>Believing the Lügenpresse
lol

why did you choose a news story from june 24 of last year

What the fuck did they expect

*laughes in european*

>m-muh toilets ;_;

>June 24th
Wow.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT TOBLERONE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

How this make sense if uk was highest growing economy 2016 in G7 .

And did way better then expected in 2016

If you look at the date the article was published immediately after the Brexit vote. It's just the Lugenpresse straight up lying to normies who know nothing about economics.

no more gibsmedat for polack niggerz.

Coming from you, Freiss, that should be "laughs in Turkish".

>after pound plunges

Doesn't a lower exchange rate normally lead to more economic growth?

GDP is measured in Dollar, the exchange rate took quite a hit after brexit, so your GDP lowered whithout a good reason.
Also poland and g*rmany is still salty, so that tells you you did something right

yes. Lower currency = more competitive export.

Yes, leads to an increase in export, decreaese in import
Also should increase foreign investment

Toblerone didn't want to raise its prices in the UK.
So instead they reduced the amount of chocolate per bar.

june 24th, what are you even doing clown?

the pound absolutely needs to plummet so we can actually revert to a more industrialised economy and not the complete meme economy we have now i.e. financial services creates a huge currency bubble which we all live off but nobody has any job in any wealth generating exporting industry outside of meme services. UK is poor as fuck and we've been living a lie since thatcher sold us out to the eternal jew services in the 80s, but thankfully we've woken up. Same is happening in the US.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

>Jun 24 2016
You'll still clean british toilets untermensch

>economy size affected by currency exchange
What a farce

hasn't really worked out that great for the japs t b h. it's easy to think of exports existing in some bubble but they are tied to imports - raw materials often need to be imported. additionally, there's plenty of evidence out there that even when presented with a lower exchange rate advantage, companies tend to account for it by adjusting their prices up and just profiting more.

>hasn't really worked out that great for the japs

They have DEFLATION, not inflation.

problem about us is that if we lower our dollar to low it will fucking collapse, the thing is that the chyniese hold all the fucking gold and shit in the world, they are preparing waiting every day for a dollar announcement then boom set off a economic bomb of catastrophic proportions and possibly become the worlds super power. Our dollar cant take anymore lowering because its the currency of the world its hard making everyone use dollars as investment money everyone depends on a high dollar, dont have a high dollar is basically gtfo in the trading world

Really now, user, really? Yeah, people were scared somewhat, whoop dee doo. They expected even worse than what happened. t was obvious that UK market access will be constrained without EU, they still keep on trucking. Most people who voted for Brexit seemed to be willing to sacrifice some finances for control over their own internal politics and borders, so they do.

Companies looking to make some cash used brexit as an excuse to raise profit margins. Pretty scummy to be honest.

muh sovereignty!

Brexit is proof of how uneducated Britons are. They think that UK politicians are somehow less self serving than European ones. Not that it was the reason brexit happened. Brexit happened because of immigration. Immigration which will not be stopped and certainly not reversed.

Haha student detected.

>Hurr Durr Guardian says it's bad therefore I am drone.

We have all the power here. When le pen wins France the EU is over. Fuck globalism.

The EU is unpopular throughout Western Europe.
It is a bureaucratic mess.

Brits are just the first with the balls to step out, probably because you (wisely) never fully joined in the first place.

British politics has nothing to do with it, it's the EU that fucked up.

The best thing is Amazon UK is now almost always the cheapest option when compared to euros.

How come you are in UK and you are so mistaken about reasons for major political decisions that even some random Polish dude who never was in your country has to correct you?

The call for Brexit was exactly because people didn't blame local politicians but instead had those politicians maintain that their hands are tied due to deals forced upon them by EU. You're right that it was, predominantly, in regards to immigration, though.

And while immigration won't be stopped and possibly not reversed - the former would be bad for your country, the latter may be simply too hard - with control over your own border policies on top of welfare provision once your country won't be forced to legally accept more refugees, you may have a chance of severely stemming the brown tide.

In other news, immigration surges in France, rioting occurs all around Paris, rape and crime rates soar. Police are yet to find a cause.

>inb4 it's all because the surge of racial hate against peaceful refugees and because those scared refugees are suffering severely and feel to defend themselves in a preventive manner!

Wew

Based pole. We will give you special pass for you and your plumber friends.

>Jun 24 2016

What u mean, are u stupid or what????
We recommend the "Swedish model", which means the only solution is MORE immigrants!!

Thanks but I'd rather look for work locally. I may visit seasonally since job market is still shit but so far I am doing well enough to more likely simply come as a tourist for a week or so some day.

This

If you ask most people who voted Brexit (as observed by asking brits on Sup Forums), they don't actually have a reason other than parroting UKIP's retarded memes. When you confront them with the facts that they're objectively more independent while being prosperous and in the EU as opposed to not prosperous and having to suck dick for treaties, they erupt in rage and revert to their delusional reaffirmation that they didn't fuck up. For an additional rage effect, you can include the fact that they just alienated the entire future voter base against conservatism, and that they will be getting pro-immigration governments for at least 4-5 terms because of Brexit alone, fully negating the supposed "anti-immigration" effect of leaving the EU, while destroying a third of their economy.

>they just alienated the entire future voter base against conservatism, and that they will be getting pro-immigration governments for at least 4-5 terms because of Brexit alone
Yet the tories are polling at 41% to Labour's 24% lmao

>countries compete to be the 5th largest economy
pathetic

You know well what I meant by "conservatism", not the party but the ideology. Your conservative party was against Brexit.

And in other news UKIP was and still is the fastest growing political party in the UK and it was their rise in power which caused the referendum to be offered in the first place.

Remember that they're the only anti-EU political party in the UK and have never been in power, yet the fear that they're gaining members was enough for pro-EU parties to offer the referendum.

If you think we'll end up with pro immigration policies in future you're just not living in reality with the rest of us. People like me will continue to vote UKIP and they might never hold political power but it'll scare the shit out of those in power and they'll have to fall in line with what the UK public want, which is massively reduced immigration.

>revert to a more industrialised economy

Never going to happen thanks to Thatcher.

Brexit is being marketed for even even more free trade. IE, even more neoliberalism.

Bribing companies like Nissan to stay does not change this.

>article from June 24 2016

>they're objectively more independent while being prosperous and in the EU

Since joining the EU the middle class in the UK has only become poorer.

EU does create a lot of extra wealth, but it only goes to the super rich and to the migrants.

>you can include the fact that they just alienated the entire future voter base against conservatism

>

>Implying we have an actual Conservative party

France and the UK share exactly the same characteristic : population, army, GPD, climate, industries...

They keep passing each other every fucking 2 weeks in every domain; to the delight of whatever retarded journalist who wants to make a point "France passed by the UK in industrial output !!!11", "UK passed by France in military spending !!11111"

>June 24th 2016

CTR pls go

It's aleady happening m8

British government has been plowing money into high-value manufacturing catapults for many years now. I work in this sector - It's real progress.
>[hvm.catapult.org.uk/]

High value manufacturing is our strongest hand, aside from all the pissing about with services in the City. Think Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems etc etc.

They want to develop the UK Space sector too and herald a new era of British industrial dominance worth £25 billion. Building a spaceport on British soil too lad.
>[gov.uk/government/news/government-announces-boost-for-uk-commercial-space-sector]

I hope so. They need to stop selling this shit off like ARM

Not if you're a consumption based services economy it doesn't

>250 million nao

Great. Soon these fuckers will start another world war again ...

wtf i hate these new captchas what the fuck is wrong with them REEEEEEEEE i need like 1 minute to solve them HELP

I guess they considered the GDP in a fixed period.
UK total economy is worth X billion Pounds, if the pound lose 5%, so does the entire UK economy.

Since they're extremely close to France, variations in their respective currencies makes them pass each other basically every week.

Journalists are retarded, as are their readers.

What will happen to Polish gibs when the UK are no longer contributing to the EU?

Not so fast

>What will happen to Polish gibs when the UK are no longer contributing to the EU?

Don't worry, they've secured their gibs :^)

So it's like CNN?
FAKE NEWS

Jesus fucking christ!!

We are currently in the planning process of building a wall between Ireland and the UK.

We expect there to be many British refugees.

pound is just returning to where it should be, the euro is getting ready to crash and burn.

Lepen won't win France, bong. It's literally impossible. Not because muh lugenpresse or muh liberal, but because politicians from various parties can take votes, then leave the race, invalidating the vites that can't go to anyone else.
They will use that system to keep Le Pen out.
It's going to be the first time in history, Americans will be jealous of the French.

Yeah that was a big mistake, but private companies are entitled to do stupid shit like that.

Don't believe all the hype about automotive sector either - it's just a bunch of foreign companies setting up robotic production lines on UK soil. They aren't loyal to British manufacturing jobs so will just up sticks and move to Eastern Europe when it suits

>yet the fear that they're gaining members was enough for pro-EU parties to offer the referendum
Except Cameron was absolutely convinced the referendum wouldn't pass and only pushed it through to shut up the anti-EU tories

By what metric? GDP PPP GNP? The Treasury were wrong about post vote growth and our GDP is growing faster than France. France has stagnated for a decade. The only continent with lower growth is Antarctica; however, when the Euro finally unwinds maybe growth will be higher in the South Pole. Germans have become no richer in real terms since reunification. They use the protected European market to sell mediocre products via Euro. The Euro keeps German exports cheap by artificiality weakening the German currency. Naturally, due to trade equilibria, other Euro countries are forced to import. Then the Germans demand that Greece, Spain, France, and Italy revive their economies by increasing output and exporting! Both Germany and PIIGS cannot have export led growth in the Euro. Add to that the massive debt crisis still ongoing and the thing is doomed.

It was doomed from the start and the Euro was actually designed to fail. In the crisis they wanted to consolidate political power. The EU will never work without being a single totalitarian state. It would need ONE Treasury for EU, one government, one leader etc. Which is exactly what people don't want.

Real Britbongs don't buy fucking overpriced Toblerone Swiss shit anyway

It's Cadbury's Freddos all day erry day

Good.

>Friday Jun 24th 2016

Into the trash, we're still 5th thanks to prostitution.

>Except Cameron was absolutely convinced the referendum wouldn't pass and only pushed it through to shut up the anti-EU tories
I don't think he was given the resources they put into the remain campaign. And also given the fact he resisted offering it for so long. If you're so certain it wouldn't pass then offer it up as early as possible to pre-empt any kind of migration of voters to parties like UKIP

It took UKIP actually fielding surprisingly large numbers in the last GE to really let the major parties know that they're realistically only 1 more election cycle away from winning. If UKIP have the same percentage growth in 2020 as the last GE then they'll easily get a coalition or even win.

>excuse
No it's called the market tanking.

Based East European immigrant women

Does the list even go down as far as Poland?

and as long as the tories keep being arrogant retards, we'll keep getting what we want

>Your conservative party was against Brexit.
It was split basically 50/50 on it and had no official position

Continentals mad as fuck

Any price is worth it in the long term to leave your Cucked union

You mean (((Toblerone))) tried to make a publicity stunt about how bad leaving the EU was.
