I live close to Detroit and honestly, it's starting to pull itself together. Going bankrupt and electing a white mayor is the best thing to ever happen to it. There are hundreds of new projects happening and white people are moving there in droves. They've already run out of office space because of how many new companies are moving in. Billions are being invested into making it a modern city; a futuristic metropolis and the most futuristic city in America. It's starting to look like something out of a sci-fi movie.
