>An official watchdog in Germany has told parents to destroy a talking doll called Cayla because its smart technology can reveal personal data.

>The warning was issued by the Federal Network Agency (Bundesnetzagentur), which oversees telecommunications.

>Researchers say hackers can use an insecure bluetooth device embedded in the toy to listen and talk to the child playing with it.

>Manufacturer Genesis Toys has not yet commented on the German warning.

Germany is a country a immigrants, nazifuck

>Even the toys are spying on your family

it would be horrible if some hacker within 50m figured out how to listen to some 5 year old having tea parties

Kek

Hold on a second. They tell parents to DESTROY it? Not throw it in the garbage, but destroy it? Do Germans not have trash collectors?

I think Germany being hacked is the least of their worries at the moment.

Every time I google for German news, I end up infuriated when I wanted to have an otherwise good day.

Is your child safe from russian hackers?

what a beautiful German child

>bluetooth
so it's a vulònerable entry point that needs proximity to work?
I'd be more concerned of someone bugging a substation instead
or, you know, just getting in the house. They're less than 25 meters from the device, they may as well be in the house already

Such is toy shopping in germany.

>typical german child

...

My kids will never have the internet

>cause I'm poor ;^)

>we should have a tea party with my other friend
>He's really nice and has lots of sweeties
>but it has to be a secret, don't tell mama or papa
>sneak out the back door with me
>go down the alleyway and we can have a tea party all together

Somebody program all the little Cayla dolls to transmit Hitler speeches.
