Libertarianism

When did you grow out of libertarianism Sup Forums?

When I realized Ancap is the future.

When I saw red banners in America.
Death is a preferable alternative to communism

I didn't 'grow out of it'. A libertarian society is what I would consider perfect.

>lul

never

I didn't

...

When I realised that private property and capitalism were antithetical to freedom.

Freedom :')

This fucking flag haunts me.

saved

Free trade nazis? Sounds about right. Also, you should spare the rest of us from wasting a bullet and perform a self-execution.

you got it, mein neger.

I'm a monarchist, so I never grew into it in the first place.

when I developed a basic understanding of human nature

I thought Libertarian policies in a pure state are similar to communism in that it assumes people are perfect, and rational. I still think we need to lean towards it in certain ways, but you can't go all out.

The comparison to communism is oddly spot-on, I noticed that too

I didn't
It is the masterrace

I vote with my wallet though. Person with the lowest taxes, and least regulations planned. Cruz, then Trump.

when I noticed all the Libertarian thinkers had names like Hatzenberg, Ratzenberg, Patzenberg and Shapiro

>chastity leading to single parenthood
>chastity and marriage leading to broken families
>gender roles cause low birth rates
This whole fucking graph is a mess.

Dumbest ideology ever
>no authority and everyone equal ftw! oh wait someone wants to have his own property we must use authority unto him

>primitives
>using guns

Libertarian master race checking in. All other political systems are immoral, debate me.

Oh wait, I forgot that this also exists so that make AnCom 2nd dumbest ideology

>grow out of
Libertarian is the only correct position to take.

use your head, rotated Peru

notice the stars

I didn't
I only grew into it stronger

Never

Libertarianism is literally survival of the fittest at its purest form.

Never, I just added a sprinkle of fascism

t. anarcho-capitalist/fascist

When I die you statist pleb

After talking in person to about ten or so libertarians when I realized what the average libertarian is like and how disconnected they are about actual real world problems. They are great for economic ideas but often that's about it.

I realized Radical Islam can't be fought with a non-intrusion approach.

...

...

>Libertarianism is literally survival of the fittest at its purest form.

Er... if libertarians can pass on their wealth then it isn't survival of the "fittest", it's survival of the luckiest kid with the richest dad.

Libertarianism ends after the first generation of "homesteaders". After that, it's a fast decline into Fuedalism.

>common strawman of the free market
>actually happens irl but by a state agency

Libertarianism only works if the culture and virtues of the people are strong. No virtue, no society. Either have a strong religion, or a strong gov't.

When I realized Nationalist Libertarianism is what the founding fathers truly intended.

Yeah this

>Nationalist libertarian

You do realize national borders are defined by a state?

National libertarianism goes by the principle "hard on the outside, soft on the inside".

Never was for all out libertarianism.
But the reason for not doing this is the paternalistic nature of it.

We know what's best for you , ergo we should dictate what you can and can't do.

Disgusting.

Who pays for the "hard outside"?

Can I ask something about libertarianism?

Hasn't it been shown to NOT work before? What was the deal with the railroad and oil monopolies with dudes like Rockefeller and Carnegie? In a libertarian society, wouldn't that just happen again?

Or am I just underestimating the government's reach during this period?

Of course. Monopolies will always bully and take over if left unchecked. Which is why most libertarians are more interested in personal freedoms and a less bloated government

Libertarianism is not ancap.

Most libertarian authors list national defense as one of the few roles of government in a libertarian society.

you mean:
when did your grow into understandment that the syntasis of fascism and liberterianism is the perfect system?

Around Trump's election, actually. Open borders are just anti-freedom unless the culture coming in is more pro freedom. Why don't more libertarians see a problem with importing people who love socialism and are fine with letting coastal liberals disarm us?
