"first draft news" is a newly formed coalition of the biggest media organizations around the world. NYT, CNN, Google, AP, Reuters, Yahoo, Amnesty International etc. all the big companies, even some european media

among other things their plan includes influencing the French election:

t is obvious to anybody who isn't mentally challenged that media outlets which are owned by huge for profit conglomerates represent the establishments interests.
this is CTR or Shareblue on steroids. CTR was only focused on the US pres race. Shareblue is focused on undermining Trump. Both of those are run by David Brock, he didnt manage to win the campaign and overall he seems like a retard.
"FirstDrawNews" or FDN is much bigger, much stronger, has much more experience (they're even citing their past involvement on MH17 in Ukraine and involvement in Syria.

This is very similar to for-profit colleges also happening to own an 'accreditation' board of some sort, which just happens to accredit them. It looks like a collection of sources which left-leaning media will 'verify' as good, and then consistently use to push whatever narrative they want.
Notice not a single conservative news outlet is listed as being a partner. If they were truly unbiased and simply 'fact checking' as they claim, why is that the case?
It's possible this is simply a disguised funnel for more soros money as well.

It gives the appearance of truth. They can push biased news as and have xyz network to back it up, via other outlets covering identical information.
Think of this as infrastructure to help fake news appear credible, or maybe guidelines to ensure that everything lines up to ensure people like us don't try and poke holes in their stories.

yeah, this is obvious hypocrisy. reports just surfaced that the CIA was involved in the 2012 french election, CIA dismisses it at standard intelligence gathering.

I could see this easily backfiring if we start to point them out like we did with CTR here. It also furthers the sentiment that there is a media conspiracy. I think this was a mistake on their part but only time will tell.
