What is it like living in the US? It sounds weird to me. I can't wrap my head around the fact that you can travel for miles and be in the same state.

You could kind of imagine it like the EU. Each state is like an individual country, that you can travel in between, and like a country, each state has big cities and small towns and shit.

Drove from east coast to west coast once. Was pretty comfy watching how gradually the terrain changed from green to brown each day as the desert got closer.

Our states are like your nations, our nation is about twice the size of your multinational union.

from where to where?

And very divergent sets of laws and values.

come visit the beaches in Florida, im sure youd love it

Its pretty rad, each state is like its own little country, with its own culture and cuisine. Its magical. Best country

NJ to AZ, I lied about west coast.
I've had plenty of long drives before, but the way the road just keeps going and going it makes you feel pretty tiny.

It's not that diverse. US law tends to be more uniform than EU law because the Federal government is so dominant, and we share more values among each other than the Europeans do.

A hick from Oklahoma and a libtard from California probably have more in common than your average German and Greek.

It is not that weird, each state is kinda like a different country, except differences aren't that big.

O BEAUTIFUL FOR SPACIOUS SKIES

OR AMBER WAVES OF GRAIN

longest i've been is from chicago to memphis

it would be pretty comfy to do a road trip to every state

FOR PURPLE MOUNTAIN MAJESTIES
ABOVE THE FRUITED PLAIN

Drove from south to north, as well. Way better driving.
FL to CT.

AMERICA! AMERICA!
GOD SHED HIS GRACE ON THEE

Imagine saying "Hitler did nothing wrong and niggers and women." and if someone attacks you, you can prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law and then they pay you money.

AND CROWN THY GOOD IN BROTHERHOOD
FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA!

God bless :DDD

>What is it like living in the US?

Shit, obviously.

Their society is at the same level of civility as your average middle eastern shithole, except with less burqas and more crime.

Ironic because so many echo chamber idiots here (including Americans) cheer on Brexit when they themselves live in a country that is highly varied, with constituent states, state law and federal law.

Stephen Fry did a road trip through every single state for a tv series that you can watch on YouTube. It's interesting to watch, though it did not focus on many of the things that I would have.

Episode 1:

Although I was happy that they included this part for Alabama:

we think its weird rest of world lives without guns or women with big tits and doesnt copy our capitalism and success
short skinny women with no tits are 1/10

>each state is like its own little country, with its own culture

Why you don't support freedom of movement in the EU then? Presumably you do in your own country.

Living in the Midwest is fun. Imagine the most rural part of Norway and think of that times 10.

>when the eurotard finally realizes how great america is

Pretty great. The driving thing is kinda funny, I just fucked around and took a day trip last weekend, didn't really do anything just drive to a restaurant in another town and then went to another and then came back. Was gone 7 hours, about 5 1/2 of that was driving. Never left the state. I actually enjoy driving around and listening to music and shit, though, so it's a nice way to spend the day for me.

I don't think you know what irony means

you can drive for 2,000 km and still be in Norway

fun, you get to go on roadtrips, and every 3 miles the sales tax changes.

really

really
fun

My county is larger than 5 European nations.

Freedom of speech and expression is held in much higher regard in Norway than your country, retard.

You can't even show a nipple on television without causing a massive scandal.

Meanwhile in Norway, when a primetime national TV show featured a porn shoot and a feminist got mad about it, the show hired a porn studio to make a parody porno of said SJW, then showed it on TV.

This is really more Sup Forums desu.

Highly varied is an overstatement. Americans are very alike all across the country, unlike the EU.

Sounds pretty trashy, bro. Is Norway like Jerry Springer: The Country?

The USA could be so great if not for all the niggers, spics and jews.

States and countries aremail not really the same thing, if you haven't figured it out yet.

Because every border has cops that routinely patrol it and American police can work together to find fleeing criminals. When your shit tier European countries work together like our United States, we'll talk. Faggot.

yh but a Dane and a Norwegian have more in common than a hick from Oklahoma and a libtard form commie cali(phate)

Never thought about how funny the Iron Bowl is until I saw this, must be absolutely insane from an outsider's perspective. Was also nice to see how much he loved the South, and how much he despised Florida. Correct opinions, Stephen Fry.

US States have never been at war with one another over the course of centuries.

You're proud of some staged porn being played? Filth.

>Americans are very alike all across the country, unlike the EU.
Not true at all. West and East coast are degenerate fuckwits and nonwhites and the south is all inbreds.

I don't know your shitty celebrities.

Norway is a country that stands up for the right to express yourself in any way you want as long as you don't privately harass or physically hurt someone else.

That mainly means that Norwegian comedy tends to be far more obscene and politically incorrect than yours.

>Stephen Fry
flibbidy flobbidy grumbly wumbly yanky wanky
pish posh
nitwit blubber odment tweak

my route through America if money and time were abundant

You think I WANT those corndog-smelling mother fuckers from Louisiana in my state?

But seriously, there is a genuine state level pride AND federal level nationalism. We don't have 1000's of years of history fighting each other. The only thing like that is the civil war, but Yankees mostly stay out of the South anyway so it doesn't matter.

you have 2 languages 80% english 20% spanish.
we have 14 languages with the highest(german) at 18%. Europe is very cultrally diverse compared to the usa

>detroit
is being raped and murdered by a wild pack of niggers at the end part of the itinerary?

NEVER COME TO DETROIT ITS HORRIBLE

That's only true if your perception of reality is entirely based on stereotypes.

Sounds pretty cool. Are you sure you don't know any of our celebrities, though? Find that kind of hard to believe but if you say so I believe you. Anyway, I'll just leave this here, Norwaybro.

Why not visit the Badlands?

Well he's a cliche Brit but is fascinated with America, so of course we're going to love him.

Well, except for that one time.

It was just an example. OP said he had a hard time perceiving how large the states were, and I used the EU as a comparison. Political cleavages are the main difference between the two, like you said.

>Detroit but not >96%, picturesque coastal Americana Maine

disappointed, I thought we had something with you guys.

>Detroit

AVOID

THE SOUTH WILL RISE AGAIN

not any more, borders be closed now and you must pass a checkpoint before entering other honorable membas

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_speech#Norway
>Norway prohibits hate speech, and defines it as publicly making statements that threaten or ridicule someone or that incite hatred, persecution or contempt for someone due to their skin colour, ethnic origin, homosexual orientation, religion or philosophy of life.

Lying Norwegian BTFO

I drove from Arizona to Flordia for vacation and it was a week long boring trip, Texas took 2 days with stops every now and then.

For foreigners

Drove from that Mexican peninsula on the west coast to the American Penisula on the east coast. 10/10 would probably not do again

you realise the northeast and west coast are relativly white compared to the south and texas

If I got into my car right now and drove directly West, it would take 48 hours of straight driving, stopping only for gas, to hit the West coast. Feels good.

Feels good man.
This is the reason Americans only know 1 language: you never need to know a language beyond English.

Meant for

>west coast
>relatively white
There were spics everywhere last time I visited California

Which even then was between two countries of unified states and not individual states having border disputes erupting into full on wars because their kings didn't like one another.

Isn't just as likely I hit nogtown somewhere in Alabama or Georgia too? Besides it's not fully exhaustive and Detroit is just to cross back to Windsor

Drove coast to coast a couple of times.
Nawlins is the spookiest city in America.

Detroit is more than just nogtown, it's fuckin bad.

Ur in Windsor??? H-how is it across the river?

Language isn't culture. The culture between states is about as drastic as countries in the EU.

>one chance at life
>born in tyranny state known as UK
>shittiest most boring terrain you could possibly imagine
>you will never be american
>you will never be able to end up in a desert, swamp, the beautiful hills / beaches of California, snowy mountain tops, rural woodland or endless farmland by taking a 24 hour car journey
>spent literally days watching videos like youtube.com/watch?v=VjxinxvIi68 to compensate
Thing is I'm too scared to have a holiday in the US because I think when I return to the UK I wont be able to live my life knowing what it's like in the US. A visit to the US would lead to an immediate suicide.

Apparently there is still damage from Katrina

What the hell is up Northern Nevada anyway? Is there anything of note up there?

Texas took you 2 days??? How many times did you have to change your tampon? Thats like 8 hours total

This. I've lived in Texas all my life and will never learn peasant spanish.

with a bit of luck you'll be able to fuck off to live in USA without significant requirenebts, just hurry up with the divorce

>I can't wrap my head around the fact that you can travel for miles and be in the same state.

Sounds like traveling from Norway to Sweden

You don't understand: even nogs avoid Detroit. In the South, a lack of PC culture has ensures that things don't get TOO bad.

With your accent, you could easily trick a whore into marrying you for a green card. Then voila.

Come on over man

Just because I hate the EU doesn't mean I hate Europe. Some ideas from the EU are great. Giving Greece and Ukraine billions of dollars and forcing indevidual countries to take in an unmanageable amount of ''refugees'' are not such good idea's.

I personally think we should destroy the EU and start anew.

Ottawa senpai, Windsor is supposed to be really shitty though

How much money dose that cost to do roughly mate? Trying to think of a holiday idea for next year.

You lads across the pond will always be welcome here.

that woman you posted is a midget

Went to visit the Alamo and other historical places for a day

I love the UK mate, don't get me wrong i like going abroad but would never permanently move away, sounds more like you live in a depressing part of the country.

I repeat

>Maine
> >96%

Good fucking luck finding a black person here, I've met about 10, and there's a small Somali community in a shithole town nobody goes to, and people say they are productive and dindu nuffin, so whatever.

Just don't get hurt, you'll be bankrupted if you break your arm while you're here.

Literally read the next sentence you fucking inbred morons.

>At the same time, the Norwegian Constitution guarantees the right to free speech, and there has been an ongoing public and judicial debate over where the right balance between the ban against hate speech and the right to free speech lies. Norwegian courts have been restrictive in the use of the hate speech law and only few persons have been sentenced for violating the law since its implementation in 1970.

I don't want to risk losing half of my shit.

Your immigration laws are specifically designed to make it near impossible for white people to immigrate.

You think that's asthetically pleasing landscape? Our whole entire nation is literally that copy and pasted over and over again. I'd abandon my entire family and never seen them again in a heart beat if it means I can live in the US.

Driving kind of sucks sometimes. But it's nice that you can actually get out to places where there's literally nobody around for miles.

Oh please.

How's your Obongocare Bronze plan going

Drove from PA to MT in one shot once. Was a pretty good 36 hour trip, except for the three hours I got stuck around Chicago...what a shit hole.
