Although they can moderate the fuck out of it, if the comment section is locked it's suspect

look at that media's stance on syria. if it supports terrorist/moderate rebels it's a propaganda news network. or fake news if you prefer that term.

Look for yellow journalism/clickbait tactics.

Read/Listen to said news. Do they make contradictions to the overarching theme? Do they cite their sources?

Find the bias(what is the source? Who wrote the article? What is his/her bias? "Follow the money").

Fact-check the article yourself. Don't rely on biased fact-checkers. Look for the bias in those reporting those facts.

If it tries to draw you to conclusions, it's fake news, if it gives you facts and leaves it at that, it's real

If trump is projectile-shitting it out of his facehole, it's the real thing.

Everything else is fake.

>she

Also if the title of the article is a question to which you can answer by "no" don't even bother to read it

Jews?

Fake news.

>If it tries to draw you to conclusions, it's fake news

You mean like Breitbart and InfoWars?

You research shit and use your brain.

Look in the corner of the screen.

If you see the letters 'CNN' or 'BBC', then it's fake news.

A bit bloody racist mate

People cry about it being fake news when they dont agree on it. So just agree with everything they say like a good boy and nothing will be fake.

If it's CNN it's usually fake, not exactly sure how to tell though, just going by hearsay

If they don't have a physical address or/and don't publish corrections/allow commenting there's a high chance it's literal propaganda

>watch cnn
>everything the report on is fake, or used to make fake news

Something like "Trump wants to do x" or " Trump is y". Something that sounds definitive and one sided but resorts to emotional outcry and bias. The whole "build the wall" thing, for example, was entire fake news at work because anyone with reading comprehension could look within a 5 minute set time of that particular line and realize what the media said wasn't accurate at all.

Also fake news just has a way of sounding blatantly false from the tone alone.

>How do I tell the difference between fake news and real news?
It's called discernment. Understand where we are and were we can go, then see what people are saying and read between the lines.
Find the narrative and follow it to its natural conclusion.

Just check the FACTS, JACK

Fake news tell fake story not the truth.
2simple4u?

>"sources say [insert extraordinary claim]"

Real news are the one the confirm your pre-existing beliefs.

Easiest way:
No comment section? It's fake news.

You from around these parts?

>Real news are the one the confirm your pre-existing beliefs.
But I think, therefore I am a Waffle!
All news is fake because no one is confirming that i am, in fact, a waffle.

>Use several sources for the same news.

>Remember that every single type of news should be taken with a pinch of salt.

>Look for any fallacies, news reports containing them are shit. They usually indicate bias. Especially 'ad hominem' attacks, and even more so if no sound arguments are presented for the attack.

>Disabled comments = disregard. It does not matter if it's a pro trump article, disabling comments usually is a red flag for dishonesty.

>Is the title of the news report click bait-ish? Does the first 100 words or so not relate at all to the title? Apply more salt.
Apply in that order.
There is probably more things to consider, but personally this is what I use to decide if the news are full of shit
or if they should be considered.

And here is a bonus for you:

>Understand that every politician has used ad hominem attacks. If you decided your support for either canditate last year based on this you are a retard.

>You from around these parts?
No, he's new.
Lets Bogpill him.

Scroll to the bottom. Is there an uncensored section for comments?

Honestly depends on how smart you are. If you dont understand the world work, history and cultures, then dont bother just accept simplicity, life is better that way.

If you do understand, then simply look at everything you hear on ALL platforms and decide for yourself what you believe.

If you lean left then understand the right, and if you lean right then understand the left. Lien to both sides and pick what ever side makes more sense to you.

do research.

Changed my life
Never believed in the JQ until I downloaded this and saw (((they))) were behind literally everything I hate

>shes a Jew

fuck.

does donald agree with it? if so: it's real

Fug my benis, I know she's a kike but I'd still give her a kid.

>leave Sup Forums and get redpilled (geopolitics, foreign policy, political science, etc)
>stop thinking of the world in terms of true/false but instead in terms of interests

>How do I tell the difference between fake news and real news?

I have no real idea, but it's a fantastic tool to use against anti-Trump vermin, somebody almost physically swung for me last night because I claimed his assertion of Trump's Russian involvement was fake news lol. Keep badgering liberals online and IRL, it's inflicting a great deal of pain with these losers at the moment hehe :))

SOURCE!!

Doesnt he support the state of Israel, though?

Republican talking = fake news

fake news meme was used to cover up pizzagate and call out alternative news sources.

The staged comet ping pong shooting to make people think that "fake news sites" were dangerous, or Russian propaganda.

Pizzagate was mostly covered by comedy news shows to discredit it more.

Ben Swann was the only reporter that seriously questioned it and he's blacklisted and scrapped off the internet.

Discussing fake news itself is a distraction

time to re-write the book on being redpilled then

It's fake new if you don't like it but real news if it makes you feel good about daddy

Fact-checking and not trusting people who call themselves fact-checkers.

Fake news is lies. Real news is a story.

Real news reports the facts of something going on and does not insert it's opinions into the article.

Opinionated articles are not news, they are columns.

Read more then one source and use your brain.

>instructions unclear
>read WaPo, HuPo and NYT articles, now believe masculinity is inherently toxic and violent

That's pretty much leaves WikiLeaks.

Look at the last names of the editors and senior producers. If they're Jewish names, there's a pretty good chance you're being given bullshit information.

think about it.

sometimes you can't tell the difference "known unknowns" and "unknown unknowns"

kekd

Does it piss off trump supporters? It's probably real.

Does it delight trump supports? It's probably fake.

...

Sounds about right
It's a journalistic shit-show

People are too hard on their (owners) ideological opponents and too soft on their allies
Best to head for primary sources

...

If it does anything but report verifiable facts in a neutral tone it's fake news

it becomes a skill over time, spidey sense even

absolute statements

It doesn't matter. You're currently living during the infowars where every institution is pushing mass information and propaganda. You can't possibly be on top of this.
I suggest you either: 1. Choose to be skeptical of everything to which you haven't read the scientific report yourself.
Or
2. You just give yourself in to happiness and choose one site which you can fight passionately for.

You can do the last while knowing the first is true, it doesn't matter. The people of the twentieth century does not deserve truth, they deserve war.

/thread

You ask for a raw source, preferably a recording and make up your own mind.

...

Simple, it's all fake to some degree. Except for news about a cat up a tree, unless they can spin that in some way to make you fear trees.

fake news is a meme that should be destryed

You don't seem to understand how memes work

...

Check unbiased sources, particularly that the government releases and learn how to critically analyze the data. And always be skeptical. Look at left-wing and right-wing publications.

For example, I read on a leftist rag that Wal-mart pays their full-time employees $12.50 and hour, which is half what the median income is in the United States($50,000 a year). However, a quick look at the census shows that they were quoting household income, and most households have two income earners. Personal income was $30,000 a year. It's worth noting, though, that most employees are part-time except for the managers or certain departments like electronics.

Another example is the wage gap. Checking the Bureau of Labor statistics show that men work an average of 42 hours a week(including part-timers), 15% more than women. So obviously many of them get 50% overtime pay so they would make 22.5% more than women.

On the conservative side, the right-wing media says 50% of Americans don't pay taxes. For one, that study purely showed income taxes, and doesn't include state, county, city, sales, gasoline, vehicle, mortgage, medicare, or social security taxes. Also half of those 50% are retired people who obviously don't pay income taxes.

White supremacists say the strongest correlation between murder is race. But if you look at data between countries with black, mestizos, whites, Asians, or the states of India, and look at the states of the U.S. you see that race is number 2 and alcohol consumption per person is number 1. And 50% of murderers are 2 or more a day drinkers in the U.S. I believe in either Finland or Norway 86% of murderers are drunk when they commit murder.

Also be wary of sensationalism. Mass shootings are a big deal to the media, but they only happen a few times a year and there are 12,000 murders a year. You're 2000%-3000% more likely to die from a respiratory infection caused by the common cold than a mass shooting.

Common sense, IQ and geopolitical knowledge

Why did you post Bane?

Because he's sexy

>fake news
made by jews

>real news
not made by jews

bent twat

Real news has these nums.

> HuffPo gives Hillary a 98.1% chance of winning the election
> she wins it by three million votes

LOL right wing retards BTFO-ing themselves for me.

>use your brain
you never ever stop using your brain so long as you're alive. it's in constant use. what shitty advice you give. kys nigger.

>A FUCKING LEAF

You win by winning the electoral college, not the popular vote, idiot.

DAMN HILLARY IS OUR PRESIDENT? WOOOO

>yw never jam your dick in between allison brie's jew titties

Stop reading/watching/hearing news.

>Inb4 you can smell and taste and touch news

Leafland doesn't do it by popular vote either
First-past-the-pole/post electoral system means that 40% of the votes can decide 51%+ of government seats

> You win by technicality, not the will of the people, idiot

LMAO you fucking retard you just admitted that republicans can't win a real election and have to rely on a retarded redundant system.

> muh silent majority
> muh rigged polls

LOL right wing retards will say fucking anything.

Trump did say massive voter fraud occurred. Perhaps it occurred in his favor...

Basically this

Sup Forums = Real, but a lot of shit.
News = Shit, barely anything real.

exactly

98.1 chance of winning the presidency is different than 98.1 chance of winning the pop vote

you lost me at race.

Africa is the recipient of the largest charity effort of our species, and they have done absolute dogshit with it.

If it occurred in his favour then why would he bring it up....

BBC = fake news.

if it starts with REPORT:

its fake news

if it's on CNN

It's fake news

THIS

If it was by popular vote Trump still would have won. He would have just had to campaign in New York, California, and Florida to win the popular vote and changed his campaign promises. Both candidates were trying to win the electoral college, and Clinton lost in a landslide.

> he would just have to campaign in the bluest parts of the country

Great strategy, kid.

If it was by popular vote the rural and suburban retards would have gotten BTFO by the educated city people and we would have gotten the president we were supposed to get.

Republicans and their shitty affirmative action system let the hillbilly morons install an orange idiot.

Yes, he just had to turn a a tiny percentage of the people in the blue states to win. He completely ignored California and New York though and he only lost the popular vote because of those two states.

>How do i know real from fake new

>Posts picture of a Jewess.

You're not ready user.

But briefly; if it involves Jews, you lose.

Trump would have only had to turn those tiny amount of blue areas. Clinton would have had to turn those massive amounts of red areas. She would have had no chance.

Forgot pic

Dammit, that was 2004, but the results of this election were even better for Trump.

ITT:

>outlets that publish things I agree with

True and unbiased sources of information! God bless!

>>outlets that publish things I disagree with

Fucking kike globalist shill socialist-corporatist propaganda >:^( ! Ugh, so fake!

This. Of course this takes some astuteness, which not everyone has and so most of the masses will fall for it.
