Rain and Rubble Snowmelt and thunder Let califags huddle And engineers blunder Let the waters rage And the barriers burst Hail Kek's change For this land will be cursed. Wash away the wicked kill them all A new world will emerge Cali must fall Blow the dam Praise the flood Scour the land With rock and mud. May the cuck dam crumble As Kek demands As it falls it will rumble Claiming all the innocent lands
> What happened so far - Main spillway got damaged - because of no maintaining - because Cali thought that they will never have that much water again - because of Muh Climate Change. And they needed the money for illegals. - They closed the main spillway to inspect the damage - Because of the closed main spillway, water went over the emergency spillway - Emergency spillway was in even worse condition and it got BTFO pretty bad - They opened the main spillway again, so that water doesn't go over the emergency spillway any longer - Main spillway gets slowly BTFO and half of it is gone. But it is stable at the moment. - They try to "repair" the emergency spillway because if rain hits hard, water will go over it again (even if they keep the main spillway open) and would rek the dam
> Be careful! There is plenty of old footage marked als livestream!
>can't tell for sure, but those shaky trees lead me to believe it's raining Doesn't really matter if it rains at the dam, the highlands to the north is where the water comes from, it could be dry in the valley and spilling down in the mountains.
Holy shit, that more than doubled in an hour. Looking forward to the next readout now.
This dam is a Busta for sure!

There was no inflow data for that period (so net flow can't be calculated)

Are bags of rocks enough to stop the will of kek?

Will we get new images once the sun goes up?

kek thanks for that

got it thx
Someone explain to me how the inflow will ever be higher than the outflow. Will they stop draining at some point? Also, there is damage being done to the dam even when outflow>inflow, correct?

>there are probably more anons looking at the water level stats and rainfall radars than civil engineers trying to save that dam
Owen Gonzalez
not sure if digits mean it'll break before the sun comes up or that we'll get new images
Josiah Rivera
IDK But as soon as I posted that the webcam stopped working for me
Jayden Cox
New images of the dam breaking hen the sun comes up

Inflow peaked at 195k during the rain last week. This coming week's rain is heavier.
Nicholas Hall
>Inflow 34k outflow 100k net outflow 66k.
Long as they have a net outflow they in good shape....need this rain to hype up inflow to over 100k, that's when it turns to a party. Dam isn't currently capable of releasing more than 100k right now because of main spillway erosion.
How strong is the rain coming right now/today?
Does anyone know if they turned up the main spillway to account for the base of the dam that's clogged?
Ryder Thomas
I heard the sound of a thunder that roared out a warnin' Heard the roar of a wave that could drown the whole world
Well ya, considering its in the wilderness/rural area and San Faggots and Angelinos could give a dam about some place in the Sierras. Only people freaking out right now it people in Sacramento/Politicians.
Gabriel Clark
whoa jesus, didn't know it varied that dramatically.
Did outflow max out any higher than the 100k it's hovering at now?

They only ramped up to 100k outflow after the aux spillway failed. In fact, prior to all this, the highest they've ran the main spillway in the past 6 years was around 15k cfs.
Austin Howard
Has the tide turned and washed away the webcam?
Brayden Martinez
G-guys, I think we might have another problem

>1488 Now this is a get
Carter Ward
It's going to be strong enough to absolutely exceed 100K especially when you factor in the rest of the snow melting
Aaron Garcia
Rain radar where? Also praise kek

So I guess this isn't going to happen, even if they get another hardcore rainstorm this weekend...

Never! Kek will turn them into his own tools of destruction. They will become boulders that smash the houses of Moloch. (I hope you folk stay safe down there. Prayers are with you.)

Don Pedro is another earthen dam like Oroville, last rain almost shrekt it, it came within three feet of overflowing, and they couldn't get the dam elevatiom down in the three dry days we had, it even went up. Now it's raining again here and also raining all week, and if it over tops it's just as fucked as Oroville.
I have no idea why they are unable to lower the level faster.

The damage is done to the Auxiliary spillway, not to the dam itself. That spillway has literally never been used until now (since the dam was constructed in the 50's) so it's not totally relevant. It undermines their ability to control the outflow right now, but if they can get past this crisis they will be able to repair it.
In pic related, you can see the massive fuggen wall is the actual dam, and the damaged spillway is the concrete ramp next to it. Btw the damage is much worse than this pic right now, but this was the only good angle that had both the dam and the damaged spillway.
