Why would you invent a droid that is only capable of 70% of other droids' capabilities? Is incessant beeping that valuable from a design perspective?

Well we've already had a gay droid

There is a pretty decent "binary" joke in there, I just can't formulate it very well.

Wait, Guri is going to be in the movie?

Shut up and take my money!

Not all droids are CIS.

But BB-8 was female

The entire situation is the joke.

...

Nope has to have a female body and voice to be female... cuz logic.

I would find this cute if it wasn't designed to piss me off.

>gender is a social construct
>girl droid is pink

lol

It's actually a male droid who has always identified as a female.

Because, just like Harry Potter, it's important that the audience squirm in the seats dreading that their kids as them to explain it on the way home.

But R4-p17 (Obiwans Red r2 unit that gets destroyed in Revenge of The Sith) is a female droid

Disney is on a roll these past few days...

..you are missing the point.

...

Uhhhh

Ok satin nigger, I will do anything you say. you scare me.

Wait, didn't the silver protocol droid at the start of phantom menace have a female voice?

are you so dumb you seriously think that thing is a female?

EV-9D9 from ROTJ was female. Durr. *^_^*

(((THE GOYIM KNOW)))

I thought the one from TFA was already a female...

No, you are right I would totally fuck that and make a baby. So hot.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A MALE OR FEMALE DROID KIDS!

fe·male
ˈfēˌmāl/
adjective
adjective: female
1.
of or denoting the sex that can bear offspring or produce eggs, distinguished biologically by the production of gametes (ova) that can be fertilized by male gametes.

I always thought R2 was a girl.

LONG AGO IN A GALAXY FAR AWAY

>a June 1918 article from the trade publication Earnshaw's Infants' Department said, “The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls. The reason is that pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl.”
>Today’s color dictate wasn’t established until the 1940s, as a result of Americans’ preferences as interpreted by manufacturers and retailers.

fuckin sjw

>So how can a droid have a gender again?

You give it the stereotypical characteristics of a women's razor blade of course!

these are not the droids I am looking for

Faggots forgot about TC 14, it's a female droid.

lol
really makes ya think

>first female droid

Nigger, please.

Let me clean that post for you.

do you novices even try?

It's kind of hilarious, in their push to look all inclusive they forgot that quite a few droids were shown as being female voiced and programmed in Star Wars previously. Hell EV-9D9 was built as a female type and was a sadistic torturer due to programming quirks.

Jabba's torture bot might be stretch, but this protocol droid had the perfect female voice. But then again, they're robots without sex, assigning them male or female is basically arbitrary. That gonk droid could be female but you'd never know, or care.

did you just assume my baseboard?

Then that just makes it female because it's not differing its personality from a biological reality. Any owner would probably just reboot the droid because it's acting stupid.

First black droid, winter 2020

No, this is the first one, R2_Dindu

kek n check

>where's the transgender bot?

Every day I wake up and I think to myself "there's no way anything can make me rage harder than I did yesterday"

But there's always something

This must be how people become serial killers and shit

Futurama did that years ago.

kek, That was actually really clever user
(You have been awarded 1 internet)

Holy fuck that was the nigerest thing i saw in time

>Uhh, gender is a social construct, bigot!
>Omg this new movie is going to star a FEMALE character wooo!!!
