ban it, let employers pay whatever the fuck they want
hire an employee, let them work for one month for free, evaluate them, if you feel they are worth 7.25 an hour, keep them and up their pay
if they aren't, fire them
it's a better idea than paying them outright
it will encourage people to bust their ass constantly, i want to see 12-15hr shifts at mcdonalds if these fucks want 15 an hour
Julian Diaz
Thank you. Nobody ever makes this point and it's the point I've been making for years.
Carter Murphy
>how will they survive for a month for free!
pay ahead fuckheads
get a savings account
your average unemployed person has atleast 300 in his or her savings account (if they are smart)
Joshua Smith
bump
i'm dead serious
if you really really really want a 15 buck an hour wage
be prepared to work 12-15hr shifts, because that's only fair
if you only work 38-40 a week, you dont deserve above whatever your state has for the min wage
(In nebraska it's 9 an hour)
Asher Myers
really employers shouldnt pay anyone, you are just there to make sure they make money
so bust your fucking ass
>downtime in restaraunt grab a mop bucket and clean the floors then, clean the bathrooms, wipe down the soda machine, sanitize the tables
i work in a REAL restaraunt and i only make 4 an hour, you dont see me bitching
Levi Green
Good luck. Leftist genuinely think if we do away with minimum wage that engineers will start making $4 an hour
Christian Miller
>let them work for one month for free easy to say for a lazy fuck that lives off of daddy's money
Isaiah Hughes
if you think affirmative action is bad now then just wait until hr can de facto fire you for being a white male by paying 0.63 an hour
Joshua Myers
Tell me more how us goyim should slave away for pittance, Goldberg.
Ryan Wood
This is why you're a shitposter on Sup Forums and not someone that can write government policies.
Luis Young
>one month for free
So if I just got fired in this ancap paradise I better hope I have enough rent for one month AND that my boss doesn't fuck me over for free labor.
Thanks Trump!
Jaxon Diaz
shut the fuck up, argentina
Nolan Green
Actually banning minimum wage would increase wages as people in the private sector would flock to unions to keep their wages higher. Thus unions obtain bigger constituencies and thus more power over employers.
Christopher Lewis
Wow, your bait really rustled my jimmies.
Lincoln Williams
I still think that banning the min wage would be a good idea
Jaxon Mitchell
Damn that s the stupidest things i have never heard.
>hope your company doesnt make anything that people have to buy, since a large majority will now not have any expendable income or purchasing power.
>middle class diminishes. >if an economy hjust becomes a poor class making luxury goods for a ridiculuse upper class, 9/10 they just stop working and instead will illegally occupy good land.
Nolan Turner
>work a month for free That's called slavery
I can't figure out why'd Id give you a month of my time for free to earn you money.
Employees make the company tenfold what they are being paid.
Its not a privilege to work for you Its not a privilege to make you money
Fuck off low life
Jacob Nelson
Yeah, because that's totally going to work.
Employers would pay you in rocks if they had the chance to.
Banning the min wage, would give them the chance to do so.
Just say you want legal slavery.
Owen Price
This doesn't actually work. Minimum wage and ways of paying for human resources is calculated by design. They want to pay you as little as they can without you leaving but not so much that you can explore other options besides their capital interests. There are a lot of good ideas our there and they aren't interested for very specific reasons: to take in as much revenue as possible while paying out as little as possible. In practice it doesn't always work out that way but the existing system is reliable in the long run. The well-being of their employees is never a concern except when defined by law and laws can be changed.
Jaxon Wright
Well kiked
Sebastian Gonzalez
Bills(most of you underage neets dont know what this is) wont wait until you get your pay two months later after a big IF.
Job hunting aint gonna get any easier for ordinary humans. The numbers aint gonna get any lower, quite the opposite, automation is unstoppable.
We're gonna reach a breaking point where people will gonna have to let money go and we'll have huge chunks of populations on some kind of wellfare. Its the endgame of every 1st world country minus the socialist mumbo jumbo, which ditches the machines and go straight to the top and fail miserably.
Machines take care of everything and you'll get free access to everything
Alexander Kelly
And a much higher percentage works for 10 cents more which is virtually the same and a percentage works for less (paid in tips). Most people especially today are underpaid, that is obvious to people in the workforce for years. Salaries have decreased over the years even with inflation. That was the target effect of globalization and why there is a populist uprising against it today
Jack Phillips
>paid in tips
and why is that a problem?
the employer has to match your earning to the min wage so you're making 9 bucks an hour either way
say you earned 500 bucks in the min wage scale, but you made 350 in tips
so, as a result, if you report the tips (it's company policy to do so in nearly every single employers handbook) then your check will only be 150
the shitlibs who bitch about this are the ones who spent their tip money on day one,
Jason Carter
>the ones who don't report their tips
they have to or they can face a write-up or termination
Josiah Jenkins
>Bills(most of you underage neets dont know what this is) wont wait until you get your pay two months later after a big IF
yeah they will
just tell them
"i dont have the money this month" and they will put it on your next bill
Evan Thomas
>please snowball my ass to oblivion
Pfft.
Angel James
i've gone 4 months without a phone before, and 1 month without internet, had to make my calls from a coffee shop down the road using a 7 year old laptop and skype
you make sacrifices
Julian Jones
when it comes down to keeping gas in my old truck (1994 Dodge Ram) vs having internet, i'm going to pick the truck
Daniel Anderson
>Flood country with immigrants >Wages drop to $0.50/hour.
Nice.
Brayden Parker
t. kid that's never worked
Landon Perez
>sell it for a better one
the truck is only worth 800 bucks and I don't have the energy to hunt for a little NPR-mobile (newer cars)
Kevin Howard
You so clearly have never held a real job OP
Liam Cruz
if you're smart with your money you can live somewhat decently off the minimum wage
>cell phone any pre-paid plan, you don't fucking need unlimited data if you're going to be using public wifi a lot
>housing cheap studio apartments
>entertainment most companies charge 30 a month or less for high speed internet service, and Netflix is only 10 a month, and there's a new thing called Sling TV which gives you Live TV for less than 30 bucks a month
>clothing Goodwill and any other thrift stores
>keeping said clothing clean laundromat, stop being this stupid
>medical get a catastrophic plan, if you legit have a medical condition that requires you to have constant doctors visits, see about getting dissability payments
>food budget it in, buy fresh ingredients from farmers markets, buy cookbooks designed for people on low income
i had to do this life for 5 fucking years and i survived just fine
was working for Walmart, McDonalds, and a grocery store at the same time and combined i pulled over 65 hours a week from all three jobs
you can survive, you just have to push yourself
Jace Long
How about we lower the cost of living instead? So far everyone has tried to fuck around with wages to solve things but nobody ever tries to come at it from the other end
Evan Richardson
Won't people just start stealing if working jobs doesn't provide you with any sort of wage? This is the fucking dumbest thing I've ever heard.
