Millennial is anyone born after 1980

Good answer sexy

>Brown eyes

Eww

Sounds like bad parenting desu, school doesn't teach finances

the real millenial problem is their faggot parents

real problem is that economy class were remove from high school... at least here. also basic philosophy was remove long before I even got in highschool.... thats problematic...

>QUOIT FRAEKLI YOOR BLATENT AWTEMT AT SEKSHOOALITY IS FOOKING DIZGOOSTING

sounding very millennial. What did the parents actually do to you, faggot? If you invested your income in savings right now on the average job you'd be able to retire with a house by your 40's

>Brown cock

välsmakande

No, the real problem is that they don't want to work hard and get kid's.

And i'll let you on a secret as a bonus; While you work hard, you get to play hard.

it did in the 80's when I went to school

>be me

>DIS IS NAUGHT A LEGITI-

Graduated hs 2012
Most finance I learned was how to write a check in fifth grade during Jr achievement

Finances should be taught but the bigger problem is people spending way out of their price range just so they can keep up with stupid fads or to show off to their friends to be cool.

Going to university is one of these. 3/4 of the students wouldn't be there or drop out in their first year and just went because they were mimicking their friends without a purpose in life.

The real problem is the boomers. They voted in favor of their self interest and said "fuck the future" at every turn of the their lives. I am an older millennial, born in 1984, and as a kid growing up I can vividly remember seeing news stories talking about how the future was bleak on many fronts including the environment due to global warming and pollution and the employment sector industry due to outsourcing, and the typical refrain was "So what? I'll be dead by then".

No it's narcissism and Internet addiction

Well it's hard to understand finance and savings when most jobs available can cover rent and food and little else and better "entry level" jobs require five years experience. Combine that with the entire generation brainwashed into going to college and it's a recipe for disaster.

They lack vitamin N...

1. Dumb parents who think that replacing "whatever, kid" with "you can be anyone you want!" is actual parenting.
2. No role models, so the source of their mantras is Facebook macro images with captions, like "money don't bring happiness" (while in fact it's the only thing that does)

>ESS JAY DOOBL YEWS

Among some of my "successful" friends, as in got a post grad degree and have a well paying job, their financial planning is garbage. Have over 100k in loan debt but live like a 100k salary. Want to buy a house and willing to have a mortgage with an even higher interest rate. Want to buy new car because the other is old, less than 5yrs. Always complain they have no money.

oh yeah i totally wouldn't bang her. yeah those gorgeous i mean totally disgusting brown eyes really just chap my ass.

I think he means mellinnial parents didn't teach their kids responsibility because overprotective feelings based parenting is really popular
>it's no longer important to teach a child how to be responsible and farsighted
>now it's all about protecting them from responsibility and feeling good about themselves

my dad dun goofed on parenting in that regard. you can't treat kids like adults because the AREN'T ADULTS. burger raisers don't seem to get this or how lazy it is. also, parents here don't talk to their kids about anything useful. i blame boomer culture.

xD

No, their real problem is being a bunch of spoiled crybabies who has never had to work for anything in their lives.

1982.
Bingo.

No. It's the sense of entitlement that we (Gen X) stupidly saddled them with.

Most millenials don't have savings and have no reason to understand finance. Finance and savings are the preserve of those lucky enough to be born in an era where interest rates weren't miniscule and people had extra capital they could invest with. Most people under 30 can barely even afford to move out of their own parents' houses let alone get involved in stocks and shares.

that and their inability to cope with capitalism.

I have no issue hording my sheckles

1996 here, I run a very small gas station. I hire a lot of people around my age, and have spoken at length with a lot of people both older, and younger as part of doing PR work for my business (People are more inclined to shop at my shitty hole in the wall if they know, and respect me.) I've found that a whole lot of people my age just don't understand economics at all.

A lot of the older guys say the same thing you mentioned. The middle aged people tend to range from the problem of "Fuck the future" to "I don't care about that sort of thing." The republicans in my area tend to be more well informed, but very conservative socially. The only Trump supporters my age know literally nothing about politics, government, or economics.

Speaking from personal experience, the vast majority of poor people don't understand savings, and finance. A lot of people that make a lot of money spend that much money. Its not just millennials.

After seeing so many of these threads, I would actually say that the biggest characteristic of Gen Y is that they're really, really self-loathing. Seriously, you guys bash yourselves so fucking much and it's really getting old. Just because some of them are leftists, doesn't mean you have to hate yourselves and everyone in your age group.

Yeah.
It's disgusting.

>inability to understand savings and finance?

there is nothing to save and "finance"

inlfation and wealth disparity has gone too far, it's literally meaningless now unless you were born rich.

Weak parenting, entitlement as a result of this weak parenting, and, like said, being fucked over by the brunt end of the short term benefits the boomers gave themselves.

Psh 'Finances'.
We already have basic math.

I have x amount in bank account.
I spend y amount
Therefore I have z left.

Don't need a class for that

Partially.

The real problem is being supported well into adulthood via "college" (extended high schooling, at this point) and governmental policies such as being on mommy's insurance until you're 26.

Adulthood has essentially been pushed back into the mid 20s. So by the time they're expected to take care of themselves they're just completely lost because a third of their expected lifespan has been spent in adolescence, conveniently about the age the brain finishes its development..

Being financially retarded is just an extension of being coddled for so long.

Maybe where you are from, but this here is the land of opportunity. You are not going to be the next Trump, but if you are smart about it you can make more money than you will know what to do with.

I don't know where the hell you're from, but that isn't the case here. Our Russkie friend hit it dead on.

>If you invested your income in savings right now on the average job you'd be able to retire with a house by your 40's

If you went to work, ate only one meal a day, paid all of your necessity bills and never spent any of it on yourself. You still wouldn't retire at 40 on the average. Unless you consider eating ramen and never going out "retiring".

Lmao

It's true
We do

Nice try. The other side of that coin is that money is cheap so if you work at it a bit, you can have great credit to combine with some savings and get into some property early on.

Where do you live, where have you worked, how old are you, do you have any savings? I will point you to the nearest financial opportunity.

Obligatory
rt.com/usa/373652-millennials-earn-less-baby-boomers-report/
Not complaining or giving excuse just let me get by.

How the fuck do you save money when almost half the year here is spent paying the state, dollar is devalued by monetary policy, and housing prices, amoung many others, are determined by cheap credit/debt?

> more money than you will know what to do with
The devaluation of money was exactly his point, you tard.

I understand how to save money, the problem is that we can't make enough money between taxes, shitty jobs and student loans.

finance and economics is not taught in schools anymore. i dont know why.

R people serious with the brown eyed white ppl hate

>student loans
Well that is the first problem.

They are faggots.

And then we're going to smoked by the upcoming great global recession along with all the big talkers in this thread.

real problem is banking making creating debt easy, so they can overcharge everything.

3 bedroom houses selling for $280,000 when it was built for 120k, and already paid off by the previous owner. Why does it cost 280? because with easy loans people can pay and the bank literally can't lose money on it if they end up not being able to pay.
Some colleges cost 40k a year, because Fed education loans are easy as hell to get, so schools know people can afford that price.

Cut down amount of debt people can take on, prices for things like education and housing drop and improve people's standards of living across the middle and lower class.

There's a reason why credit became huge in the 1920's and then in the 30's the world went bankrupt.

Thanks boomers. Coulda just kept gov out of the loan market but nnnooooooooooo everyone should go to college :^)

he's right though. i started with nothing, and now i can retire if i want to.

basically you gotta be cheap as hell

even only flushing the toilet when you shit and leaving it when you puss cheap

put the savings into a TFSA or growth fund

I wonder ((why))

Only on fake blond in OP, looked wierd.

Underrated and trips

What?
What is math?
Understanding math will get you good with (((finance))) and (((economy))).

I'm 23 and my credit score is above 780, I save %60+ of my money, and I'm paying my way through school out of pocket while working full time on the weekends.

Exceptions to every rule friendo

you're doing it again!

Capitalism hasn't existed in the United States for over a century. Almost all of our problems would be solved by returning to it.

...

Yes, and world history

Let me guess you don't own overpriced iPhon or buds or imac or any other overpriced shite?

The real problem is that there isn't any capital available at their level of employment and their isn't any employment at their level of experience and their isn't any experience available at their level of availability due to abject poverty.
They are living in a generational depression. That's why they shop at thrift stores and make their own canned goods.
They will survive long after we're gone and tell stories about how decadent we were to their little tattooed children.

...

Explain.
You want to be China like?

It's so (((they))) can force you into wageslavery and to support their socialist ideas to keep you dependent on the system.

>even only flushing the toilet when you shit and leaving it when you puss cheap
We went from one man being able to support a whole family and pay off house and car quickly to fermenting stale piss in a one bedroom apartment. Wonderful.

*BRAAAAAAP*
Ohhhh my
*sniffs*

trips of truth desu

Among other things...

NOT WHITE

You cannot live outside system retard. You need electricity. You need water filter if you want to have well in your yard. You need land and wood if you need energy resources.

If you want to live outisde system there is still offer of free land on Sybir. Go ahead.
Putin will give you free land, house, ...

GO. You wont make it 2 months.

No, at least not here.

Stop with this stormfront meme. Its getting stale.

>If you want to live outisde system there is still offer of free land on Sybir.

lol you wish, it's behind the Arctic Circle in Primorye and Far East

I keep seeing parents who still do their kids laundry and clean their room, and this "kid" is 19.

Something happened to parenting where the priority is now "don't ever let your child have any bad experiences no matter what".

>if you get a sun tan you are no longer white

>Is the real millennial problem their inability to understand savings and finance?

No user. The real problem is the previous generation is keeping the millennials down by low shitty wages and outsources all the other jobs to india or china.

Millennials are fucked. Unless their parents are rich, they really can't do much to get good pay. Millennials will work all their life without getting to retire.

Are you kidding?

That was the equivalent if being against open borders back then.

If you didn't think every little pumpkins should have the God Given Right to go to college, then you were an evil bigot/hater/racist/killer-of-puppies.

And they didn't have the internet to counter MSM.

the GOV shut down backpage

>brown eyes
>white

pick1

>savings

How the fuck am I supposed to save when I'll have student loans to pay off for 5 years after graduating? Assuming I find a job immediately - most people don't have a real position in their field until 2+ years after graduating.

Then there's the fact that boomers have DESTROYED the housing market and made it impossible to enter unless you already own a house to use as leverage. Combined with the fact that people are making LESS money than they were 20 years ago but the price of everything has increased more than inflation, it has created the worst economic situation possible for young adults.

The rich fat old boomers have cannibalized our generation for their own gain and then wonder why millenials aren't buying their overpriced homes.

Do you seriously believe this aryan boy is not white?

Also not teach Latin in the USA. If you know Latin you can learn any language with a Latin base (Italian, Spanish, German) and become fluent in a months time.

>Kira Knightly
>pretty

>bulgaria
>taste.

But why do people pay 280k? Because there is no competition. Public sector keeps zoning and building on a too low level to keep property prices up and rising. This also encourages to speculate on property prices as they tend to go up.

Schooling is because also there is not enough competition. You have to have a degree to get a job and schools can force students to pay as much as they want because of that. People also can't just start up new schools and push the prices down.

Is it really only the millennial problem?
Most people have zero understanding how the economy and financial system work.

Millenials re inheriting the biggest debt burden of all time.

This means in practical terms your currency has less value.

In fact your currency is debt.

You cant "save" debt since saving needs to be "value".

Millenials are robbed at every turn because boomers need their retirement funds to be valuable.

Keeping millenials chasing after currency keeps the need for it alive and therefore the savings and retirement funds of the boomers valuable.

In reality all currency is FAKE and has no value, inherent OR percieved.

The best thing millenials can do is stop believing their national currency is valuable and start their own or use silver or crypto-currencies.

Yeah but modern banking was invented ~40 years ago and millenials are the first generation growing up with it.
By (((modern banking))) i mean you can buy yourself shit and goods which you cannot afford.
I mean modern day credit card debt. So yea its millenial problem and their failed parents for not

Pretty much this. But not only finances, things like a lack of values and degeneracy are some other problems derived from a bad parenting.

No, it's the irresponsible economic policies of their dipshit Boomer parents that have destroyed their futures.
