This meme that mankind and its behaviors are not natural needs to end. Society is a natural part of many primate species lives. The fact of the matter is we are now pushing away what is natural, on the assumption that because it is not logical, it is not natural. I understand that monogamy and such doesn't make sense from an evolutionary viewpoint, but for it to form across nearly all cultures would mean there is likely a human inclination for these behaviors that has been inherited.
