federal executive orders? isn't that the domain of federal courts and SCOTUS ?
Pretty sure it's up to every CPB officer's discretion to admit or not admit individuals. Good luck
Yes you can, judges can be impeached.
Also federal judges are not elected.
CBP will just ignore it lel WA is a cuck state and their opinion doesnt matter
who cares?
Trump has more than 3 years to do a lot of other stuff, something like this isn't going to shut him down for good.
DRUMPF?
HARUMPH!
I wad under the impression this was a federal judge.
If not then yeah, this is meaningless.
old news and DHS/TSA said they will enforce the ban
Idiot, the judge was a W. Bush appointee
isn't it treason to undermine legal authority of the president?
Because that's exactly what this judge is doing.
They can't, it's just a judge virtue signalling.
CRUMP FINISHED!!
Actually, the district court judge can issue an injuction against the order. It's not usually done, because they are minor judges, but it's certainly within their power. What they will usually do is rule the order or law to be unconstitutional and then stay their ruling until the Circuit Court reviews it.
It's a federal judge. I guess it's super uncommon for district judges to apply rulings nationwide, but they are legally able to. It'll get appealed to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, which is a notoriously liberal court.
Travel ban is going to SCOTUS
Which is relevant to what I said...how?
Why does "Seattle judge" have authority to override presidential executive order?
Actually he was a GW Bush appointee.
>seattle judge
Nuke washington when
>bush appointee
GAS THE NEOCONS
DUMPFTARD BTFO
There is nothing in the Constitution that obligates the federal government to obey the ruling of courts. In fact, the Constitution doesn't give even the Supreme Court jurisdiction to hear challenges to laws. It's literally just been tradition that the government obeys the courts.
My bad, meant to reply to
the ban just got 90 days longer
They already said the don't care the federal judge says.. they will enforce the ban.
shit is old and bait.
thats it. thx for the heads up faggot.
NEXT!
I find it hard to believe the appeals court is unable to read such a simple law as "the President gets to decide who comes in" - t. Congress
That's what I was thinking. Trump will just escalate this to the supreme court (which he just stacked) if he has to.
Yup
George W appointed, faggot.
Upon what grounds did he find jt illegal? Dont they have to say?
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents defied the orders of federal judges

>clinton had bans
>obama had bans
>trump does a ban and he's the worst person since hitler
when people bring up the "muslim" country ban just tell them obama and clinton did it too
GRUMPF BORFTTT
HOE WULL HI EHRE REGOVER?
TIS OGRE
Green cardholders were still allowed.
He's a federal district court judge. It's almost unheard of for a district court judge to issue such a ruling. When they rule laws to be unconstitutional, they'll usually stay their ruling until an appeals court has overriden it.
What could also happen is that another district court can find Trump's order to be constitutional. That would create quite a mess. This is why district court never issue such binding rulings.
It's the religious undertones. The fact that it's a thinly veiled Muslim ban, and you know it
foxnews.com
>DHS will continue to enforce Trump's travel ban
DHS will continue to enforce Trump's travel ban
>DHS will continue to enforce Trump's travel ban
DHS will continue to enforce Trump's travel ban
There were no religious undertones when Obama placed severe restrictions on these same countries last year?
>were
oh shit, he stopped that too? madman pissing everyone off
They can fight it all they want, but they wont win.
A federal court could put a stay on an order whose legality is being challenged, but they have no actual authority to enforce it, and Trump will just ignore this like he did the last one because he knows if they try to appeal to a higher court with actual authority they'll throw the case out because Trump is 100% acting within the bounds of the Presidency as established by decades of legal precedent.
>when people bring up the "muslim" country ban just tell them obama and clinton did it too
They literally do not care.
These people have gone completely off the deep end. They are irrational and insane.
DRUMNPHF ABSOLUTLEY BTOF
Too bad the text isn't a religious ban.
They'll have a hard time fighting it. And if there's a single terrorist attack during that period every leftist that fought it will look like a fool.
A judge in Seattle.... There is no way he can block it nationally
INA gives the president a blank check to suspend immigration from whichever countries he wants for however long he sees fit.
INA was passed in the 50s by the Democrats. There is nothing illegal in the executive order.
They probably just want to start fighting him early, even if it means losing battles in an absurdly pathetic fashion.
Obama's ban was only on Iraq and was in response to authorities finding evidence that terrorists were planning to attack the US and come from Iraq. It was preemptive, not preventative
Arguing it's a Muslim ban is not even close to believable owing to the 50 or so countries not banned.
How fucking retarded are you to advance such a ridiculous point?
agreed, the ban is not even that severe. Its all pomp and show

This new judge's ruling just happened today.
Lol you CREW guys are a little amusing sometimes but it's just such a joke that you're shilling for evil. Enjoy this chump change. I hope you revitalize your souls and join us in the better society we're building. Evil lost, sorry, the good always wins, it's the eternal story, keep trying though it's cute teehee
He's a federal district judge. He very well legally can
Obama placed severe restrictions on these very same countries last year. He's the one who came up with the list. How the hell does he get off saying the list targets Muslims?
Are these numbers legit holy cow
>Seattle
>terrible shitlib city that's beyond saving
>having any ability to make a stance against a national issue
WEW LAD
Justice Dept here. I come in peace.
Contact the state bar to file a complaint against the judge to try and suspend his/her license and then request an impeachment proceeding.
We need to get these people out. They are destroying the nation's law system.
GREMPHF BTFO!
not gonna lie, former trump supporter here
And DHS will ignore her too.
>seattle judge
>nationwide
this guppie needs to stay in his small pond, he thinks he controls the ocean
>implying a federal judge needs a bar license to hold their seat
>This new judge's ruling just happened today.
doesn't mean shit
the DHS already said they will enforce the ban
Isn't this old news? What's the difference this time?
VICTORY!!
>What's the difference this time?
nothing
These courts can reasonably carry out meaningful checks and balances with the Executive Branch but this case is not legitimate and has no ground for an actual challenge because it has no basis.
i sure as fuck hope so but some comments have said they're going to follow the ruling so im troubled
It means it's not temporary. It's halted all together.
*more than 7 years
If you trust Pew research center... Then yes.
No, the DHS said that they will obey the judge's order. Federal judge has the authority to halt the ban all together.
FREMPF BTFO
wut?
Will this ruling be enforced?
Rekt
Executive Branch ordered the ban. Executive branch has power over anyone who would be able to enforce anything for or against the ban. Basically, a shitty Seattle court can't do shit. They will not only get ignored, but they will be overruled by higher courts. If it was the supreme court or even a circuit court, they might be able to at least look legitimate.
>they will enforce the ban
Can't they be sued now if they do?
It would be enforced as it stands, but it won't stand like this for long. A judge on the circuit court will stay the ruling until they hear it, or another district court will rule it Constitutional.
They already said they would not
PRUMPF!
HOLY FUCKING SHIT POL ITS FUCKING HAPPENING AND YOU DONT EVEN REALIZE IT
IT WAS A FUCKING FEDERAL JUDGE
TRUMP CAN NOT STAND FOR THIS
>ITS HAPPENING
ITS HAPPENING
>ITS HAPPENING
ITS HAPPENING
>ITS HAPPENING
ITS HAPPENING
LOL no a federal judge has the authority to block it. The Whitehouse has to, under law, follow the ruling. If Trump violates it he is breaking the law and can and will be impeached.
disinformation doesn't work.
Until like tomorrow. There will be a stay issued.
If it's appealed to the next court, it's the 9th District Court of Appeals. That's a notoriously liberal court. They could very well uphold the district courts ruling
