well it depends HOW NK falls. if done by western influence then it will become a democracy and likely remerge with SK. its probable there is an underground movement there that teaches about the outside world.
if china is responsible then the set up will be more like the chinese system. quasi communist with freeing up of markets.
i mean at the moment NK is very poor and is helped with trade to china, who allow it in its current state as at least NK is not an ally of the US. however, with NK supposedly coming closer to developing nuclear weapons, even china won't tolerate them to exist in their current state with the possibility of having nukes.
my view is that the NK problem will be resolved by the time Trump leaves office. they won't have developed nukes and they won't be the same totalitarian regime as exists today.
