I never read anything to that effect. From what I understood it wasn't a very Kindred-driven war but most Camarilla interests were dispersed through Allied Europe.
There is much more implication that the Tzimizce had a close interest in the Nazis due to a mutual affinity for eugenics. Their clanbook even opens with a Tzimizce Panzer commander on the Russian front fleshcrafting his squad onto the inside of the tank to keep from freezing. Some of their other material also suggests they embraced quite a few SS after the war
