Thoughts in monarchy and/or landed aristocracy?

Exactly what it says on the tin. For/against the idea of a monarchy and a landed aristocratic class.

aristocrats tend to form an incestuous international clique not unlike world jewry. i strongly dislike them.
monarchy has many great perks, but i don't like it. ruling for multiple generations tends to create a strong disconnect from reality in the royal family, as well as absurd levels of hybris and arrogance. this spells disaster for the nation.

yes lets all aspire to have our own Habsburg jawline

True, but I do like the idea of a reigning figurehead that acts of a culture symbol that the majority of the populace can look to in times of crisis. A semi-constitutional monarchy can also mediate in the affairs of government should the elected body attempt to seize absolute power and turn the nation into a one-party system. I personally go for a mix of elected and hereditary office that answers to God and the people respectively.

Y'all niggas need some Hoppe. Absolutistic monarchy is the shit. Just throw in an Americaish bill of rights and a constitution that defends itself against the monarch and be set
Yaya I know it's not an absolute monarchy then but when I say constitutional monarchy people think of UK

Restore the monarchies of europe

A balance of power between the monarchy/aristocracy and the elected government with an American-style Bill of Rights sounds like a good idea.

Bourbon or Bonaparte?

Romanov or Vasa?

Didn't the Germans try to put a Prince on the Finnish throne during WWI?

the bonaparte took power illegitimately in a coup against the king.

Bourbon duh.
Bonaparte was a mason

There were a few times during the 20th century when the Bourbons could've been restored. Now it seems that the Republic is far too entrenched, barring another revolution.

It wouldn't be a revolution, but a restoration.

The republic is illegitimate.

All it takes is a group of people to organize and crown the heir to the throne and start serving him, then to spread the news of this for this state to be recognized until the republic becomes abolished by the king - at least that's how i see the restoration happening.

A peaceful restoration is indeed the best option. I wonder if the Germans would accept Georg Fredrich?

What exactly is "landed aristocracy"?

And monarchies are dumb.
>"You get to rule a whole country because you popped out of the right vagina"

Take the Austrian Emperor. Make reunification happen too

>You get to rule a whole country because you popped out of the right vagina
And still work better than democuckcy. You are aware that slander isn't an argument right?

I don't mind the idea of a republic, having a government that serves the people's interests is a good idea. But also having a figurehead that ties the people to their past and serves the public as head of state whilst delegating responsibility of government to the people.

By no means a perfect system, but a system of government nevertheless. In my eyes, the landed aristocracy is supposed to act as a pillar of society that serves both the government and the people (the idea of noblesse oblige - nobility entails responsibility).

I'm for it. I like both Fascism and Monarchy. You have to admit for Germany both systems worked
>inb4 muh wars

The Kaiser held most of the power but he had some checks and balances and worked together with the Chancellor (Otto von Bismarck).

And under Fascism/Nat-Soc Hitler held all the power.

I just wish Wilhelm II wasn't such a fucking retard. He should have used Realpolitik like Bismarck did so that Russia would have stayed allied to Germany. This way they would have easily won World War I and both monarchies would still be alive today.

>Take the Austrian Emperor.

modern habsburgs are massive shills for globalism, as is the entire rest of continental nobility.

To suck up to the public. These things change very fast if a real perspective for restauration is on the horizon

I've heard that the current head of the Hapsburg family isn't willing to give enough fucks to bring back the monarchy. His (Otto von Hapsburg) did try to restore the monarchy during the 1920's however when the post-WWI peace process was being hammered out.

For, definitely.

The best system would probably be something along the lines of the Venetian system, where different aristocrat families elect a monarch for life, after which it passes to a different family, and so on. Works out the kink of potentially getting a bad heir. Europe was built by monarchies. Democracy destroyed it.

Austria-Hungary could've held together if it wasn't for that Serb...

monarchism is the way of future my dear boy!

See The approval for monarchy now or even a few years ago would be what? 0,001%? While the rest would call him a power hungry asshole.
These things must be carried to him by the movement not demanded by the monarch in question

Agreed. A noble republic sounds like a good system.

Maybe a new HRE with the German state would work, by electing members from each remaining royal households in Germany/Austria. Former Saxony, Bavaria, Thuringa, Hanover, Austria/Bohemia etc.

Long live the British Empire...

Hong Kong must be reclaimed :P

I think an aristocratic-type class arises over time without the help of being raised to such a level by a king. However I'm not totally opposed to a monarchy with several estates. The only countries I think that can have that are countries which still have a seated monarch, like England, Denmark, and so on.

I just want a less democratic republic, that is, restrictions on who can vote, certain rights, a smaller Fed and state government, etc. In other words, a pre-Civil War American republic.

Getting support from the people works. But the future of pro-monarchy parties in the European republics is slim... I've heard that Romania and maybe the Serbs don't mind the idea though due to their former monarchs being in the public eye quite a lot.

To each his own, I guess.

We do have a landed nobility in the form of either arrogant celebrities and politicians anyway...

Of course. But crazy times are upon Europe. If a Trump-ish leader would emerge it could gain enough support to take lead in a crumbling state

>pro-monarchy parties
wow wow, parties?

Restoring the monarchy doesn't go by the coup d'état republics. They must be restored simply by having a group of people crowning a king and then recognizing him as the state and passing the news onto others.

There have been democratic monarchist parties for decades which haven't had any success, and it's silly also.

Monarchs are cannibals and child rapists.

Monarchy is far worse than democracy.

Stop larping for this absolute cuckoldry. Some of the worst degenerates were monarchs, and are to this day.

If someone could hammer out a compromise between Marine le Pen and the Bourbon pretender, that would be great. Make France Great Again?

That may be true, but you could say the same about republics and other forms of government. I'm not saying that a monarchy is a be-all-end-all of government. Everything has it's faults.

Erisianism is the only way.

No masters. No slaves.

That's where we are transitioning into.

Eris is the goddess of discord. We praise Kek, which is basically just the same thing.

Through chaos we bring the light.

Prince Charles desu

in every possible way a monarch is greater than marine le pen

Marine le pen wants to exit the euro, so would a monarch. Marine le pen doesn't want to reverse the flux of immigration by ethnic non gallic foreign, a king would as he's the king of the french (gauls). Marine le pen supports the socialist state programs, a king eventually restore the old 1% or less taxes on the poor from the old time of the monarchies. Marine le pen is a woman who wants to govern in a republic, this is inferior to a king ruling in a monarchy.

I'd prefer a compromise between a populist (not necessarily le Pen/Farage/Wilders) and a monarch. Someone who support the whims of the people. Also someone who can deal with the migrant problem...

The royal family actually gives more money from property rights to the states than it takes.

>anachronistic
>It's 2015 COME ON

>smug
How pathetic is it to be you

Jews are fine, as is nationalism so long as it's not used to promote genocide. Soros is a problem on the basis that he funds far-left causes while the rest of the elites sit in their ivory towers and become disconnected to the whims of the people.

Not to mention the cash that rolls in from tourism. Plus the approval ratings of European monarchies are usually above 60%.

You mean like a.....Fuhrer.....

Monarchy is just letting genetic inbreds cuck for jews who run their accounts. Like it was in the late 1700's.

>How pathetic is it to be you
lol says the blue-blood bootlicker

Enlightened absolutism like under Old Fritz is the way to go. Kaiser Bill fucked Germany over big time, destroyed most of what the Prussians worked for. Honestly, I'd take a continuation of that legacy and skip Adolf, at least then Germany wouldn't be a self hating joke

When in doubt, it's always the Jews. Isn't it?

> Be Sup Forums
> Blame everything on der Juden

Fridericus rex unser könig und herr...

If only Kaiser Bill was into realpolitik and made amends with the Brits. Germany is doomed if they don't get back to being patriotic, at the very least.

Fuck off you cannibal loving faggot.

All monarchs are degenerate filth.

Jews are cannibals now? I thought the idea was that they weren't even human?

Can't we find another ethno-religious group to blame? The Jews are getting old. The IDF is based as fuck anyway.
