How can scientists claim that these are two different species, and yet also claim that all of humanity is only one species?

Michelle obama hates white people

And she might have a penis. FBI please confirm

if they cant produce offspring then they are a different species, blacks can have babies with white (go to sweden)

Scientists are the high priests and oracles of modern society, and they have an agenda.

Can confirm (((she))) has a penis.

>what is a mule

what's the specie of the one on the left?

Last common ancestor of those two was 4.5 to 7 million years ago
Man's was about 200k years ago

Reminder that

1) The IQ requirement for mental retardation was altered because over half of blacks qualified

2) Aboriginals are scientifically proven to not share the common ancestor with real humans

Michelle Obama

Bonobo/Chimp hybrids are possible in captivity, but rare. Apparently they don't fare well as chimps beat the shit out of the weaker bonobos.

because jooz

>What are horses and donkeys
>What are Grizzly and Polar bears
>What are lions and tigers

All of these have known offspring compatibility. Does that make them the same species? No.

>produce fertile offspring
is the correct definition

>Sup Forums understanding of biology

Technically neither horses & donkeys or lions & tigers are compatible, as their offspring are sterile.

A species is often defined as the largest group of organisms in which two individuals can produce fertile offspring, typically by sexual reproduction.

mules are not inherently infertile. they have a very high infertility rate.

also kill yourself

Actually, to clarify on what britbong said, it's one species when you can produce VIABLE(sexually producing) offspring with another.

Mules, Ligers and etc. are sterile offspring, so tigers and lions; horses and mules, are different species.

Though there are some exceptions to that, (eg. coyotes and wolves being able to breed, it's believed), the general rule of thumb regarding species remains true. Essentially, it's one species when 2 individuals are genetically close enough to produce viable offspring.

some female mules can have offspring when mated with a purebred horse or donkey

That's when the last common ancestor humans shared with them existed. Their last common ancestor is much more recent

Ugh... this is bait but I'm replaying because people believe it. The chimp and bonobo in the OP can reproduce and have viable fertile offspring. The same is true of many other species. Coyotes and wolves are an example of distinctly different species that can have fertile offspring.

Also Przewalski's horse has a different chromosome count from other horse breeds and can have fertile and normal offspring.

Sub-Saharan black nigger Bantu tribe Africans are not genetically modern humans. Neither are the Andamese. Or Papuans. Or Abos. There is simply no way these are the same species as Europeans

This is not a mathematical definition, autist. There are something like 30 definitions because everyone has an exception.

Sorry, saw that afterwards
still theirs is between 900k and 1.8mil

Orcas can mate with other orcas, they are officially different species.

Incorrect. First of all, there are no female mules. You can have a hinny, but that is with a female donkey and a male horse, where a mule is the opposite. Neither of them can produce offspring as mules are sterile, and hinnies don't produce eggs.

go edit that sourced article on wikipedia then

Because of what the definition of what a species is, as and said.

Also genetically speaking, white and black people are pretty closely related in human terms, its the native americans and aborigines that we are most distantly related too.

Also, although bonobos and chimps look similar on your computer, they are different sizes, have slightly different anatomies, and have completely different social structure.

Humans just aren't that different from one another, we've only relatively recently colonized the whole world, and we travel long distances through war and trade having sex.

There were old trading cultures all over the coasts of the indian ocean and all of the seas, nobody has been breed pure after 50k years of migrations

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were an expert on the subject.

But here's your source anyways

Left - common chimpanzee
Right - Bonobo

The two species of chimpanzee. What is so remarkable is how different they are in temperament, chimps tend to be raucous and violent while bonobos are very calm and kinder. And scientists acknowledge its due to evolution.

How can we accept this, and then blindly accept that all of humanity is the same? It's madness.

Show us some evidence then, Juan, except >they look diferant xD

Chimps and Bonobos are nothing alike.

Because the Bonobo is a peaceful, intelligent, and clever primate.

While the Chimpanzee is a violent, Savage, and nasty beast.

Whites and blacks are exactly alike!

Were Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens the same species? Or those other early hominids that interbred with aboriginals and what have you?

If so, that seems kind of retarded desu.

>if they can produce offspring that can reproduce then they are the same species.

FTFY.
See the Mule, wholphin, and luger for infertile hybrids.
